Elegant, avkopplande fritidshus med modernt kök och badrum, en enkel 7 minuters promenad till Mount Maunganui-stranden vid Hart St.

Vår fullt utrustade stuga är mycket bekväm för en familj eller två par. Det rymmer upp till fem vuxna. Interiören har en eklektisk blandning av samtida textilier och vintage fynd.

Den soliga trädgården är helt inhägnad. Det finns två små däck och en gräsmatta med utomhusbord och stolar.

Stugan har tre sovrum (1 drottning, 1 dubbel, 1 king-singel), plus det finns en söt, gardinerad plats med en liten enkelsäng som är idealisk för ett barn. På begäran finns det potentiellt utrymme för ett annat barn: det finns en divan säng i vardagsrummet och kungens enkelsäng har en trundler under.

Det finns en TV-bildskärm och krom, men ingen Freeview eller kabel-tv.

Parkering utanför gatan finns i carporten. (Ingen parkering på uppfarten snälla, detta delas med vår granne).

Det finns två cyklar, en boogie board, skum board, cricket set, tennisracketar och andra leksaker att låna. Fråga om du vill låna en surfbräda.

Med förhandsgodkännande kan en väl uppförd hund tillåtas. Allt linne ingår.

När det gäller förnödenheter, ligger Supermarknaden och Central Parade-butikerna och deli bara några minuters promenad bort. Du hittar fantastiskt kaffe på Heath St Cafe, runt hörnet.

Outstanding location

Can't beat the location - just round the corner from Blake Park and the supermarket and a walk's distance from the beach. Easy parking, and place was in great condition. Highly recommend!

Relaxing spot within a close walk to glorious Mount Maunganui beach and supermarket. Well equipped bach although no bbq unfortunately. Rachel is a very good communicator and sorted any wee problems we had. Thanks Rachel.

Very thoughtfully and tastefully set up- great Kiwi hospitality!!

We loved this Bach, and you can tell the owners enjoy it themselves and care about your experience. It has everything you need and is generously stocked. Easy location, immaculately clean, well stocked, beautifully styled. Property manager is professional and caring and would 150% recommend this property to others. Would recommend to all.

It is a great location on a quiet street just the corner from the beach. The weather was wet, but it didn't matter as the house was warm and dry and we could stay in if we wanted to.

My partner John and I live in Wellington, where he is an architect with his own practice and I am a freelance publicist. While we love the city, we also enjoy escaping to our gorgeous cottage at The Mount, it's such a different world to our usual life - and the weather and surf is just so much better!

Varför värden valde detta boende

We have family in the Bay of Plenty and have always loved visiting the region. The weather is amazing, the beach is stunning and there's also easy access to fantastic bush walks, rivers and waterfalls.

As well as being its own destination, Tauranga/Mount Maunganui is also a great base to explore other holiday spots. It's just two to three hours drive to the Coromandel Peninsula, Lake Taupo and Auckland, and only an hour to Whakatane and Rotorua.

When we stay at the cottage, daily life becomes pretty simple, usually beginning with walk or jog along the beach, often the 4kms to the Mount itself with a walk to the top for amazing views. Then it's morning coffee and back to the beach for the afternoon.

Our cottage (or 'bach') is full of character and personal touches. Fully furnished, it's packed with many of our favourite things, all hand-picked especially for the house, including Marimekko fabrics and other colourful textiles and linen.

The cute back garden is a lovely place to relax. Fully gated, there is also a cedar shed to store bikes that are free to use.

The house is walking distance to beach, supermarket and cafes.
