  • Great Beach!

"We just returned from a great week at Cindy's wonderful home. Second year in a row for us. Huge place with plenty of room. We have had as many as 10 adults and 11 kids. You can have campfires on the beach or in the fireplace in the front yard. 3 kayaks. BBQ that's hooked up to the house's natural gas line. Second house behind the main house that can fit a large family. Private and secluded. Probably one of the best stretches of beach from Lexington to Port Sanilac. Great experience!"

  • Perfect for families!

"We were there July 8-16. The house was adorable. It has nice beds and plenty of seating, the master bath was great! Outside the bay was perfect for kids - we brought kayaks and even had jet skis for a couple of days - the marina was up the street! We grilled, had fires and spent hours in the water! Caseville is a quick seven mile drive - cute town with a nice beach on the lake. We also traveled to Port Austin and enjoyed the farmers market. I would definitely recommend for families and plan to return next year with mine!"

  • Charming historic cottage. This cottage and Jennifer have set the bar very high!

"This is it! This is the spot! Beautiful and charming cottage. Jennifer made it super easy for us. Preparing us before we got there and letting us know what we would need and what to expect when we arrived. The communications with her were so easy that we had a great feeling before we got there. She let us know that she was just a phone call away if we needed anything during our stay. When you walk in the door you know you have made a great decision. The cottage is clean and decorated as an island cottage should be. Cute and cozy. The cottage is alot bigger than it looks from the photos. Also, very, very clean. I was amazed how a place as old as this could be so well maintained and so perfect. When we walked in to the upstairs bedroom, the sheen drapes were blowing in the wind, and looking out the windows, the river seemed so close. It was almost as if it was staged. We went right to the dock on the river and spent the time hanging out and jumping into the nice cool water. There is a ladder right on the seawall to make sure the exit from the channel is easy as can be. We spent nights grilling and hanging out by the two fire pits. The outdoor enclosed shower was a great surprise. Taking a nice cool shower outside after swimming and running around all day was a really cool experience. It also was great to sit on the dock and watch all the different boats cruising by. I feel like we found a true gem on the island. I am counting the days till we can come back and visit my family's new favorite place. Thank you Jennifer for maintaining that beautiful cottage as well as you have and for sharing it with our family."
