This beautiful Gulf-front vacation rental includes patio doors in the living room leading to a private balcony that provides a spectacular view of the Gulf of Mexico. Pickleball courts are also nearby, so grab your paddles and have a friendly game together. Other features of this cozy beach inspired vacation rental include a full-size refrigerator, cooktop stove, and oven, microwave, and dishwasher, along with all the dishes, pots and utensils needed to prepare and serve meals. The bathroom includes a tub and a vanity, light fixture and cabinets. The living room has a TV with a DVD player and a VCR while the bedroom has a TV.

Things to Know
Complimentary beach service of one umbrella and two chairs is offered from March 1 through October 31. Paddleboards, kayaks, and bicycles are available for an additional charge.
All guests regardless of age are to be considered for Occupancy count in Fort Walton Beach, FL

Great location and great views

Location is great! The condo was nice and was very clean when we arrived. The beach access is a short walk, which is perfect, and the chair/umbrella beach service was awesome too. We'll definitely go again!

Slice of heaven

The balcony view of the ocean was amazing. Loved sitting there with morning coffee or evening drinks just listening to the waves. It’s a quaint and comfortable place.

We liked the open floor plan and view for the cost. It was inconvenient not having a washer and dryer in the room, and it needed doors or curtains on the bedroom closet. Overall we did enjoy our stay. It seemed renovated, and it had everything we needed in the kitchen.

Should have been closed for renovation noise

The new updates were nice, esp in the bathroom area. We do miss the games that used to be available in the living room though. Unfortunately there was loud jackhammering going on right outside our door most mornings and VERY early, this really effected our sleep and peace. I feel like all rooms near the noise should not be made available at those times, it isn't fair to your guests. They did give us a partial very small discount, but had we known we would be dealing with so much construction noise we would have stayed elsewhere.

Peoperty grounds was great, lots of aminities. Really nice pool stunning views. Room wise, the hot water in the shower did not turn off all the way so it dripped constantly and the mattress in the bedroom was worn/broken and sank in, in the middle. Other than those 2 things the room was clean and spacious, balcony was great, views were amazing.

Everything was absolutely great. The view from the balcony over looking the water was perfect. The beach service providing 2 chairs and an umbrella set up each day was awesome. The only bad thing is the bed. The middle of the bed is sunk in really bad and you roll to the center. Very bad. Need a new mattress! Then it would be perfect

Review of my stay

The property was great and the beach and area wonderful. The only complaint I have is that I was not notified of construction in the unit next door that woke us every morning. We should have gotten a heads up to make the choice to rent or not. I was refunded some of my money for this. Updates should be done in the off season, not the July 4th holiday break.

The location on the 3rd floor and view from the balcony was beautiful and the unit was clean; however the bed was so uncomfortable, I was forced to sleep on the couch. We would recommend a new mattress and box springs. There was no support, especially for 2 people. Other than the bed, everything else was fine.

If you want a comfortable nights sleep DO NOT RENT THIS UNIT. The mattress has a slope in the middle. I checked back at the reviews and prior tenants have been complaining about it. The water was out for a day in the whole building. Vacasa management company was not very helpful during that time

Great view!

Great view! The recent update to the bed definitely worked because we slept great all week! There was a very strong "musty" odor in the entire condo when we first arrived but it seemed to dissipate as the week went on. It was nice to see a great selection of books to read as well. Some minor repairs are needed to the floors and cabinetry but nothing major. Some suggestions would be to have sheets and blankets available for the fold out bed, some extra blankets in general, and perhaps a guest book for guests to sign and tell their experiences while staying in Destin. 🙂. Some Vacasa suggestions would be to not let guests take dumbbells out of the gym (the mates to most sets were missing), not let people smoke at all on the property (every time we tried to enjoy the balcony someone else was smoking on theirs and it wafted over to us), and to have a better system for the beach chair rentals (people would "claim" chairs in the front row in the early morning with a towel and then never show up all day or most of the day long which isn't fair to the rest of us wanting a chair to sit in). The free beach chairs and umbrella are great though if you're lucky enough to grab them. Overall a great trip and relatively quiet property even though it was spring break week. Will definitely return! 🙂

Perfect vacation

Condo was clean, bright & airy. Very comfortable. Right on the beach with amazing view of gulf. Beach set up is a definite bonus. Unit does need updating. It is dated. Overall though it was the perfect location & vacation spot.

Perfect for two

This was the perfect size for us at an affordable price. The condo is located right on the beach - awesome view - walk out right on to the beach. Most importantly, It was spic and span clean!!! My suggestions are to update it - it is dated, and to add a ceiling fan to the bedroom.

The condo had beautiful views and seemed to be pretty clean. It was a bit out dated and the part that bothers me a bit was stains on the box spring of the bed. The mattress it self was clean.

Disgusting Dirty!

As others have said, the location and view are perfect, but there was hair all over the bathroom when we arrived. My daughter's feet were black after walking around the condo for 30 minutes and there was sand in the bed. I was hopeful that after all previous negative reviews about the lack of cleanliness that it would have gotten better. Nope!

Okay stay

The location and view were perfect. I could tell the unit was not properly cleaned. There was sand everywhere and bugs in the corner of the bedroom. It wasn’t vacuumed. Couch was dirty and had stains. Bathroom was okay but can tell it was rushed through. Place could use remodel. The towels shed so much so after you shower and dry off you’ll be covered in white fuzz. Love that chairs are included in the stay (during our visit). It sucked that our unit was leaking into the downstairs unit because our phone blew up from them having to keep checking.
