  • Very comfortable, roomy, well supplied lake front cottage

"My 3 generational family of 6 spent a week in this comfortable lakeside cottage. It's old and outdated and wonderfully roomy. The sandy clean beach is a delight, the water clear and inviting, and the lake views incredible. The cottage was well supplied and the new owners were welcoming and helpful. There were comfortable places to sit and eat everywhere, inside and out, the grounds well maintained. This is a perfect place for a larger family. Also, this cottage is a part of a larger group of several cottages in a small space, and would be a great place for a large family gathering, reunion kind of thing, where you could rent several of the cottages together. It might not be the best place if you want quiet and privacy. There's a lot going on around you. One criticism: the beds were old and uncomfortable, except for the king size bed in the master bedroom."

  • This beautiful beach house was so beautiful and clean. 5 plus plus stars!!!

"My family shared five days over the Labor Day weekend (2016). The pictures do not do this home justice! It was so beautiful and everything you could possibly need is already here - right down to the marshmallow skewers and crock pots! The sunsets are some of the most beautiful in Michigan! We are hoping to return for another family get together next year!"

  • Sand Point Beach Family Vacation

"TJ met us at the rental, she lives right next door. We walked into the basement area, around the corner was a large bedroom with 1 king size bed, 2 twins and a large screen tv, kitchen table and chairs. The opposite direction was a beautiful tiled bathroom with shower, and laundry area. Up the stairs, which were quite steep, you walked into a large living room with a gorgeous view of Lake Huron. Three bedrooms were on the main floor, full size bathroom, two dining room tables, and a sun room. The kitchen was fully stocked, as well as the bathrooms. Several board games and card games for all ages, puzzles and books were available. We were an extended family with 4 adults and 4 children. There was plenty of room, when we had a few other family members come by, we still had plenty of room. When you walked out of the sun room onto a beautifully landscaped yard and patio, the view of the lake took your breath away. The walk down to the beach was not steep, but because of the breakerwall, there was about a foot or more drop until you reached the water. In the boathouse there were several beach chairs, floating devices for the lake, three kayaks and life jackets. The first couple of days the wind was strong and the air was cool, we were unable to fully enjoy the lake because of the waves. The closest grocery store is a Spartan Store in Caseville, their prices are a little high-but well stocked. We enjoyed ice cream at Shakers and Dairy Queen in Caseville. The grandchildren had a blast with the large slide, bumper boats, and putt putt golf in Caseville. Our favorite dinner was at Lefty's, the fish was good, but service was slow. Our pizza at the downtown restaurant was expensive, not worth the price. We took a full day and went canoeing near Grindstone City. At the end of the river, which lead to Lake Huron, we got out of the canoes and swam in the lake. I would highly recommend this trip. We also walked to the end of the pier in Grindstone City. There were several large boats docked. One day we were going to wash a few items and the washer was not working. We called TJ and she had a maintenance man out the same day. He was unable to fix it, but TJ told us she would have a new washer and dryer delivered the next day, which she did. We loved the cottage and the service TJ delivered was above great customer service. The only disappointment I had was the breakerwall at the beach."
