The Space:

Nestled within native bushland on a working orchard, this character-filled cottage is designed for cosy country escapes. The open-plan living area centres around a comfortable lounge, where the wood-burning fireplace, Smart TV with Netflix, Wi-Fi, books and board games create the perfect setting for cosy evenings in.



The well-equipped kitchen makes it easy to prepare everything from leisurely breakfasts to relaxed evening meals, complete with an electric cooktop, dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator and Nespresso-compatible coffee machine. Gather around the dining table to linger over long lunches or enjoy a glass of Margaret River wine as the day winds down.



Outside, you'll find a collection of inviting spaces to enjoy throughout the day. Sip your morning coffee on the balcony overlooking the surrounding trees, or fire up the BBQ for an alfresco meal on the patio after a day exploring the coast. As evening falls, the fire pit becomes the perfect place to toast marshmallows and admire the stars. Beyond, a timber boardwalk leads to the shared wellness zone, where an infrared sauna, outdoor bath and open-air shower offer a restorative place to unwind amongst native landscaping.



The primary bedroom features a queen bed and calming neutral styling, creating a restful retreat after a day of exploring. The second bedroom includes a single bunk bed, making it ideal for children. The contemporary bathroom features a spacious walk-in shower and stylish finishes, while laundry facilities provide everything needed for a comfortable stay.



Secure garage parking is available for guest use. Guests also have access to the surrounding farmland and outdoor areas, while the driveway and sauna area are shared with a neighbouring residence, Orchard Homestead.



Guest Access:

Guests have exclusive access to the cottage, surrounding farmland and outdoor areas. The driveway and wellness zone, including the infrared sauna, outdoor bath and open-air shower, are shared with Orchard Homestead, another rental property on-site. You may encounter other guests when using these shared spaces during your stay.



The Neighborhood:

Yallingup Siding offers a peaceful rural escape while placing you within easy reach of the Margaret River region's celebrated wineries, beaches and natural attractions. Enjoy coffee at Commonage Coffee, sample local craft beer at Wild Hop Brewery, or spend the day exploring nearby cellar doors. Yallingup Beach and Ngilgi Cave are both a short drive away, while the Cape to Cape Track offers spectacular coastal walks and lookouts. Dunsborough and Margaret River are also within easy driving distance for boutique shopping, cafés, restaurants and local produce, making it easy to experience the best of the region.



Getting Around:

A car is recommended to make the most of your stay, allowing you to easily explore nearby wineries, beaches and attractions throughout the Margaret River region. Free parking is available on the property, with Dunsborough and Margaret River both within an easy drive.

Please read and respect the house rules. This is very much appreciated. Thank you! Before your arrival, we will also share a house guide that contains instructions on how to access the property, use certain appliances, and anything else you may need to know.



Quiet Hours & Noise Complaints:

Please keep noise to a minimum after 10:00 pm in line with local regulations.

We kindly ask all guests to respect the property and surrounding neighbours during their stay. Please be aware that noise complaints are a breach of our terms and conditions and may result in the forfeit of your bond and/or possible immediate eviction from the property.



School Leavers:

We do not accept any school leavers bookings at any time of the year.



Rental Agreement:

As part of our standard process, all guests are required to complete a rental agreement prior to arrival. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.



Firewood and Fire Ban:

Firewood is provided from May to September. Outside of these months, you can find firewood at local service stations. Please note that fire bans are in effect from November 1 to April 30, during which time fire pits are not permitted.



Pet Policy:

This property is not pet-friendly, and pets are not permitted on the premises.



Important Property Information:

Orchard Cottage operates on tank water, so we kindly ask guests to use water mindfully.

This property is located in a rural area, so WiFi and TV can sometimes be patchy or intermittent.



Please be aware that Orchard Cottage is located next to the main house (Orchard Homestead). The layout has been designed to ensure your experience remains private while still being situated on shared farm grounds.



Orchard Homestead can be booked separately, and there may be other guests staying at the same time. Alternatively, both properties can be booked together for one large family trip.
