Romantic Lakeview Retreat with King Bed, Jacuzzi & Fireplace

Escape to Whispering Pines, a private spa-inspired retreat elevated among the trees and designed for two. This romantic Lake Eufaula getaway features approximately 600 square feet of comfortable space and an entire wall of windows framing sparkling water views and beautiful sunsets.
Inside, you’ll find a king bed, Jacuzzi tub, full-size sofa, 55-inch Smart TV, complimentary Wi-Fi, a fully equipped kitchen, ceiling fan, heating and air conditioning, and a modern wall fireplace. The king bed and Jacuzzi tub are positioned so you can enjoy the lake view while relaxing.
Step outside onto the private patio with outdoor seating and a gas grill with propane provided. A private fire ring with chairs gives you another perfect place to unwind beneath the trees.
Whispering Pines is Cabin #6 with the green door and is part of Calico Heights, a 12.5-acre wooded retreat with nine cabins thoughtfully spaced throughout the property for privacy and beautiful Lake Eufaula views.
Guests can also enjoy shared property amenities including the hiking trail, grassy outdoor areas, storm shelter, and The Trading Post, our 24-hour guest supply location near the South Gate offering small appliances, games, movies, ice, pantry items, toiletries, and other essentials.
Calico Heights feels peaceful and secluded while remaining convenient to Longtown and Eufaula. Restaurants, grocery stores, shopping, and Lake Eufaula activities are only a short drive away. For a nearby meal, we recommend Dobbers Roadhouse in Eufaula.
Complimentary kayaks and paddleboards are available approximately five minutes away, and pontoon rentals may also be available for guests wanting to spend more time on the lake.
Whispering Pines does not have satellite TV, but the Smart TV offers access to a variety of streaming and entertainment apps. Guests may sign in using their own accounts where required.
Pets are welcome, subject to the property’s pet policy and applicable charges, with a maximum of two pets per stay.
A storm shelter is available on the property during severe weather. Roads are paved nearly all the way to Calico Heights, with the final approximately one mile consisting of maintained gravel road.

Smoking
All Calico Heights cabins are non-smoking inside. Smoking of any substance is permitted outdoors and on patios only. A $200 fee will be charged if smoking is detected inside the cabin.

Pets
Pets are welcome with the applicable fee of $50 per pet, per stay, with a maximum of 2 pets.

Pets not disclosed on the reservation may be subject to a $75 fee per pet.

For the safety and comfort of our guests, pets, and property:

Pets must be leashed when outdoors and in common areas.

Please keep pets off furniture, beds, linens, and Jacuzzi tubs. Pet beds are welcome.

Please pick up after your pet both indoors and outdoors.

Pets should not be left unattended for extended periods unless safely kenneled.

Excessive barking is not permitted.

Excessive pet hair, damage caused by pets, or additional cleaning required because pet guidelines were not followed may result in additional charges.

Check-In & Check-Out
Check-in and check-out times are established for each cabin. Because Calico Heights operates on a strict cleaning and turnover schedule between guests, early arrival or late departure is only permitted with prior approval.

Unauthorized early arrival or late departure may result in a $50 fee.

We want you to enjoy as much time as possible at the property, so please contact us in advance if you would like to request an adjusted arrival or departure time.

Linens & Towels
Please use the provided makeup towels and appropriate cloths for cosmetics, skin-care products, or other products that may contain bleaching agents.

If provided linens or towels become permanently stained, bleached, or damaged beyond normal use, the following replacement fees may apply:

Bath Towel: $10
Hand Towel: $5
Washcloth: $3
Sheets: $30
Bedspread: $50
Mattress Pad: $70
Robe: $30

Damages
Guests are responsible for damage to the cabin, furnishings, or property beyond normal wear and tear.

Please notify us promptly if something is accidentally broken or damaged during your stay. We appreciate knowing as soon as possible so we can repair or replace the item before the next guest.
