The Coromandel is an outdoor haven renowned for its stunning natural beauty and laid back culture. With some of New Zealand's best weather the Coromandel is a year round destination for visitors. Access to Coromandel town is via the beautiful coast road or ferry directly from Auckland.

Spend your time walking, cycling, swimming or just relaxing in this beautiful natural landscape.

Situated in stunning Wyuna Bay Sea La Vie is a modern well equipped waterfront Bach with 180 degree uninterrupted views of the Coromandel harbour right through to Te Kouma Bay. The Ranges feature as a backdrop to the harbour and provide spectacular sunrises right across the water. At the end of the day stroll across the road and take a seat on Sunset Bench to enjoy the breath taking sunsets of the Hauraki Gulf.

Double stacker ranch sliders lead to the deck which is perfect for that afternoon BBQ.

Meander down the boardwalk-style and shell steps directly to Wyuna Bay beach below for a swim, or take the 3 kayaks for a paddle.

Parking on the concreted drive and off road gravel parking for a car and boat trailer at the top of the house (this is slightly slopping and parking is at your own risk).

Visiting Sea La Vie you will create lasting memories to share with family and friends.

Our stay couldn't have been better! A beautiful location, very clean wonderfully furnished house, it felt like home. We enjoyed the views, kayaks and Coromandel was a charming town. Would definitely recommend!

Wonderful private escape with breathtaking views!

Host was very responsive and communicative! Especially loved the large outdoor deck and gas grill looking out onto the bay! It was just the two of us but can also see having lots of fun with a larger group given the amount of amenities provided. Private trail down to the beach for the adventurous given the fact that the property is high-bank waterfront! :) We also really enjoyed sitting on the deck and listening to the melodic birdsongs at dusk.

What A Stunning View!

We absolutely loved our stay. Who wouldn’t treasure this view in the Coromandel Peninsula? We plan on returning next year or the year after. It will go down in our memories as one of our favorite rentals. It’s casual, comfortable with views from almost every room. It was hard to leave the property to explore. Being from the USA, we just don’t have many places like this. The town is close by for provisions and restaurants. Sunrise is superb and sunsets just a few minutes’ walk. Hard to beat. Lisa is lovely, helpful in every respect. She communicated promptly and was more than helpful. We highly recommend this property to anyone. Thanks, Lisa.

Beautiful spot on the Bay

This property was exactly as advertised, and then some! It was such a beautiful homebase to explore the Coromandel Peninsula - comfortable, well-equipped and the views were incredible. Would absolutely recommend Sea La Vie to anyone and hope to visit again sometime! :) Thank you, Lisa!

Awesome view and location

A spectacular view and lovely home, uncommon amenities include kayaks and pool table. One area not meeting expectations was the housekeeping, we needed to vacuum, clean up crumbs and deal with dirty fridge and sticky handles. We were also charged for linens which were a bit on the tired side. Overall we would be happy to stay here again, the owners are very responsive in their communications.

Heavenly Views

This house is STUNNING and has amazing views. Lisa was very quick to respond and offered linens when ours did not fit their bed. She gave great recommendations of local restaurants. The house comes with kayaks and a pool table. Both were used daily on our trip. House has all the amenities to help you fully relax and enjoy the view. Thank you Lisa!

Great Pocket in Coromandel

we had a great time at the house. the walk down to the water was fun but steep so trek lightly! Town is a few minutes away, we had a little sun while staying there, the view from the porch was stunning.

Fantastic Getaway Location

We stayed at ‘Sea La Vie’ for nearly 4 months. This is a fantastic home in a quite neighbourhood with the most spectacular views of McGregor Bay. There never seems to be a dull sunrise and a great scenic view point across the road to watch the sunset. This is a great place to relax and getaway from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. There is private access to the beach with a pool table and ping-pong table in the garage. The living spaces are modern and the kitchen is fully functional and well stocked with all of the cooking equipment you could need. If you are able to book this place for your visit to the Coromandel we would highly recommend it.

Fabulous week in dreamy location

What a wonderful find this gem was for our vacation. Once you arrive the stunning view makes you want to stay home and just gaze happily at the bay. The spacious layout, with high ceilings, comfortable sitting area, formal dining room, wide deck, fully equipped kitchen, modern bathroom and more make the experience complete. On top of that, our hostess Lisa was absolutely responsive to anything we brought to her attention and her replies to messages were practically instantaneous. Thank you!

Spectacular view!

View is spectacular. Layout of house is well thought out. Having the ping pong and pool table in the garage was a fun way to spend time. Trip down to the water was not too treacherous, but a person must be able bodied. The kayaks were a fun way to get in/on the water, though high tide is recommended for this, so pay attention to tide times. The town of Coromandel has a few nice shops and places to eat. I would recommend this property.

Lovely view

We spent 10 blissful nights staying in Coromandel. Loved the house, view and local community. Lisa was very responsive to our questions and helpful during our stay. The house accommodated 6 people comfortably. We really enjoyed taking the kayaks out, paddling around the shoreline. There is a full kitchen with lots of appliances. We easily prepared breakfast, lunch and dinner in the house. It was a great place for a long term stay.

Wonderful bach with a stunning view

Wonderful bach with a stunning view. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sea la Vie. The bach was well equiped with everything we needed for our stay. Well presented, clean and tidy. Coromandel Town is a quirky little place, with nice eateries and a good spot from which to explore the wider Coromandel peninsula.

The family loved staying at this beautiful bach. The views are amazing and the house is perfectly set-up. Even though we didn't have greatest weather, the bach was super relaxing and the indoor activities sure made the time fly-by. Comfortable, clean, and everything we needed.

Comfortable, clean, and everything we needed. The views were not only wonderful from the deck, but if it was chilly we just turned the armchairs around and faced the view. through the patio doors. Saw the Milky way as this is a such a rural area. Bit of a clamber down from the property to the beach but 3 minutes walk down the road took us there easily. Sunsets from a seat across the road looking down into another bay were spectacular!

Beautiful view.

Beautiful view. Well furnished and aptly equipped. Would definitely like to comeback on a sunny weekend so we can enjoy the water too.
