Hello everyone and welcome to this page! My house consists of three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a relaxation area with a sofa and a 40 "LED TV, a kitchen with a 22" LED TV.
The double bedrooms are air conditioned and have tv. In every room there is wi-fi.
The house is right in the center and you can move on foot or by public transport to visit via Etnea, the Duomo and the beauties of Catania.
Below my house you will find: bars, supermarkets, pharmacies, tobacconists, ATM services, hairdressers, restaurants, pizzerias, sandwich shops, wine shops, etc.
Also a few meters from my house there is a beautiful market called by us Catania also "fair".
The house is close to the bus and train station and the sea can be reached either by bus or a 15-minute walk. To visit the Etna is very convenient the bus that leaves at 8:00 from the bus station.

Good spacious place

Host was late so waited about 20 min for him standing at business next door. He was nice and place was big. No real coffee maker just a stove top maker for 1 person but we went out for coffee which was great. Close to supermarkets and nice walk to major areas. Place is 3 bedroom and bedrooms large. A/c was good too. Water pressure not so good in small showers

Very spacious place close to the center

Big and clean apartment with everything you need. There was no hot water for couple days, but I guess it was issue of the building.

There was a second floor which was constructed at the roof of the original house, you could reach by using a strange stairecase. The height of the second floor was at most 180 cm, which was very catastrophic, hard to breath, very hot. There was a double bedroom in the kitchen, which was unconfortable. I think the pictures of the flat is miss leading. There is no where in the description which mentions the second floor.

Cute apartment

The host was communicative and very friendly and helpful. We arrived late, but he did not complain about having to meet us so late. He was helpful with suggestions of places to eat nearby and things to do and see. It is about a 15-minute walk from the train station and about 10-15 minutes from the main tourist area of the city. The apartment was spacious and clean, and the host had provided some cold drinks in the fridge and some breakfast pastries. The air conditioner cooled the place well.

Convenient location to explore Sicily

We used the apartment as a central location to explore much of Sicily taking day trips and overnights as needed. The apartment is more than adequate but the location is difficult to get to and park because of the traffic and congestion. Still I would this property again. Mario was very helpful and pleasant to work with.

Un appartement bien situé et un accueil chaleureux

Nous étions 4 adultes et avons loué l'appartement pour 4 nuits. L’appartement est propre, bien chauffé et les chambres confortables. Par contre, la cuisine est petite pour y cuisiner ensemble. La porte de la salle de bain à l’étage supérieur grince lorsqu’on l’ouvre et la referme, ce qui dérange la nuit. Le quartier est tranquille, mais quelquefois, nous avons entendu les voisins dans les escaliers. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié l'accueil sympathique d'Alessio qui est venu nous chercher à la gare. Il a ensuite pris le temps de nous remettre une carte de la ville pour nous indiquer les restaurants et commerces d'utilité. Il avait acheté beaucoup de provisions pour nos petits déjeuners et collations. Le jour du départ, son père est venu nous reconduire à la gare. L’appartement est situé à proximité d’un supermarché et des gares d’autobus et de train et à une distance raisonnable à pied du centre historique, ce qui a facilité notre séjour et nos déplacements.

Very disappointed and you can find better flats for the price.

We had several issues with the flat: the flat is not centerally air conditioned. Only one room has air condition. Allesio locked the 4th bedroom and said that we won’t need it since we were only 3 guests. He didn’t even open it to let us choose the rooms and said that we would not want it anyway since it is not air conditioned. The upstair floor smelled like some was smoking there and stunk. The internet kept dropping and was limited to 1Gb. we had to go and lift the electricity switch twice. The host was nice but barely knows English so it was very hard to communicate the above issues and wax bit frustrating. Alessio did reply to text and filled the flat with 1 bottle of wine, cookies and soft drinks for free. The flat is not walk distance from city center

Great home in the city

We enjoyed our stay in this lovely apartment in Catania. The owner, Alessio, was very kind to us. He wanted to make sure that we had a good experience in Catania. He went above and beyond what was expected. The apartment was very nicely equipped. The rooms and kitchen were really nice. I would definitely recommend this apartment to my friends. I give it my highest rating. You will not regret renting Alessio’s very nice home/apartment. It is very well located and you can walk to everything. I can’t say enough good things about this property and the owner. A home away from home 😊

American Friendly Stay in Catania

My daughter and I flew from different U.S. cities and met in Catania. We don't speak Italian. We phoned Alessio from the airport, rented a car and were greeted at the apartment by Franco and Alessandro. They showed us how to do everything we needed to know and answered our vast number of questions. Franco even taught me how to make Espresso. They made us feel welcome and comfortable. If you choose to stay in this apartment, you will have the experience of living a typical Catania lifestyle. The kitchen had all we needed for breakfast, even the coffee was provided. The grocery store is just down the street on the same block. There is an excellent bakery up the street the other way as well as cafes. We didn't cook too many meals there as we were out each day exploring Sicily. We parked our rental car on the right side of the street each night for free. You just have to be a really good at parallel parking and learn exactly where parking is allowed. The apartment is quite large with 3 bedrooms. We only used two of the bedrooms and each bedroom had its own bathroom which was great. I chose the bedroom upstairs which has narrow, steep stairs leading to it. My bedroom overlooked the courtyard and the other one overlooked the street. The street is a very busy one with lots of traffic. If you are a city dweller you will feel right at home. My daughter lives in D.C., so she was fine with this. There is no central heating and cooling. We were there for 2 1/2 weeks over Thanksgiving and towards the end we felt a little cool but still we did not use the space heater. I don't know how hot Catania gets in the summer. The apartment was clean and beds were comfortable. After one week Alessandro cleaned the apartment and changed the sheets and towels. Alessio answered all of my e-mails very quickly. The apartment had WiFi which was very important to us as we didn't have a data plan for Italy. The location of this apartment is walking distance to downtown Catania with all of its good restaurants, markets and amazing historical sites. We also found it easy to access the A18 highway to get to Taormina and the north side of Etna. My son was stationed on the U.S. naval base in Sigonella and we found it to be 20-30 minutes to get there depending on traffic. We also found Siracusa and Noto to be only about 1 1/2 hours away. And of course Mt. Etna is very close. The airport is 20 minutes away. We enjoyed staying in this apartment.

Great apartment

We recently stayed in a fantastic holiday apartment in Catania and had such a great experience. The apartment is really spacious and well-maintained, with everything you need for a comfortable stay.
