Walleye Capitol of Michigan on Canal Front House with view of the Saginaw Bay

Recently remodeled 3-bedroom home sleeps up to 8. Large open floor plan with Vaulted Ceiling Living / Dining area and a view of the Saginaw Bay. Large fenced in yard with a Privacy Fence, Fire Pit and Horseshoe Pits. Washer and Dryer. Plenty of parking including room for large boats. Closest Vacation Rental to Public Access. Available All Year-round, Ice Fishermen welcome. Park small boat in backyard.

Although the home is located on Linwood "BEACH" Drive there is not a beach in the immediate vicinity. Boater's Beach is within minutes by water and Bay City State Park Beach is 15 minutes by car.

The canal can accommodate a small boat but does get overgrown with weeds. We are the closest rental home to the public access where small boats; jet skis and kayaks have direct access to the bay. Linwood Beach Marina and Campground is six hundred yards from the home which has four launches, boat / bait / party store and gas.

The city of Linwood has three restaurants, two bars and a party store, two of the restaurants / bars are about a half mile away. Franks Great Outdoors is a short drive away. Just north of Linwood Road you'll find Ricker's Meat where you will find the finest meat around.

Family Spring Fishing Trip

Very comfortable place right off the bay.

Had a fantastic stay here. Clean, spacious place just a stones throw away from a launch. Fishing was fantastic. Owners are great, great communication and also run a charter service which can make things even more convenient. Definitely highly recommended. Thanks again.

Labor Day trip

Weather was rough with lots of rain but we had plenty to do inside and had a great time with our grandchildren. Watching the storm over the lake was awesome. Owners were helpful. Bronners Christmas store was lots of fun. I recommend this property.

Thanksgiving stay

Our family stayed here for Thanksgiving. My mom's house is under construction and she wasn't able to host us for Thanksgiving, so we hosted here! The space was perfect for our family, the kitchen had everything we needed to cook a full spread, the rooms were comfy, and the view was lovely. Although it was cold outside, I took the opportunity to walk to the beach and it made me really want to visit again in the summer. Thanks for the hospitality!

amazing stay

I was not sleeping well before my sister, and I came to the rental. We loved the quietness of the area, birds and squirrels playing around. Glad to say I'm back sleeping feeling very rested. We loved the inside very big and open, smelled so good walking in reminded us of home. We were going to go fishing but my sister and I were content with just relaxing. We got to see family and friends, oh did I mention we grow up in Linwood. We decided not to drive far with the gas prices, also wanted to see family. You will not be disappointed renting this house the room and big yard, games to play, fishing, cookouts what more could anyone want. Thank you so much for the lovely stay

Holiday Retreat

We have stayed at this property twice, during the holidays, and both times we had a wonderful time. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare Thanksgiving dinner and to cook up our Christmas meal. The owner even decorated the house for Christmas, it was lovely. The owner was responsive to our request for batteries, even though it was Christmas Eve! The only issue we had was some difficulty connecting to the internet to stream the football game. We ended up connecting to our hot spot to avoid disturbing the owners on Christmas Eve twice. But they were so kind, I'm sure they would have helped if we asked. The house was clean, the view is lovely, just as advertised. I highly recommend.

Best Property and Hosts Ever!

We are very experienced vacation home renters, and we were a bit unsure about booking a place without reviews. But we needed a place on short notice and the property was a brand new listing. It was easy to communicate with Ron from the beginning and throughout our stay. The house is newly remodeled and furnished with new flooring, great appliances, coffee makers, washer and dryer, TVs, and internet. The photos don’t do it justice. Everything is comfortable, clean and tidy. The outdoor space is beautiful, with a good-sized deck facing the water, a new gas grill, outdoor furniture, and large, lovely lawn. I was concerned about mosquitoes, but they were not an issue. As great as the property is, we cannot express how much more wonderful Ron and Michelle are. Ron took us out on his boat and helped our daughter catch a fish as well as pulled her on a tube. Michelle sent us the best cookies made by a local baker. When they learned it was our anniversary, a beautiful bottle of champagne on ice, along with champagne flutes and a card, showed up on the picnic table on a silver tray. We were on the trip to visit a sick relative who ended up passing away while we were there. Ron and Michelle not only sent a card but also set us up with a wonderful caterer, extra tables and chairs and things for the kids to do while family came to visit us. They are the kindest people. Finally, when the new air conditioners needed some tweaking, Ron had the a/c repair person there within the hour. We were cool again right away. I don’t generally leave such detailed reviews, but you will not go wrong with this rental - even if you aren’t there to fish or take out your boat at the beautiful marina that is practically next door. Thanks, Ron and Michelle, for making our difficult time as good as it possibly could have been.

Outstanding for Fishermen!

Simply an excellent stay and had the perfect amenities for fishermen. There was plenty of room to back my boat into the driveway, there were outside electrical hookups, and a marina a few hundred yards away… and the owners were easy to communicate with.

Family get away

Nice place and quiet. They had horse shoes, some frisbee thing I’ve never done before but the kids loved it, corn hole fire pit, barbecue and some board games. They had plenty of places to sleep. It was a very nice experience for us all. The kids want to go back again sometime.

Wonderful property

Second time staying at Ronald’s rental. Home was beautifully decorated for Christmas with cookies waiting for us! Incredibly clean and has all the comforts of home. Due to severe weather predicted I asked if we could add a night on last minute to beat the storm and Ronald was able to help us out. Will definitely stay here again.
