Set on 20 secluded acres on a sleepy gravel road, this hilltop retreat is designed for slowing down - morning coffee with the sunrise, afternoons exploring, and evenings soaking in the hot tub.

The Moore Overlook delivers peace without isolation and comfort without clutter.

Enjoy playing pool in the finished basement, and grilling on either the propane or charcoal grill in addition to the fully equipped kitchen.

the photos don't do this place justice! This place is so beautiful and peaceful. The hot tub was so warm and the bed was super comfy. The pool table definitely has been loved so be careful when using it.

Anyone looking for something off the beaten path ("escape" from the world aka/"rural") but only approx an hour away from things to do, this rental is a great place to stay! It's far bigger than my husband & I needed (we usually stay at less expensive, 1 bdr VRBO's) but I picked this one specifically for it's hot tub & fireplace ... & "bonus" basement pool table (in case of incliametint weather). Turns out we never left the rental ...we had an easy two and a half drive here, followed by a Massive winter storm across all of NY State (bad snow, ice & "Winter Advisories" in every direction) and we laughed as we watched the snow turn into ice in my hair while we "weathered" the storm from the hot tub; then enjoyed the gorgeous sunsets through the huge picture window as we warmed up in front of the fireplace. A special "Thank You" to the owners (Matt was a pleasure to speak with on the phone when I needed to communicate something) for having the fireplace ready to light up when we walked in... even the pool table was "racked" & ready to play! The amount of "staples" & cooking "gear" in the kitchen was almost overwhelming (I dare you to try to "miss" something you need to cook while there) & things like the plastic wrap & coffees/teas & sugar options were all greatly appreciated, along with the easily accessible & endless supply of firewood. We also found the bed & sheets to be both cozy & comfortable. Thank you for a perfect "stay in/lay low/rest & relax" Christmas!

Nice and remote

Was definitely remote and little traffic on the road, hot tub was awesome, fireplace was great as it was a cold weekend. Home was comfortable and the owners were very nice and quick to respond to any questions/concerns that we had.

Wonderful Remote Get-away

The house if fully equipped, very clean, and comfortable. The location is remote but easily reached off the Interstate. If you like a quiet location...this is it.

Awesome View from a hilltop quiet setting

The view from the comfy living room seating is one that makes this place great! We did not spend much time here other than nights since were in the area to be at our friend's place during the day. The king size bed was very comfortable and that mainly what we needed for this stay.

Great view and secluded

We felt completely secluded at this property, while only being 20 minutes from supermarkets/stores/restaurants. The property was very comfortable and clean. If you are looking for a private getaway from it all, THIS IS THE PLACE FOR YOU.

Perfect getaway

Perfect spot to take grandchildren. They enjoyed every minute sleigh riding on the slopes outside the house. We were able to visit family and friends, with all the comforts of home.

Perfect weekend

We wanted a place to get away for the weekend and enjoy the fall foliage. This place was perfect for that! The view was amazing, the hot tub made for a relaxing afternoon and the bed was so comfortable that I got the best night of sleep in years! Everything was clean and ready to go! I would highly recommend this place.

Perfect Getaway

Beautiful little home with a gorgeous view all day long. The home was clean and the game room kept us entertained for hours. Really loved the fireplace, especially on those snowy nights. A very secluded, and peaceful, slice of paradise.

We love hospitality and have several vacation rentals in the area. We both grew up in the area, married after being high school sweethearts, and have raised our 8 children here on our farm after living in New York and Virginia. We have traveled the world, but find no place like home.

We are an enterprising family, and we have raised our children to embrace responsibility. All of our vacation homes are close enough for us to clean them as a family.
