Have stayed at Crabtree cottage previously and find it suits us and our dogs very well . Despite the appalling weather we were warm and cosy . Would love to saty again

Always a pleasure having Penny stay. Excellent guests.
We had a great weekend in the cottage - so cozy and comfortable. Comfy bed, and all amenities of a good quality. Our dog also had a fun weekend, it's great that the backyard is enclosed so perfect for dogs. We'd definitely return.
Fabulous cosy cottage, perfect for a week of relaxing. Wonderfully decorated and so comfortable. Also in a peaceful spot only a short drive from Havelock North and the beach and great flat cycle trails right on the doorstep. Communication with the owner was excellent. Thoroughly recommend this home.
Stayed in this property a few years ago and such a wonderful spot just a short stroll to the Beach, biking distance to Shops and Elephant Hill and other wineries. Clean presentation as previously, just the dining table chairs could do with some R&M now.

Lovely to have Neil back. An excellent guest who we can certainly recommend and appreciate the tip about the chairs which have become just a trifle too shabby chic.
We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the Crabtree Cottage. The location is amazing and means you can have your morning coffee while strolling along the beach. We loved going for a bike ride around the area and Havelock North is a short car ride away for breakfast, lunch or dinner options. The property itself came equipped with everything you need and was sufficiently warm on a pretty cold winters night. Would highly recommend!

Aliesha is an exceptionally tidy and respectful guest. She left the cottage absolutely spotless. Can’t ask for more than that.
The property is a little tired but everything one requires for a stay is provided. The cottage is situated on a relatively busy road before accessing the beach. Overall a perfect location for exploring vineyards and beaches in the vicinity. Thank Phil for your hospitality!

Thanks for your feedback Rebecca. Yes, we make no pretensions about the kiwi bach shabby chic style of Crabtree. It’s a relaxed feel we like as do many of our regular returnees. But happy to concede it’s not everyone’s cup of tea, different strokes for different folks I guess.
So relaxing..easy walking distance to beach , handy to store and takeaways . HYGGE A MUST to visit. Back area is a bonus for a dog.Fab communication throughout with Phil. Five stars.

We would absolutely happily highly recommend Pippa and Trevor.
A pleasure to deal, a pleasure to have stay. Perfect guests.
We visited all three local vineyards, Elephant Hill (great wine tasting), Clearview (great lunch) and Te Awanga Estate - best to book ahead as they all got fully booked at lunchtime and people were turned away. Took the bikes for a spin up the coastal path but otherwise just chilled out in the back garden. Was lovely sitting in the covered area out the back, even when it was raining. Very convenient for nipping into Havelock North to stock up on supplies, but Te Awanga has a great seaside village feel. All in all a great stay.

Terrific couple.. We love guests like these two. They make everything feel so good about having people stay. Faultless.
We had a fabulous time relaxing as the weather was average so it forced us to take time to chill out. Phils communication prior to arriving at the cottage was excellent and it was nice to know he was only a phone call away if we had any issues! The cottage had everything we needed and super pleased we could take our two small doggos. We hope to visit again in future once our baby arrives!
