Negatives
Restrictions on use of the pool not advertised (hosts said we should have checked before booking, really along with can we use the doors, kitchen, bathroom a none sense), you can only use it Sunday to Friday 10:00hr to 12:30hr and 15:00hr to 18:30hr and no access early afternoon or on Saturday, indicated to us when we were there the restricted times are reserved for the hosts and they told us to move on one occasion
Alsatian dog can be left to roam the grounds unsupervised
Gite is looking tired, patio doors only one worked and walls cracked signs of work, signs of screw plugs etc
Kitchen is small not really suitable for four people staying, just about OK for us with 2
Shower is a hand held unit not a hands free stand under
Shower is tiny and fitted into the sloping eves, head room is an issue, at 6'3 I had to shower with a stoop. Maybe 5'10 of head room without standing right next to the doors
Communication with the host is OK but you send a text and they send an e-mail back, you would send a text back surely, we arrived early as I had asked the arrival time, no access to e-mail hence text
It is a little too far out so not that good for big days in the mountains, biking, hiking
Noise travels very easily through the complex, other guests/owners can be heard, if you like quiet take note
