Castaways ia a cute 2-bedroom house in pleasant Dunwich. There is a Queen size bed in each bedroom and a fold out futon in the multi-purpose longe space to we can confortasleep 6.
Enjoy a BBQ on the Deck or a short stroll into town to visit the local restaurants and Brewery. We are pet friendly with a fully fenced yard. If you are into fishing, we back onto a Bait and Tackle shop where you can access discounted bait n tackle too.
Dunwich is ideally located near both vehicle and passenger ferry terminals and is the perfect base camp for your families vacation so you can explore the islands wonderful attractions and activities.

Linda and Neil have been bringing their children camping on Stradbroke Island for the last 10 years. They love the island and the community, so when the opportunity came up to own the 1950's cottage they were over the moon. We live this place and are more than happy to share the Island's offerings with others.

Wake up in Dunwich, stroll down for a swim in the calm bayside beach or take a 10 minute drive to the stunning brown lake recreational area. The island has so much to offer including the stunning Point lookout North Gorge walk and amazing surf beaches.

Castaways is a perfect base camp for families or fishing groups. The home backs on to the well established Straddie Super Sports where you will receive store discount on your bait an tackle too. Pet friendly too means you can bring the whole family. Our dogs love the island and the fully fenced yard will keep them safe.
