CANTERAS BEACH VIEW ATTIC LOFT

Spectacular 40m2 loft located at first line at Canteras Beach, Las Palmas.
It features two splendorous terraces, one of them facing west with direct view on the beach and almost 60m2 big, and the other one of 45m2 overlooks the harbor on the east side.
The loft is specially designed for tall people, having a 220x150 cm bed and a 110cm high kitchen counter and sink. It has one of the greatest views available, is quiet and sunny all day round.
This is not the typical standard apartment you usually find for rent, I finished it with much love and many details to live in it myself, but now I am renting it out for some time, and therefore I look for for thoughtful people who will treat it carefully.
It is the only attic of the building, so you have to walk up one floor through the stairway after having taken the elevator to the top. This means you have no direct neighbors of the same building on the same floor, which guarantees you more privacy and quietness.
Both terraces feature high-class artificial lawn, which gives you a very comfy feeling!
As you may know, tap water on the Canaries is generally not drinkable, so I have installed a reverse-osomosis water depuration system which gives you excellent drinking water right out of a special tap. This avoids you carrying bottled water from the supermarket to the attic.
For environmental reasons, hot water is provided through a solar panel on the rooftop.
300 MB fiber optics ultra fast wifi internet access and Satellite TV with over 800 channels included.

Great Views, Well Organised

We very much enjoyed this stay. Our host Oliver was very responsive. The apartment was very clean and tidy and the location was great. The main open area to the front has a fantastic view over Las Canteras beach. The kitchen is well equipped. We'd happily stay here again.

Perfekter Urlaub

Die Wohnung war genauso, wie beschrieben. Morgens konnte man auf der einen Terrasse den Sonnenaufgang genießen, abends auf der anderen Terrasse den Sonnenuntergang. Die Wohnung ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht und es waren auch noch viele Verbrauchsartikel dort, sodass wir nichts kaufen mussten

It's the perfect accomodation

First thing is to talk about Oliver. He's the type of accommodation owner you want to deal with every time. Such a nice man. Very genuine and instantly likeable as a person. No language difficulties as his English is excellent Oliver offered to pick us up from the airport for a fee that is definitely cheaper than a taxi. This made the transfer so easy. Our flight was late but he was still there waiting. He also took us back to the airport. This meant no car hire was needed. I would do this every time as it just made everything stress free. The accommodation is just amazing. It felt like we'd managed to get the best properly in the city. It was very clean and modern. Everything exactly how you want it. Modern working kitchen. Comfortable bed and living room space with TV. Not that we used the TV. Everything you need for self catering. Oliver showed us round the apartment and how everything works. There are 2 outside areas. One faces the city to the east and the other the Atlantic. We only used one. The Atlantic one is just amazing. It's high up and can see for miles. We sat out every evening eating and drinking while watching the sun set. If you self cater it's like eating in your own private five star restaurant from the location and view you have while eating. The beach is right in front of the property. It's a great sandy beach which gets smoothed over during the night. The beach was active but not over crowded at all. It also felt safe. Lots of families around. The Sun hits the terrace pretty much all day but you always have shade in one. As an all-round experience it's a perfect couples get away. It's also away from the normal brit tourist destination in the south of the island so you are with the Spanish. Shopping was easy as the super market is 2 minutes away and has everything. There's loads of eating and drinking places so you can have great nights out or lovely times in with the spectacular view We definitely want to go again and wouldn't look to book any other accommodating. Beste Lage. Blitzsauber. Perfekt eingerichtet. Super Gastgeber. Wunderschöne Terrassen..

Besser geht's nicht: traumhafte Lage mit zwei großen Terrassen, eine mit Blick auf Strand und Meer, die andere mit Blick auf den Hafen. Das Apartment ist perfekt eingerichtet und blitzsauber. Wir haben uns total wohl gefühlt. Oliver ist ein super sympathischer Gastgeber. Er hat uns vom Flughafen abgeholt und sich um alles gekümmert. Die Kommunikation mit ihm war hervorragend. Das Apartment ist ideal gelegen: Restaurants, Supermärkte und Bäcker gleich nebenan. Man braucht kein Auto. Auch Bushaltestellen sind schnell zu erreichen. Wir freuen uns schon jetzt auf den nächsten Urlaub in diesem schönen Apartment. Vielen Dank für alles, lieber Oliver!!!

Stopp, weiter suchen zwecklos - besser geht nicht

Falls es frei ist (leider ist es das meistens nicht) bucht es. Eine weitere Suche könnt ihr euch sparen es ist reiner Zeitverlust. Etwas besseres gibt es nicht in Las Palmas. Wohnung - super Einrichtung - super Lage - super Aussicht - super Gastgeber - super Im letzten Jahr war ich beruflich mehrer Male in Las Palmas und habe diverse Wohnungen gemietet. Die Wohnung von Oliver ist und bleibt meine erste Option für weitere Aufenthalte. Danke Oliver und bis zum nächsten Mal.

Stunning luxury apartment and views

What an amazing apartment! Lovely 5 days away. We took Oliver up on his deal to pick up us from airport in his vintage Lincoln Continental. Great way to start our holiday. The views on both sides of the apartment are completely amazing. The attention to detail in the spotless apartment; the quality binoculars to watch the beach life, luxury coffee machine, auto water filter tap, quality mattress and pillows and easy alarm system made our stay so very comfortable. Thanks Oliver, we will be back!

Lage und Ausstattung des Lofts lassen keine Wünsche offen! Unübertrefflich ist die direkte Strandlage mit Markthalle, Busstation, Restaurants und Einkaufmöglichkeiten um die Ecke. Oliver ist ein aufmerksamer Gastgeber, es fehlte an nichts, ob Flughafentransfer, Ausflugsangebote, Ausstattung der Wohnung uvm. Hervorzuheben ist auch seine Erreichbarkeit vor Ort. Danke!

Un séjour FANTASTIQUE!!!

We hadden een fantastisch verblijf in Las Palmas! Prachtige ligging en een schitterende loft/studio. Het verblijf is gelegen aan de mooiste en de meest levendige kant van de Playa de las Canteras, met veel leuke, gezellige en lekkere restaurants en terrasjes. De loft zelf is super comfortabel en luxueus ingericht, met veel oog voor details. Werkelijk alles is aanwezig om een leuk verblijf te garanderen. Niet in het minst de twee prachtige terrassen met een prachtig uitzicht op de baai aan de voorzijde en de haven aan de achterzijde. Oliver was zeer gastvrij, toegewijd en behulpzaam. En wist ons zelfs met de transfer naar de luchthaven te verrassen met een ritje in zijn old-timer American Continental Car. If you go to Las Palmas, stay by Oliver!

Really first class accommodation

We couldn't have asked for better! Wonderfully appointed overlooking the classier end of Canteras beach... lulled to sleep by the gentle lapping of the waves....this apartment has everything a couple could want and is beatifully equipped. Oliver is a perfect host, not over the top but completely genuine and with a plethora of knowledge and advice about Gran Canaria. He arranged cheap parking garage for our hire car and recommended some really great restaurants and things to do. If the weather is cloudy.. head south... if it's really sunny do not miss the chance to get up into the mountains.. if you like fish go to Amigo Camilo around the corner. Above all enjoy sitting out on the huge balcony sipping a gin and watching the world go by on Canteras beach.

Erstklassiges Penthaus in toller Lage

Wer Stadtstrände mag, wird für 2 Personen kaum etwas Besseres finden können. Alles in diesem Appartement ist mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet inklusive der hochwertigen Unterhaltungselektronik und der erstklassig eingerichteten Küche. Es gibt eine große moderne Dusche mit Glasabtrennung. Allerdings reicht das winzige Waschbecken in der Toilette nur zum Rasieren und Zähneputzen wirklich geeignet. Die Keramik und die Armaturen sind wie Alles hier erstklassig. Die große Terrasse mit Aussicht über den gesamten Las Cantrerasstrand ist mit ihren Loungemöbeln ein phantastischer Platz zum Chillen, Lesen oder einfach die Aussicht genießen. Schön wäre ein Essplatz auf der Terrasse. aber wie wir den Gastgeber kennengelernt haben, der im Übrigen sehr hilfreich und engagiert ist, wird der das irgendwann auch noch lösen. Der Fahrstuhl endet in der 6. Etage und zum Penthaus führt eine etwas enge und relativ steile Treppe. Für Menschen mit Schwierigkeiten beim Treppensteigen könnte das ein Hindernis sein. Wir kommen wieder.

Unglaublich toll

Hallo Oliver, nun sind wir wieder zurück im Alltag und erinnern uns sehr an Las Palmas! Leider hatten wir uns letzlich für ein Hotel in Las Palmas entschieden und nicht Dein Domizil gebucht, was ein Fehler war. Das der Zufall uns dann doch bekannt gemacht hat, finden wir als besonderes Glück. So konntest Du uns die Ferienwohnung zeigen und wir haben sofort unsere Buchung bereut! Sensationell war, dass Du uns betreut hast, als wäre wir Deine Gäste. Restaaurants, Sehenwürdigkeiten, Insider-Tips, das Angebot für eine persönliche Stadt und Inselführung, auch das es Dich wirklich interessiert hat, dass wir einen schönen Urlaub hatten. Wir können nur Dank Dank Danke sagen und sicher ist, wir kommen wieder nach Las Palmas und werden mit vergnügen Deine Wohnung mieten. Wir feuen uns schon Herzliche Grüße Elke & Erwin

Erholung Pur

Das von Oliver liebevoll und mit Geschmack eingerichtete Loft liess keine Wünsche übrig. Nachdem wir von unserem Gastgeber an Flughafen abgeholt wurden hat er uns seine Wohnung gezeigt und alle "Gadgets" erklärt, von der Kaffeemaschine über den Sattelitenfernseher bis hin zur Alarmanlage. Das allerschönste aber war die Lage und der Blick über das Meer. Aus jeder Ecke konnte man das Meer sehen, es waren überall grosse Fenster und die Terrassen sind einmalig. Man konnte sich es auch mal "nur" auf der Terrasse gut gehen lassen, deshalb war der Erholungsfaktor für uns super. Nachts sich vom Rauschen der Meeresbrandung in den Schlaf wiegen zu lassen war wunderschön, ebenso wie die Sonnenauf- und untergänge auf der Terrasse zu geniessen. Las Canteras ist wohl einer der schönsten Stadtstrände weltweit und liegt einem direkt zu Füssen. In Las Canteras kann man nebst Baden auch sehr schön schlendern, eines der unzähligen Standcafés und Restaurants besuchen oder die vielen Boutiquen anschauen. Nennenswert ist auch der Parque Santa Catalina, wo nicht nur eine Busstation ist, sondern auch viele kleine Restaurants und Sonntagvormittag findet dort ein (Floh-) Markt statt. Eine Markthalle (Mercado del Puerto) befindet sich in nächster Nähe zum Loft. Dort kann man die Früchte zum Frühstück einkaufen, Bäckereien gibt es 3-4 gleich um die Ecke. Die Altstadt von Las Palmas bietet auch einiges, schöne alte Häuser, Kirche und Museen. Ebenso ist ein Besuch der Calle Triana, der berühmten Shoppingstrasse empfehlenswert. Nebst wunderschönen, gepflegten Häusern findet man dort alle bekannten Modemarken und in den Seitenstrassen kleinere, interessante Geschäft. Auch die Läden um den "Plaza Espagna" herum, welcher in Gehdistanz ist, sind ein Besuch wert. Eine Bushaltestelle ist wenige Meter vom Loft entfernt, Taxi sind allerdings oft beinahe so günstig. Ein besonderer Tipp von Oliver war das Fischrestaurant "Camilo" ca. 5 Gehminuten vom Loft entfernt. Dort haben wir einen fantastischen Fisch gegessen, ausserdem sehr günstig. Auf Oliver's Rat hin sind wir einen Ausflug nach Maspalomas zu den berühmten Dünen gemacht. Wenn man selbst nicht autofahren mag, gibt es ein sehr gut ausgebautes Busnetz, eine Busfahrt in den Süden dauert etwas 1 Stunde. Die Dünen waren sehenswert, aber ansonsten ist es für uns Las Palmas alleweil. Im Süden sieht man praktisch nur Touristen, kaum Einheimische und die Hotelkästen sind auch nicht gerade von grossem Charme. Anytime again!

Spektakuläres Loft ...

Bezaubernder Blick auf Strand und Hafen ... mit sehr viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet ... ! So beschreibt Oliver sein Domizil hoch über dem Canteras Strand und es stimmt zu 100 % ! Die Wohnung ist ein optimaler Ausgangsort, die Stadt und die ganze Insel zu erkunden. Der Busbahnhof ist zentral und nah. Ja, und dann Oliver: So wie er das Attic-Loft wunderbar und liebevoll geplant und eingerichtet hat, so umfassend und hilfreich sind seine Betreuung, seine Tipps und seine Anregungen: Ein super netter Gastgeber eben ! Fantastic apartment in great location

Amazing immaculate apartment with high spec equipment for all your needs. Overlooking the beach with outdoor roof areas to both sides giving you all day round sunshine if you want to spend time at the apartment itself. Oliver couldn't be any more helpful, from pre holiday communication to picking us up at the airport to showing us the best restaurants everything was made easy from start to finish.

Ein Traum!

Also falls jemand mal ein paar Tage auf Gran Canaria verbringen möchte, ist dieses Loft DER Tipp! An den Bildern ist nichts geschönt und Oliver ist dazu noch ein super netter Gastgeber. Die Ausstattung ist unglaublich, die Lage perfekt und dazu zwei riesige Ost- und Westterrassen, einmal Richtung Strand und einmal Richtung Hafen. Ein Traum!
