We really enjoyed our stay in Ngakuta bay..so beautiful! The house was clean tidy and had everything you need. Very family friendly! We cant wait to come back invthe summer time! Amazing hosts..Great communication!

House was clean and modern. Large with both shared space and areas for more secluded relaxation. Lovely garden and close to the bay. Simple access and host was very accommodating. We had 6 adults so the large house functioned well. I can imagine the 1 shared bathroom (the other is an on-suite) may be in demand with more guests. The two sit on kayaks were great to use, as was the table tennis table. TVs were a little small for the All Blacks game but as we only turned them on for that event it was no hardship. Overall, fantastic stay, in a lovely part of NZ.

Thank you for your generous comments. Just to clarify the bathroom set up for future guests.The house has a family bathroom downstairs with a shower/bath and vanity. There is a separate toilet downstairs. The spacious ensuite upstairs has a shower,toilet and vanity. We are renovating these areas in October. The ensuite will have a large 900x1200 shower. The TVs will be updated then too.

Beautiful retreat

A great stay, Hosts were amazing and accomodating. We used it as a base for Mum's 80th birthday nearby and it was the perfect place to get a bit of piece and quiet.

I am glad you enjoyed your stay.For larger boats 6.5 mters plus ,if backing up the driveway is to difficult there is plenty of grass road frontage in front of our property which is a double section.Some guests have parked their large boats here in the past.

A great property to share with friend groups. Great communication with Catherine and the home has everything we need for a large group getaway. Great access to the water and the gardens and lawn are kept beautifully. Thanks for anothet lovely stay.
