Had a great stay with friends and family at Patsy's Gate. Brett was a pleasure to deal with in the leadup and answered all queries very promptly. The house is spacious and well kept by Brett and Justine with plenty of natural light, particularly upstairs in the master bedroom. Very cosy living area, loved the fire place which was well stocked upon arrival. Perfect place for an autumn stay with the lush backyard and vineyard views, and was great having Red Hill Estate walking distance up the road. The basketball ring got some good use and the large, modern kitchen was great to cook in. Hope to be back in summer to use the pool!

Great accomodation - Pool terrible
The accomodation is fantastic. Brilliant location and set on a stunning property. Rooms are very well sized and everything was clean. We were very happy with it.
However, the pool was completely unusable due to a green slime. It was the main reason we picked the property and were unable to use it over the 5 nights. Very disappointing. I will say the manager had a pool cleaner come out twice but couldn’t be fixed and was then full of chemicals. I feel I should have been compensated financially given it’s a major selling point, however this was not offered.

With regard to the pool, as I said at the time, this was a first for us as there have been no issues with the quality of our pool water in the past and the pool is one of the reasons we have so many return guests. As the owners (not managers) of the property we did everything possible to try and fix the water quality issue and I certainly apologise this didn't happen in time for your photos. Generally we would consider some form of financial compensation however on this occasion due to the council letter we received about a noise complaint during your stay, we decided against this. As every guest who stays with us knows, we are very clear about the importance of respecting our property rules and the Mornington Peninsula Shire Councils short stay code of conduct.
