At the Port de la Houle, you can enjoy a historic fisherman’s cottage that has been renovated to preserve the spirit of the Cap-Horniers, fully furnished and decorated, with 150 m² of living space spread over two floors. The Hippocampe residence can accommodate up to 10 people in its 5 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. It includes all the comforts you need: beds, mattresses, comforters, pillows, a TV, and appliances such as an oven, microwave, fridge-freezer, and dishwasher…

From the bright balcony, adorned with magnificent 1-meter-tall bronze seahorses and offering a direct view of the sea, you can see Mont Saint-Michel at the far end of the bay while enjoying oysters.

The Hippocampe residence is ideally located on the Brittany coast, near the walled city of Saint-Malo, just a few kilometers from Mont Saint-Michel and its bay, Cap Fréhel, Dinan, and the Rance Valley, and one hour from the Forest of Brocéliande. It boasts an exceptional and privileged setting.

If you’re coming for a cultural getaway, you’ll be close to all the region’s major heritage sites.

If you’re coming for a culinary getaway, Cancale is home to the best restaurants in Brittany, including “Le Coquillage” by the famous Michelin-starred chef Roellinger.

The Hippocampe residence has ultra-high-speed fiber-optic internet and Wi-Fi coverage on both floors, making it ideal for telecommuting in peace or for small workshop groups.

Description of L’Hippocampe:
• First floor: Living room/lounge, open-concept fully equipped kitchen, balcony opening directly onto the beach. Two bedrooms (140x190 beds), bathroom, toilet
• Second floor: Two bedrooms (140x190 beds) with ocean view + one bedroom (2 bunk beds, 90x190), bathroom, toilet

• During certain periods and exclusively for guests of L’Hippocampe, it is possible to rent an additional room with three adult beds (1x140 + 1x90), a bathroom, and a locked garage (for one car) adjoining the first floor is available for an additional fee (50 €/night). There are never two guests staying in the residence at the same time.

• Right next to the beaches and shops.

Sheets and pillowcases can be rented for an additional fee (€20/week per 140 set – €15/week for 90)
For babies, you’ll find a travel crib, a high chair, a baby bathtub, and a baby bouncer.

• Parking: The free parking lot at the Port is a 15-minute walk away.
• To make your outings easier, public transportation (summer shuttle) is available to take you to certain beaches (Port Mer, Pointe du Grouin, etc.) as well as to Saint-Malo or Mont Saint-Michel.
• Small pets allowed with the owner’s permission.
• For hikers, the Customs Officers’ Trail (GR34) starts right at the foot of the house.

Rates for L’Hippocampe range from 150 to 220 € per night + 80 € cleaning fee + 3.3% tourist tax + Vrbo fees
