Gorgeous 2 brm cottage located only minutes to the township of Bowral and Mittagong surrounded by breath taking countryside and sweeping views.
The cottage is fully equipped with all that you could ever need for a weekend away in the southern highlands and is part of the Tarrawonga estate which was the first school and church house of Lower Mittagong.
The two bedrooms (1 king and 1 queen) have been fitted with the best comfort and linen ensuring a perfect nights sleep.
Kitchen is fully equipped with top quality oven, cooktop, dishwasher, coffee machine and so many more extras.
Retreat in the loft reading nook or enjoy an afternoon siesta on the day bed.

Immaculate property that had absolutely everything we could possibly need and want during our stay. The location is very peaceful and just what we needed to slow down. The hosts were also wonderful and made everything from check-in to check-out very easy. Looking forward to returning soon!

The property was outstanding, we loved everything about it. The hosts went over and above with what they provided. We were amazed to find they had supplied, croissants, jam, sliced bread, eggs, bacon, yoghurt, milk; and that was only a few of things provided. The ambience was beautiful, such a peaceful place and absolutely loved the fireplace. We will definitely return!

This is the perfect cottage to get away from it all! Beautifully appointed with everything you need to just put your feet up and relax. The log fire and the in floor heating make the cottage wonderfully cosy and the comfortable lounges, views, birdlife and a couple of friendly horses make it almost impossible to leave. Fantastic hosts who provided a breakfast bonus for us with bacon, eggs, bread and freshly baked scones, very thoughtful and appreciated. If you're reading this then you should book this place and go there, you won't regret it.

Beautiful cottage - everything we were hoping for.Excellent communication from the owners who were incredibly helpful, kind and also stocked the property with not only essentials but some extra goodies - we really appreciated the extra touchThe location is extremely convenient but it was nice to sit down and relax by the beautiful fireplaceWe highly recommend a stay here - I know we will definitely be back

We had such a beautiful stay at Tarrawonga Cottage. The property was clean, cosy, peaceful, and perfect for a relaxing family getaway. The fireplace and underfloor heating made it extra comfortable, especially with the cooler weather and young kids.The location was ideal for exploring Bowral, Berry, Fitzroy Falls, and the Southern Highlands while still feeling private and quiet. The hosts were incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful with local recommendations, which made our stay even more special.It truly felt like a home away from home. We would absolutely love to stay again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and memorable escape.

Amazing oasis

We had the most relaxing stay at this beautiful cottage. Location was fabulous for exploring the Southern Highlands and coming back to relax on the verandah with a beverage and good book was so good for the soul to rest and recharge. Everything you possibly could need is available in this apartment. The quality of the amenities is impeccable. Loved the beautiful scents that were evident in the various rooms. The treats left by the host was a lovely touch that was not expected but very much appreciated. The hosts were responsive when needed and helpful with suggestions to explore the area. We felt so comfortable here and it was perfect in every way. We would happily stay here again.

This cottage is an absolute find. Beautifully styled, blissfully quiet, immaculately clean and kitted out with every creature comfort you could hope for making the stay comfortable and easy. The hosts are very friendly and communication was fabulous, access was simple and we had absolutely everything you could have needed. They even pre-stacked the fireplace and offered to light it for us in advance of our arrival! The views and grounds are spectacular and if you’re a birder, you are in for a treat as there are so many fabulous birds attracted to the luscious garden surrounding the cottage. We absolutely loved our stay and wish we could have stayed longer! We will be back!

Property was really clean, had all the amenities, kitchen is very well stocked, very close to bowral and surrounds. Fireplace is lovely in the lounge room with plenty of fire wood. sub-floor vented heating and electric kept us lovely and cosy. Stunning views from every room and the horse greeted us at breakfast along with the native birds.
