Lazy Daze ~ Stunning Estuary Location, family friendly, pet friendly, private

Awesome estuary location situated 14 kms from Coromandel Township in Kennedy Bay. Beautiful surroundings in a peaceful environment with picnic table right on the waterfront, a birdwatchers paradise. Swim or launch the boat/kayak from the front lawn. Watch the large variety of seabirds and wading birds, and in the winter if you are lucky enough you will see the white heron (Kotuku) hunting for food in the estuary as the tide goes out. Fabulous grassed area for play. Safe swimming.
Comfortable 3 bedroom house with open plan kitchen/lounge/dining leading to large covered in veranda with BBQ.
All bedding & general household linen provided.
Close to beaches, great fishing and diving areas.
Venture north to explore the north eastern Coromandel beaches from here.
Special conditions:
Minimum 3 night stay.
Surcharge for dogs is $25 per dog per stay, maximum of 2 dogs.
Smoking allowed outside only.
Optional cleaning service available $75 per stay.
Owner may or may not be on the property during your stay, we have separate facilities.

NOTE: Under Kiwi bach tradition you are expected to: Clean the house and do the dishes before you leave.

Lazy Daze is a beautiful and peaceful place to stay, quiet, remote, right on the water. A super comfy, lived-in vibe, not fancy or flashy, but a home away from home that was easy to settle into. Having access to the water for kayaking, launching the boat and fishing right off the back yard was a huge bonus! The host was incredibly welcoming and friendly. We loved our time there and would happily stay again!

The whole holiday was perfect! We couldn't have asked for a better time or location. Peter and Patty were friendly and helpful and Bev was an excellent communicator. Everything we needed was there. Great getaway

A proper kiwi batch holiday everything everyone needs and away from everyone, had one of the best getaways I’ve had in years. The owners were just super people and made us feel welcome and looked after us. The daily outlook over nursery was pleasing on the eye, the beautiful greens and all the different trees and shrimps and things we really enjoyed our stay and will be looking to stay there again hopefully regards to everyone who thinks about it Ian

Great location and friendly host

We had a lovely few days at this property. Very congenial host, Peter, was welcoming and helpful. The bach is right on the water and offers very peaceful outlook watching the tide come in. Loved the eclectic art collection and the wonderful array of cushions. My Labrador really enjoyed the garden which was fully fenced. A beautiful part of the world. Would go back.

Very peaceful and enjoyable

Well supplied rustic house with interesting artwork. We enjoyed swimming and kayaking, and relaxing. Hosts were extremely kind, helpful, and friendly. The location is fairly remote but we loved the peaceful surroundings and being right on the edge of the estuary.

Lovely spot, right on the waterfront with plenty of watersport based amenities. Nice large kitchen, hosts were very pleasant, let us borrow some sauce for dinner and access to the vege garden. Great experience, will return

Perfect spot

I organised this trip for my daughter and her friends as a 30th bday present. I joined them for a couple of days and didn't want to leave. The house has so much character. Perfect outdoor setting also to just be able to chill. The local beach was stunning.

Great Retreat

Peaceful, great swimming beach two minutes away, perfect for our dogs as the property was fully fenced, house was a little busy, a lot going on with different colours, patterns, pictures, but ok…..if you don’t mind. Great place for a family just wanting to chill. Shops only 30mins drive. We will definitely book again :)

Relaxed family break

The location was lovely and the bach was exactly as expected. Pete was great to deal with - quick responses, friendly and helpful.The only thing I could recommend would be a good deep clean of the bach to improve the experience.Other than that, we loved our time there and are so grateful to Pete for his generosity.
