In the heart of the historic centre of Uzès, with one of the most beautiful stone facades of the town, this historical 17th century town house, renovated in 2020, has splendid views of the paved streets & rooftops of the Duchy. The 100m2 duplex flat in this ancestral building is an idyllic place to stay & take time to admire the splendour of the local architecture. The interior provides a contemporary and comfortable living space on two floors. The accommodation "la Fenestrelle" of the Maison de Roche, Historic town house with a duplex flat located a few steps away from the famous Place aux Herbes and it's renowned market. The duplex includes 2 double bedrooms, a bathroom with bath and shower, separate WC. A dining room, a living room with TV, a modern & well equipped kitchen (oven, fridge freezer, induction hob, microwave, dishwasher), a washing machine, WIFI access. A rooftop terrace provides an outdoor eating space with view over Uzès. A peaceful & hidden gem in the heart of Uzès ! Possibility to rent a separate 42m2 flat in the same building increasing the capacity to 6 people (upon availability). During the Covid 19 pandemic, a strict cleaning & disinfection protocol is carried out between each rental. The appartement, on the 2nd and 3rd floors of the town house, is accessible from the ground floor via an interior staircase and corridor. The entire duplex is at your disposal and in addition you will be able to dine outside and enjoy the views from the private 12m2 rooftop terrace. Free car parking is available close by.

Lovely apartment in the heart of Uzes

Two story apartment with good size rooms and very clean. Each room was comfortable and functional. They were decorated simply, but they all had charm. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen was great. My husband had some difficulties, at times, as he is 6’5”. Some of the doorways and the stairs required him to duck. The shower was also a bit small for him. But we loved our stay and Jean Luc was always responsive and available. We would love to stay again!

Super apartment. Beautiful city. Difficult parking.

Very well equiped, nicely renovated, spacious apartment. Friendly host. But NO parking on site as promised and difficult acces and parking in the streets. The host's instructions were hard to benefit from in the stress of the traffic - the host left (to other clients) before our arrival. The apartment has several levels with a bit difficult steps.

A very modern apartment in a medieval setting

We stayed four days and the apartment lived up to its lovely pictures and had every convenience. The location is superb near the plaza which is the heart of the city. The two sets of very steep stairs should preclude any renters who are not fit and able bodied. That said, my husband and I are both 80 and we managed. Also, Jean Luc, the owner, carried all our luggage up and down on arrival and departure. He was very easy to contact if we had questions.

Très bien situé au centre historique d'Uzès

Ce logement est grand et confortable, à deux pas de la Place aux Herbes. Vous aurez tout ce qu'il vous faut pour préparer un excellent repas après avoir profité du marché!

Très belle location

Maison très bien équipée, spacieux avecvue sur la vieille ville. Cuisine parfaitement équipée et très agréable. Chambres grandes et confortables. Apparemment très bien situé, a l'entrée de la vieille ville, très proche de la place des épices. Jean luc est un hôte très accueillant et très prévenant. On recommande.

Stunning Uzes!

The property has been renovated with great attention to detail and thoughtfulness. Very well equipped with a top end fit out in the kitchen and bathroom. Real value for money. A very attentive host ( English speaking) ,willing to help with all questions and a comprehensive folder containing information for the apartment and the area. Highly recommend.

Très bel appartement au coeur d'Uzes

Idéalement situé au coeur d'uzes, moderne et très propre, nous avons passé une superbe semaine dans ce logement. Vous y trouverez entre autre de grandes chambres, une très jolie salle de bain, une cuisine parfaitement équipée et une petite terrasse adorable nichée entre les toits. Jean Luc est un hôte formidable, d'une très grand gentillesse, accommodant, discret et il regorge de bons conseils sur la région. Pour nous c'est un sans faute et nous recommandons sincèrement cet appartement.
