Dominique was great. Shared his WhatsApp contact as soon as we booked and was available via messages throughout the trip - super nice and friendly.He made a reservation for us at a nice place nearby on the first evening which was very helpful - we didn’t have to worry about finding a good place immediately upon arrival.When we were checking out our flight was in the evening and he graciously let us check out a few hours later - which was also very convenient.The place is located 10-15min walk from the main attractions of Florence - yet it doesn’t feel like you are in a busy area, very quiet

Wonderful, spacious loft in a great location. Check in was easy, everything worked perfectly (including laundry and dishwasher) and host Dominique went well beyond the call of duty to help out and answer questions. We would recommend to our best friends - an excellent stay.

Amazing property!

Our host, Dominique, was the absolute best. He greeted us at the apartment and went over everything and answered all our questions. He made us dinner reservations for our last day in Florence, which was a standout among the many delicious meals we had. In addition, he provided recommendations for resturaunts, gelateria, caffe and tours. The apartment is adorable, thoughtfully decorated, and with it being very hot there, the air conditioners were a life-saver after long days. Dominique met us on our final day and he helped us get a taxi to the train station. He made sure our stay at his apartment would leave a positive lasting impression on us, and it did. The location is perfect and everything is within walking distance. A comfortable stay and an outstanding host, this is a 100% must book.

Wonderful stay in Florence

Best Host and Great place and Location ( right over the Ponte Vecchio)! We stayed 4 nights. Dominique the host was fantastic. He booked us Restaurant reservations our first night and the next day took us on a winery tour at a vineyard in Tuscany with a stop at Piazzale Michael Angelo overlook and church.The “loft” was a great space -clean with plenty of room.It was nice to also be able to do some laundry before the second 1/2 of our trip. Dominique was a wealth of knowledge and was always available to answer questions while I was planning our trip too. He helped us get a cab the morning we left. It was truly a great stay and Dominique was a wonderful host! We would definitely stay there again.

FLORENCE JUNE 2025 VISIT

We had a wonderful stay at this two-bedroom loft in Florence. My wife and I spent just a few days here, and it was the perfect base for our visit. The apartment is surprisingly spacious for Florence, beautifully designed, and very well equipped with everything we needed.The location is excellent—within easy walking distance to all the major sights, yet quiet and comfortable.What truly made our stay exceptional was our host, Dominique. He went above and beyond to take care of all our needs, from helping us secure reservations to offering great local recommendations that really enhanced our time in the city.We will definitely stay here again the next time we visit Florence. Highly recommended.

Amazing time in Florence!

We had a quick, but wonderful one night stay in Florence. We loved the accommodations, they were the perfect blend of old-world charm with a modern touch. The location was great for us and our family of 3 found the apartment very comfortable. Communication, check in and check out were all wonderful thanks to our host. He made us feel right at home and helped with dinner reservations at the perfect restaurant.

We would 100% recommend this property for your trip to Florence. The owner, Dominique, was an absolute pleasure to deal with. Communication was flawless and he went the extra mile to make dinner reservations and suggestions for activities and dining. The apartment was clean, comfortable and had every amenity necessary. We really appreciated its location on the other side of the river where it was a little less crowded. We would definitely stay again.

Florence Perfection

Very near Pitti Palace, Boboli Gardens and Piazza de Santo Spirito where we found the tastiest meals and most relaxing atmosphere in Florence. Ponte Vecchio and a super market are also short walks. Dominique is the best host we have ever had with VRBO. Whatever your plans, add an extra night to your stay to allow a day for a guided tour of a Chianti region villa, Chianti Classico tastings and a lunch to sample some regional offerings sure to compete for best vacation memories.

Wonderful loft in great location in Florence

We loved this charming apartment and it was perfect for 4 adults (2 couples), despite only 1 bathroom. The apartment was beautifully furnished and well supplied with everything we needed. And Dominique was very gracious and helpful. We loved it and we will be back again next time we are in Florence!

This is a True 5 Star Experience

From the initial booking with the host Dominique, to meeting us at the flat, to taking us on the most amazing vineyard tour (not a commercial one - a REAL family run, history filled family and amazing wine and food, to just being a wonderful human being, I cannot say it any clearer than “ You cannot go wrong with this listing, and the owner”. First Class! He was there with any questions we had, and the place is beautiful, it has history, but with modern conveniences in a perfect spot. We did not want to be over the bridge in the “retail” section, but we did do ALL of the tours on both sides. The location is amazing. I do not normally even fill these out, but this was as close to perfect as you could dream about. Please, if you are interested, reach out to Dominique, he is the best! You will NOT be disappointed!! And once again - do not dismiss his restaurant recommendations or the Vineyard experience. This was NOT a tourist trap. He is friends with the owners and your private tour cannot be re-created! Enjoy!!!

Cozy and Quiet Apartment with Great Host

Apartment is on a narrow cobblestone street with very little car traffic or street noise. A few interesting shops nearby. It is well located near shops, restaurants, and museums.Our host, Dominique, was very responsive and engaging. He clearly cared and tried everything possible to make our stay comfortable. That included getting us a cab to the train station during a transit strike!The apartment is one level up via stairs. Windows overlook an interior courtyard. Well decorated and roomy enough for 4 adults. We didn’t cook, but kitchen was well appointed with everything one might need. Modern bathroom with large shower. Beds were fine, loft bedroom is up a wide stairway.I highly recommend this place and would definitely return if again in Florence.

Pitti Perfect!

Our two night stay started out with some stress as my wife left her backpack in the taxi after arriving at Dominique’s home. Passport, wallet, credit cards, driver license…you get the picture. Dominique went above and beyond to track down the taxi company and communicate our issue. As we met to checkout, he accompanied us to the taxi stop where he called for a taxi. But while on the phone, he once more asked the dispatcher if a driver reported a wayward backpack. To our surprise, they located it! Dominique once more went above and beyond and coordinated a meet up at the main train station to assist us. Nothing was missing and my wife was quite emotional for having gone through the trauma and coming out the other side intact! A true gentleman and human being is Dominique!As to the property, you can’t ask for a better central location. The perfect sized home for 2-4 guests and do yourself a favor and take Dominique’s advice on restaurants!

Do yourself a favor and BOOK THIS APARTMENT! Staying here was such a great experience; the place is well equipped and beautifully renovated! It’s quiet and comfortable and just feels like home! Everything in Florence is a simple stroll away while enabling a retreat to the other side, “Oltrarno” to retire and refresh for your next adventure! The apartment on this side of Florence has many interests to explore: including restaurants, bars, cafes and a very near market square. We had a wonderful stay! Dominique is a great host with a beautiful soul! He was helpful and present while NEVER being a “helicopter owner” as places tend to be. He offers local references and AN AMAZING Tuscan winery excursion! If you have a day free, the wine excursion won’t be beat. We can’t wait to come back. Bravo Dominique, Ci Vediamo!!!

Spectacular Florence Host & Apt.!

Dominique's place is absolutely the best! Not only was it adorable but it was so well equipped with everything we could possible need (including coffee and snacks), the location was perfect and the beds were VERY comfortable. But the BEST part was Dominique himself. He is an absolute gem!! He was there to show us everything when we arrived, he checked on us multiple times during our stay, he arranged a wonderful dinner for us where we were treated like royalty and scheduled a cab for us for our departure which was a huge relief! One of our best days in Florence was a private tour given by Dominique to several famous landmarks, then to a very private tour of the Nunzi Conti Family winery & olive oil estate. Dominique acted as chauffeur, extremely knowledgeable tour guide, and delightful lunch companion at the winery. To top off the afternoon, he took us to the Florence American Cemetery and WWII Memorial. It is a beautiful property as well as an amazing and moving experience. I cannot recommend more strongly, this apartment and Dominique! Thank you Dominique for being a wonderful host! È meraviglioso! C'est merveilleux!

Firenze fest

We stayed here for almost 2 weeks. Location is super excellent, close to all the main tourist sites and all within easy walking distance. Our host was first rate, always available to answer questions, to give us ideas where to eat (and there are lots of great places to eat!) and things to see. Our host’s place became our home while we were in Florence. We felt very comfortable, very safe and very much at home in the neighborhood. A strong recommendation from us for all wanting to enjoy Florence at your pace.

Vintage apartment near Pitti Palace

From the moment Dominique met us at his apartment with his warm smile and true Firenze greeting, to our departure, our time in Firenze was memorable. The apartment is only steps away from the historical district with many bars and restaurants in the area. The apartment was a peaceful haven after a busy day of sightseeing and shopping. The tasteful decor mixed with modern amenities was a pleasure to enjoy. Dominique’s recommendation for dinner at Osteria dell’Olio was well worth it. We will definitely recommend Pitti Loft to our friends and keep it in mind for our next visit to Firenze.

Perfect stay in Florence!

We stayed in Florence for a couple days during our vacation to Italy. But wanted to be somewhere other than a hotel to be able to relax and enjoy our time there. This is one of the most perfectly located places to stay and is great for 4 adults with the 2 rooms. The place is spotless and has everything you need. And the history and care shown to the upgrades made is even better. But the best part was the host. His communication leading up to our stay and during was one of the best I’ve ever had. Made us feel like we were visiting family. 100% recommend and would stay there again.

I have travelled quite a lot in my previous carreer. I am very fond of languages. I do speak several ones as I have always lived in different countries and worked with different people belonging to various countries and cultures. My wife Sondra and I have three children. They study at College and at University. I, together with Sondra, enjoy this job taking care at all times of our guests, starting in the booking process, then upon check-in, during their stay arranging, among other things, winery tours with wine & olive oil tasting and upon check-out, ordering for them a taxi, if necessary. We really feel very committed to them. I am also a consultant in a different field but this rental activity is really the one that gives me more pleasure and a great deal of satisfaction. We meet all sorts of interesting people and my natural sense of hospitaity makes me feel almost instantaneously close to them . My motto is "come as a guest and leave as a friend!". That is the reason why we spend all the time and the effort necessary to our guests who deserve the best they can expect from a special City like Florence and from our home. We alway make sure and remind ourselves that our guest HAPPINESS and COMFORT are our top priority!

We are lucky to live in one of the most beautiful city in the world. For this reason our wish was that our friends and travelers could enjoy a holiday in a Home, accurately restored with refined pieces of furniture that belonged to antique Florentine Homes. The Florence Pitti Loft is situated in the heart of the most exclusive area of Florence: L' OLTRARNO, typical historical district of Florence between PIAZZA PITTI and its BOBOLI GARDENS and PIAZZA SANTO SPIRITO. The Loft is quiet, charming and elegant. Florence Pitti Loft is located on the first floor ( second for Americans) of an XV century building with historical impressive features but has at the same time all the modern amenities you can think of. It is ideal on vacation or on a business trip as it is near all the best that Florence can offer, making our dear guests feel "at home" in this amazing and beautiful city.

We are always available to help our guests starting in the booking process and upon check-in and of course, during their vacation for anything they may need in order to make their stay very enjoyable and memorable.
I am sure that our guest behaviour will be exemplary and good-mannered and that they will leave the apartment in good conditions. We are very grateful to them for it.
