A 5 minute walk will bring you to your morning coffee at local favourite Nordie Café, while the area’s best restaurants, wineries, golf courses, hot springs and beaches are just a short drive away.
The entrance opens from a verandah into a gourmet’s kitchen, complete with a suite of Miele appliances and everything you might need during your stay. The adjacent living and dining areas feature a pitched ceiling, a cosy wood stove for cooler evenings and a rustic dining table, with seating for up to 8 guests. The living area opens out through french doors to a lovely dining terrace, surrounded by lush gardens and furnished with a long teak dining table, lounge chairs and a BBQ.
The home accommodates up to 6 people comfortably across three well-appointed bedrooms, each with built in robes. The large master suite, located on the upper floor, features a luxurious ensuite, its own balcony and beautiful views of the surrounding landscape. Two additional bedrooms on the entry level share a central bathroom and separate powder room.
On the lower level you’ll find an additional living pavilion, with comfy couches, a large flat-screen TV and stunning outlooks of the garden and nearby rural vistas. The space opens to a fully furnished outdoor lounge, perfect for enjoying a cocktail or a glass of local wine, as the late afternoon sun sets over the nearby hills. Just a few steps down from the deck is a charming firepit and seating area, for relaxing together under the stars after a long day. The garden also features an outdoor shower and a separate area with an olympic-sized in-ground trampoline and basketball hoop, to entertain younger guests during your stay.

We loved our stay, the house had a very warm and inviting feeling. The girls loved the outdoor trampoline and fire area.I’d highly recommend anyone wanting a getaway weekend!
We were in the area for a family wedding the house was lovely with everything we needed. The trampoline was a bonus for my sister’s family who were staying nearby.
Stonewood House is an absolutely stunning property. The styling and the amnenity are second to none. The house is cosy and immaculately clean with beautiful art works and plants..the garden is delightful and we enjoyed sitting outside on the deck in the afternoon sun.The house is so comfortable with a fabulously equipped kitchen, smart TV, womderful sound system and easy access Wifi.Central location, close to many wineries and easy communication with the owner. Overall we had a fantastic weekend and would highly recommend this stunning property.
Design perfection here and so clean & stylish you feel like you have landed on the pages of Vogue Living. Well located close to wineries & a short drive to flinders beach. Only issue is the driveway…my advice:don’t park in it because you may not get out unless you are in a 4WD
