Casa Tzampoc ligger inbäddat på en kulle med utsikt över 3 vulkaner som skapade sjön Atitlan. Det ligger mellan Maya byarna Santa Catarina Palopo och San Antonio Palopo och bredvid två av de mest prestigefyllda boutique hotell på sjön. Restauranger och fantastisk shopping för lokalt hantverk ligger några minuter bort i autentiska Maya byar och den större staden Panajachel.

Huset är inrett uteslutande med antika och handgjorda möbler, lokala textilier, keramik och hantverk. Köket är fullt utrustad för en gourmet kock, som kan ordnas. Det inre utrymmet är åtskilda av ett atrium och trappor till privata sovrum och badrum områden. Det finns utsikt över vulkaner och utanför områden från alla rum genom vackra mahogny fönster och dörrar.

Den privata poolen, inbäddat i trädgården, värms upp av solpaneler och underhålls varje dag av Nicholas, vår Houseman. Huset är vackert hålls varje morgon av Suli, vår städerska.

Amazing Family vacation rental!

Everything about our stay was wonderful! The house is exactly as described, except words and pictures do not do the picturesque view justice. My children loved the private pool. Daniel, the concierge/manager, was so helpful and responsive. Teresa cooked us a delicious breakfast each morning and it was a great way to start the day. Highly recommend this property.

Waking up to volcano views

Book it! Absolutely amazing place, location, service, food. Every room has a view and outdoor access. Nicolas, Daniel, Ramiro, and the cleaning lady were all top notch. Booking lanchas and tours with them were a breeze and cheaper/on par for pricing. Couldn’t have asked for a better stay!

Wow

What a wonderful stay! The property has the most amazing view! They go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable. Fresh flowers, a clean everyday, pool towels. Daniel is awesome and very helpful. He will help you with anything! We loved teresa and would highly recommend getting breakfast cooked for you ! The masseuse was also fantastic.My only complaint is the maintenance man came into the property quite a bit. Sometimes six times a day. It just didn’t feel quite as private as we wanted.Book this place you won’t regret it!

Beautiful property

My husband and I have been lucky enough to stay at many beautiful properties over the years and place is at the top of the list. The grounds keeper Nico and house keeper Theresa are hard working and couldn't be nicer. Communication with the property manager was great and he set up transportation, massages and a chef prepared dinner for us, all wonderful. The driveway leading to the property is very steep. This is something to consider, but would not deter us from staying here again. Abner put us in touch with Romero who drove us here and there when we needed and his truck had no problem navigating the hill. Side note, most destinations in this area are on a steep hill because of the topography of the area.

Great place to stay (except for driveway)

First of all, the house is beautiful, and very nicely appointed. Even more impressed, the view is spectacular. The patios were spacious with plenty of seating options. The pool was very clean well kept up. The inside & outside fireplaces were already set up with wood which was a nice touch. The service is excellent. Daniel, the property mgr was very responsive and super helpful. Teresa, Ramiro and Nico were also very helpful. The reason we didn’t give it 5 stars is because getting up and down the driveway is treacherous. To be fair they were there to assist us, but it was still very difficult to navigate. Some more minor issues include; pans & cookware need refreshing, no pool towels, BBQ grill is on its last legs, several of the doors and windows stuck and more bathroom towels would be nice. I really don’t want to scare you away. It’s a beautiful property and very enjoyable once you get up and down the driveway. Just be aware.

The home we stayed in was exceptionally beautiful and full with local textiles. There was so much detail. My mother said it was the most beautiful house she had been in. The property coordinator was very helpful and tentative. The driver was very pleasant….. and Teresa!! We wanted to take her home. She is so sweet and joyful. Thank you

Dificultad para llegar

Llegar a la casa en auto es casi imposible. Debería estar escrito entre las características de la casa para poder tomar la decisión de llegar en auto o buscar solución. La piscina estaba sucia. El empleado que se supone ayuda en la casa no estuvo en la casa y no ayudó con las maletas ni nada Por ese precio creo que no recomiendo la casa.

Beautiful house beautiful view

The views of the Lake are impeccable. House was well stocked completely clean. I would highly recommend this house. I especially appreciated the concierge help for planning our lake day, shuttles to and from Lake Atitlán, this alone was very important in our trip. Relax and take in the magic of Lago Atitlán in this great spot!

Beautiful home!

We celebrated my mother’s birthday at the Lake and this home was amazing! All of the staff were super helpful and friendly. Whenever I had questions, the concierge Abner, was only a text away. I would recommend this place to anyone who’s stays in this area.

Stunningly gorgeous views of the lake & beautiful property!

I highly recommend this property. The views were out of this world amazing, the house was large and fully stocked. The outdoor areas & the landscaping were gorgeous! All of the staff were so friendly and helpful. Nothing but great things to say, you won’t regret staying here.

Amazing views and relaxing getaway.

My 5 friends and I had a wonderful week stay celebrating my birthday. The staff (Teresa, Nicolas, Milton, and Ramiro) and concierge (Daniel) were so friendly, helpful, and kind. Even though the house is a little remote, we always felt like we were a text message away from getting what we needed. The house is beautiful and fully stocked with everything you need. We took advantage of the services that were provided like the traditional Guatemalan breakfast and dinner cooked by the talented chefs. The massages were euphoric and definitely worth it. We loved the cozy fireplaces both indoor and outdoor, and used them daily. I would highly recommend this gorgeous house.

Absolutely GORGEOUS!!

The best house in Santa Catarina… we absolutely fell in love with the house. The view was heavenly. We loved all of the attention from the people who helped us, Daniel, Ramiro y doña Teresa, very fine people. The entire stay was wonderful! Astonishing house!! Super clean!

Pleasant Stay

Great House with a Stunning View

The Lake Atitlan house was clean, comfortable and well appointed. Daniel, our concierge, was very helpful and Teresa was very sweet and did a great job cleaning for us. We were unable to drive our Van Rental up the steep hill, but, Ramiro always provided prompt, safe and courteous rides up and down whenever needed. The view was spectacular! And we enjoyed every minute of our stay! Many thanks to you all!!!

Highly Recommended!

The host Daniel is so attentive to the guest with super fast response times via WhatsApp. He literally got back to me within a couple mins regarding any request we had. The staff was so kind and kept the house clean. The staffs chefs all cooked amazing food. This house is just as beautiful as depicted in the photos.

One of the most beautifully views in the entire country

We stayed in a lot of hotels and a lot of houses in our week trip. This was hands down the most beautiful, luxurious house we stayed at. The services were amazing as well. We had a private Chef and private masseuse come to the house. We were a little under the weather and had to cancel our private boat trip but the concierge was extremally helpful and coordinated everything over whats app. He even had the private chef cook us some chicken noodle soup which was soooo amazing. I only wish I had booked more days and had more time to experience the area.
