Elegantly renovated Victorian villa situated on the warm northern slopes of the inner-city suburb of Herne Bay and offering the comforts of home. The property has own separate entrance off sunny front verandah, and is completely self-contained with fully equipped kitchen and laundry. Short walk to Jervois Rd shops, cafes, and link bus to CBD, Ponsonby and Newmarket. A short stroll to lovely Home Bay Beach at the bottom of the road. Westhaven marina is 1k away.
Rates: $225 per night for 2 people using 1 bedroom only
Additional guests up to 4 in total $50 per night per person
Minimum 2 nights.
(Ask about our additional queen bedroom if there are more than 4 people) at $85 per night.

Clean, friendly, quiet, perfect equipped with all we needed and just a short walk to all the shops and restaurants - we have spent 3 wonderful relaxed days after a long flight from Europe.

Great place for an Auckland visit

Great place in a great location to visit Auckland. The apartment is well setup with two bedrooms with ensuites. Useful offroad parking and the little beach two minutes walk away is a wonderful bonus.

Nice property and safe neighborhood.

We really enjoyed our stay, nice walk to the beach reserve and cute playground near by. It's central to everything, attractions, restaurants. Our hosts are very friendly and helpful. We will come back to stay again.

Location in Herne Bay was perfect, beautiful neighborhood and short walk to great restaurants and shops. The unit was extremely clean and well equipped, especially the kitchen. The hosts were super friendly and extremely helpful. We would highly recommend this rental for those who are looking for a great, relaxing rental in the Auckland area

A Grand Time

The stay in Herne Bay, Auckland, New Zealand went very well. The accommodations were very nice and the weather was quite enjoyable. Even more impressive was the graciousness of the host couple, Di and Buzz. They were extremely considerate, thoughtful, and available before and during our stay there. I would wholeheartedly recommend their place to anyone who is considering a stay in the Auckland, New Zealand area. You can’t go wrong!

Great spot in Auckland

Di and Buzz have a wonderful place in Ponsonby. Location and accommodations are excellent. Everything is well-sorted for the guests to relax and enjoy the walkability to cafes and restaurants. Easy drives to other locations and off-street parking. Di is a personable and friendly host. Would definitely stay here again.

relaxing oasis in a nice surrounding

the house is in a very quiet surrounding, close to small shops, coffees and a bus stop. Diana is a very nice houst and very helpfull. We enjoied sitting on the balcony having our breakfast in the sun. The beds were specially confortable.

What an ideal home this was. We loved every minute of it. The location is wonderful, relatively quiet street, ideally positioned close to the beach and shops. We were able to park the car, the check in process was smooth. Di and her hubby were wonderful hosts, letting us be most of the time but available when we needed them. The house is really well set up, there were so many extra's I can't even list them all here. Everything was there from toilet paper, to washing detergent, milk, coffee and butter. Di does such a great job in having a ready place. We were so grateful to stay there, it really was wonderful and clean.
