The home was very clean and great for three adults - would also be good for couples. The beds were comfortable and we enjoyed the sunset from the front patio.
One of the most beautiful homes I’ve ever stayed at. This was a perfect location, easy access to everything we wanted to do. The back courtyard was perfection and a perfect place to have morning coffee and enjoy the birds.
My sisters and I had a wonderful stay. This was a beautiful house, in a nice neighborhood. We had the pleasure of meeting Diana and she was very kind and accommodating.
Four siblings and two spouses celebrating a couple birthdays and site-seeing in Santa Fe and Taos. We had a wonderful time in this beautiful home in a quiet neighborhood.

It was fun hosting you and your family…a fun loving group! Hope to see you here again sometime.
Amazing property and the Zeiset were amazing hosts! Such a welcoming home and comfy atmosphere! The outdoor garden is so tranquil and the view of the mountains is something to wake up to! They were so sweet to our whole family. I would highly recommend a stay with them anytime!

Nick and his family were such wonderful guests! We enjoyed our brief conversations with them and were absolutely delighted having them as guests! They also left the house in great condition. We would welcome them back anytime!
A very pretty home, both inside and outside with very comfortable bedrooms, well stocked bathrooms and kitchen that met our practical needs, even fresh coffee grounds. Very comfortable home.
The house was beautiful, spotless, cozy and comfortable and we would love to stay there again. Our hosts were lovely people and very welcoming. The backyard oasis was one of our favorite parts of the property and it was just as relaxing to sit out on the front porch in the evening watching the sunset. The neighborhood was very charming and it was generally less than a 10-minute drive to the center of Santa Fe.
Comfortable and attractive property. Best casita we have stayed at in Santa Fe!

Thank you Cynthia for your kind words. You and your family were wonderful guests and we enjoyed having you stay with us. You are absolutely welcome back anytime!
David and Diana are wonderful hosts, and I would highly recommend their lovely home to anyone visiting Santa Fe. They are attentive hosts without being intrusive. If you have a question, one of them answers promptly. The house is spacious and immaculate and, all the better, filled with David's wonderful art work. We were skiing at Ski Santa Fe, and although the house is on the south side of the city, getting through town was a snap. We thoroughly enjoyed our second stay.

Thank you for your kind words Robert! It is always fun having you as guests! You have a lovely family and we hope to see you again sometime!
Great location. Lovely home. We were a group of six women and everyone enjoyed our stay tremendously. We were able to go sight seeing in the morning, take an afternoon break at the house, and head back out. Literally minutes from the Plaza, Canyon Road, Tesuque, Oho Hot Springs. Hosts were very welcoming and answered any questions we had. They were on the property, but you wouldn't necessarily know that. We all agreed we would definitely rent this home again. Thank you so much!
This property suited our family with two teens perfectly (almost too perfectly). We normally try to find a property with a bedroom with two beds so they could share and not spoil them with their own rooms with queen beds. Oh well. It's located in a "regular" neighborhood but many attractions and restaurants in Santa Fe are a relatively short drive from this property. This property has all the amenities and comfort for a very enjoyable stay in Santa Fe.
We are three adult friends getting away for a long weekend stay in SF. This house is as described and is quite well appointed with kitchen staples including spices, coffee, condiments and all the dishes, pots and pans you could possibly need. It is obviously a place the owners use and they want you to be comfortable there as well. The house was clean and comfortable for us three. The location is a short drive to all the things we like to do...shop at consignment stores, the square and eat great food. We felt the value was good for a three bedroom and the booking and check-in were easy. We did not need anything when we were there so did not have to contact the hosts during our stay. The few reasons I did not give five stars across the board are: the master bed mattress is ready for a replacement as is the carpet in that room, the back yard has a nice firepit that was already loaded with kindling, but there are not chairs around it (there are extra chairs on the front patio but it would be nice if they were in place in the back) and the neighborhood is a little run down and not really walkable to anything. Overall this was a great stay and if this house were in a walkable location, I would stay there again and again...I might anyway, but need to factor in the constant need for a vehicle. All that said, I'm sure the price would be much higher if it were closer to restaurants and again, this was a good value! Great place to stay if you don't mind driving everywhere.

Thank you for your thoughtful response. The mattress is on schedule for replacement this year as is all the carpeting in the house. As for the fire pit…it was not advertised as something for guests to use and, in fact, open fires would be frowned upon in Santa Fe. Granted, it is not an upper east end neighborhood of mansions, but a very safe, friendly neighborhood with wonderful folks. And yes, you would be paying a steep price for a three bedroom house in such a neighborhood…and also needing a vehicle.
David and Diana's home is a beautiful oasis that was perfect for a small family trip. Everything from the landscaping, to the artwork, to the furniture is elegant and comfortable. We enjoyed walking on the trails behind the house and even helping with a wall mural on the back wall. a special place to stay. Not the closest to downtown, but easily accessible.
We had a wonderful stay at Dave and Diana property. So clean and beautiful. We loved the location for activities and places to visit are all within short driving range. Thank you Dave and Diana for a most enjoyable stay at your place!

About the host
Hosted by DAVID, DIANA ZEISET
Diana and Dave are from Santa Fe, NM. We are retired teachers. Dave taught art and Diana taught fourth grade. Dave is currently an active artist who's work is abstract. He loves drawing and painting. Diana is a musician, conservationist and loves gardening. We have three adult children, all married and seven grand children living in Colorado, Florida and California. We love traveling and enjoy hiking and camping.
Why they chose this property
This is a great, quiet neighborhood. It’s very close to the rail trail that extends into Santa Fe (about 3 miles) and in the opposite direction for 5-10 miles.
What makes this property unique
We have remodeled the entire property over the years and created a pleasant courtyard in the rear.
