Just Perfect

Had two superb days here on our second trip to Kawhia. Love the very clean and tidy house, the views and the three lawn mowers who came to visit! (sheep) Patsy, our host, made everything so easy adding to a wonderful feeling of relaxation. Beds very comfortable, kitchen very easy to work in. We were all most reluctant to leave and return to town on Sunday. Thank you so much for our lovely happy time, from all four of us. Jenny

Lovely host and property

Patsy is an excellent host. She is lovely and very welcoming, giving us lots of details about Kawhia. Her property is spacious and well-kept, with beautiful views and garden. The location was perfect for us, being near shops and our friends at the campsite.

Peaceful, remote getaway.

Seamless check in process. Very helpful host, including restaurant recommendations. House was more spacious than expected and had everything we needed for a long weekend escape from the big city.

Zero complaints. Loved our stay. The house is quite large with several different spaces, which is nice when you’re there with a group.

Lovely stay

We had a fantastic stay visiting family near by. The house is in a stunning location with excellent views. The property is a generous size and very clean and tidy. Perfect for our weekend getaway. Patsy was lovely when we corresponded before and after our stay. Would definitely revommend!

What a beautiful home, so comfortable and welcoming after a long stressful week at work. My sister inlaw was supposed to come from Hastings but couldn't make it at the last minute due to health reasons so my brother in-law and partner stayed. Lovely weekend away

Happy non - fishers!

A super clean, tidy, and comfortable place to stay in laid back Kawhia, The ever changing view over the harbour as the tide rolled in and out was very relaxing and even though the fishing trip was cancelled due to the big swell we had some quality time to chill out. Roomy house

Great location in a quite street, roomy house with comfy beds. The owner was lovely and helpful and mentioned places to see. Sea views were small but patsy did mention she was going to cut back some trees. I must mention the shower was a 2/10 for pressure. Other than that we had a very pleasant stay.Thank you Patsy 😊

Beautiful whare!

We had a wonderful stay in Kawhia - Patsy’s bach is the perfect place for a lovely weekend get away. Plenty of space for everyone and a gorgeous garden with lots of sun to enjoy. The kitchen is very well stocked with everything you could possibly need. Thank you Patsy for making it so easy for us. Will definitely be back again!

This is the second time we've stayed at this home and we thoroughly enjoyed it again. Awesome contact from Patsy, everything you need at the house and very clean and well maintained. BTW, amazing fishing charter with Dove Charters in Kawhia, we'll definitely be back.

Always enjoy our stay in Kaawhia

I regularly book this accommodation for an annual tribal event in Kaawhia, it's always tidy, cozy and spacious for us all who stay each year. Patsy is so lovely, easy to communicate with and always accommodating. It's a real joy and privilege to stay here every year. Highly recommend to large groups and families.
