Charming apartment for golfers

Charming rustic property in secluded residence, five minute walk from beautiful Valescure golf course, IDEAL FOR GOLFERS. Complete with original wooden beams. The 100 year old residence was originally a hotel up to the 1970's and was subsequently converted into individual apartments, studios and mews . Situated on the roof of the first floor, our house and terrace is surrounded by a beautiful balustrade. All main rooms open onto the terrace with views of mountains and mature gardens. There is a magnificent pool and kiddies pool. Private parking. Walking distance from Golf club, restaurants, shops and tennis, three miles (5km) from beautiful old town of St. Raphael and four miles (6.5km) from historic Frejus and 5 miles (8km) from charming village of Agay with its long sandy beach and little coves with restaurants dotted along the way. Traveling by car the property is approximately 45 minutes from Nice Airport, 25 minutes from Cannes on one side, St. Maxime and St. Tropez on the other. Furnished with fully fitted kitchen, bathroom/shower. Chairs on terrace' Although we have no air conditioning we have just installed ceiling fans in the two bedrooms. With the number of doors and windows in the apartment it is surprisingly airy.


This area is lush with vineyards - you can drop in to any of them.

Golfers choice: The residence is surrounded by a beautiful 18 hole golf course (Golf club Valescure, the oldest course in the Var) and is situated beside another beautiful course Golf Esterel). Both courses are within walking distance of the resicence. There are also at least thirty golf courses within a one hour drive of the property with varying degrees of difficulty.

Beautiful pool

Beautiful pool in a lovely setting, pretty balcony with lovely flowering plants. Overall a great place to stay, check in process was the only let down.

Lejlighed og pool helt i top.Indtjekning var lidt forvirrende, da vi troede vi kørte forkert, da vi ikke havde opfattelsen af at det var den kæmpe bygning. Et billede af bygningen vil have hjulpet.Lilllan som tog imod os var super sød og imødekommende. Vi var dog udfordret af at vi måtte kommunikere via Google translate, da vi ikke taler fransk men vi kommer rigtig gerne igen.

Nous avons passé 12 jours merveilleux sur la Côte d'Azur. L'emplacement est un rêve. Pas trop loin de la plage (5 minutes en voiture) et très calme. La piscine est magnifique et pas trop fréquentée. Malheureusement, l'unité d'habitation ne dispose pas de chaises longues ou autres à utiliser à la piscine, il faut les apporter soi-même. Seuls l'équipement de la cuisine et la propreté ne méritent pas la note maximale. Mais c'était tout à fait dans le cadre et l'équipement de la cuisine était aussi explicitement décrit dans l'annonce. Nous avons passé un bon moment. Les voisins étaient également très gentils. L'appartement en terrasse sur le toit semble toutefois être un peu bruyant. Lorsque les enfants jouaient un peu plus fort, on nous demandait poliment de faire un peu moins de bruit. Même en cas de panne de voiture, un voisin nous a aidés avec amour. Pendant la journée, il peut faire un peu chaud dans l'appartement (pas d'air conditionné), mais cela s'estompe rapidement le soir. Je ne recommande pas plus de 4 habitants. Merci beaucoup pour ces merveilleuses vacances

La maison de Tony et Denise est très agréable avec ses terrasses et une jolie vue. La résidence est très propre. La piscine est très belle entourée de beaux jardins. Un grand merci a Tony et Denise pour leur disponibilité et leur gentillesse. Nous espérons pouvoir revenir.

Great apartment with beautiful swimmingpool

We really enjoyed our stay! Overall the apartment and the swimmingpool are even nicer then on the pictures. Swimmingpool was not very busy at all and also has a nice babybath. The apartment is very neat and perfectly allocated from Fréjus and St Raphael. We recommend the place for sure.

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour en famille. Logement spacieux et fonctionnel avec terrasse appréciable dans un cadre calme. La résidence et la piscine sont très bien entretenus. Point a améliorer peut être plus de temps dédié au ménage entre-deux locataires (poussière sous les lits /canapé, vitres ). Nous reviendrons avec plaisir.

Totally fabulous

Helt fantastisk lejlighed med en terrasse der er helt outstanding. Kommunikationen var i top både inden afrejse og ved ankomst. Det er nødvendigt at have en bil, hvis man vil lidt rundt. Skøn swimmingpool. Vi kommer gerne igen

Propriété bien entretenue, sécurisée, au calme et très bien située pour visiter la région.Des prestations exceptionnelles dont une grande piscine toujours au top, parking sécurisé où l'on se gare aisément. Le logement est bien équpé en casseroles et vaisselle, verres, bols... Il y a à disposition une grande terrasse où il est agréable de se poser pour le petit déjeuner, les repas et la pose café. Les draps et les serviettes sont en quantité largement suffisante pour une famille de trois personnes. Nous recommandons ce logement très agréable. Merci aux propriétaires pour leur disponibilité par mail et à la personne de contact sur place très réactif à nos demandes. Cordialement.

Un petit coin de paradis...

Nous avons passé une semaine formidable avec une mention spéciale pour la terrasse et la grande piscine! Il est clair que le magnifique parc est entretenu avec amour, agapanthes, lauriers roses, lavandes sont superbes. Si vous le souhaitez vous pouvez allez faire vos courses à pieds, le poissonnier est fantastique, le pain délicieux. Seul bémol, la propriété est tellement agréable, nous n'avions pas vraiment envie de la quitter. Nous avons toutefois passé 2 après-midi en bord de mer. Nous avons adoré le club Tiki plage et le club Agathos où la nourriture est délicieuse. Nos filles ont pu faire du paddle et étaient ravies! Seulement 10 mn en voiture depuis la propriété ... Nous avons également diné un soir au club house du golf, idéal, 5 mn à pieds et le personnel était très gentil. Vivement un prochain séjour!

Comfortable apartment with a superb terrace in a wonderful location

We had a wonderful holiday in this lovely comfortable apartment. The terrace is just superb and perfect to sit and enjoy the delights of French food and drinks. (Great local wines) try the wine shop / boucher/poissonnerie/fromagerie/Boulanger and Super U at the local Commercial Centre which is walkable. Also got great enjoyment while on the terrace watching the woodpeckers - brilliant! Agay is just a short drive away and is lovely. St Raphael is fun and we enjoyed watching the coming and goings at a few of the many cafes and restaurants. Also a favourite of ours was the beach at Aygulf. Lorene was our contact she was charming and very helpful. Thank you Lorene! We ate at Le Jardin and can highly recommend - the Valescure Golf Club is fun for drinks and morning coffee with a decent price for lunch. The pool at the residence is fantastic. We have nothing negative to say about our stay at this apartment we even got used to the small kitchen area and became experts in space management! Not a criticism we loved it and only wish we’d stayed on for another week. Thank you Tony and Denise

Absolutely fantastic!

We had a wonderful stay in rustic mews. The apartment is perfect, the terrace which runs round the little house is wonderful, we spent many hours enjoying the quiet, the view and the breeze. The pool is great, there are other children there, but for those travelling without children also perfect. We felt very much at home and will definitely return. We were sad to leave. Another positive feature is the fact that one feels that people live in the house. The whole apartment has a personal touch and is very well equipped. Contact with Tony was easy, polite and very helpful. Thank you for a wonderful holiday.

'A little piece of heaven on earth'

This rustic mews is a 'little piece of heaven on earth' situated outside Nice. It is so quaint. We really enjoyed staying here. We loved the fact that the entire place is surrounded by balcony. We ate breakfast outside every morning. The pool is gorgeous and the beach in A'gay is 5/8 minutes away by car. We ate lunch in the restaurants right on the beach which was just fabulous. We would definitely recommend this mews and We will most certainly be returning.

Holiday for 2 weeks in the summer of 2015

This was the second time we have rent the rooftop house, the firtst time was in the summer of 2014 and it was also very nice to be here, so we booked again for the summer in 2015 for two weeks. with a beautyful vieuw is the the rooftop villa really nice Also the contact with the owner is really good, he helped us with all of our questions, also the swimming pool is realy nice and good, also for litlle childerens, the villa is on a golf resort which is in quite area. My wife Denise (who is an artist) and I used to bring the kids camping to France over the years. We spent many wonderful holidays in campsites all over France but particularly loved the South of France.
When I retired although my wife still works we had more time and decided to try and buy a small place in the St.Raphael area, an area we had come to really love during our camping holidays in the South of France.

Why they chose this property

When we came across the apartment in Valescure we literally fell in love with it. It is unique with so much character and is in such a beautiful and tranquil setting. It has everything we were looking for. It also has an amazing history since it was originally a hotel and was converted to apartments about forty years ago.
We consider ourselves so lucky to have it. We now have three grandchildren and our kids love it as it is ideal for couples with small children.

What makes this property unique

Spectacular private terrace of about 150 sq. metres surrounding apartment: old world charm with modern amenities: gated residence with private secure parking: manicured gardens;
45 minutes from Nice airport, 30 minutes from Cannes, ten minutes from the nearest beach (by car) in Saint Raphael. Restaurants /shops / medical / pharmacy/ boulangerie etc withing walking distance.
Two beautiful pools one of which is pool for very small children tastefully located within gardens;
Tennis and golf within walking distance;
Lots of places to see including Massif de L'Esterel, Frejus Cathedral (Frejus is an old Roman town), Ile d'Or etc and further afield the famous Gorges de Verdun.
