Garden Lane is a showpiece city location that has been styled with the exclusive corporate traveller or luxury holidaymaker in mind, offering privacy, prestige and convenience when staying in Melbourne for high profile events or during peak times of the year such as Grand Prix week. Designed with an updated aesthetic by Oliver Du Puy Architects and incorporating the garden style of Kate Seddon Associates, Garden Lane is an elegant 1889 Victorian located within one of the Domain Precinct’s most sought-after address.

Quietly titled, with its own street address off the Maples warehouse mews, Garden Lane boasts privacy and exclusivity yet benefits from access to common gardens and pool areas which are uncommon features for inner-city residences that require the privacy and resort-like setting often expected by business executives. Upon arrival guests are greeted by a front garden entryway that evokes a sense of calm akin to that of a hotel lobby. To the west of the entry is the formal living room complete with functional fireplace. The living room opens onto the private courtyard through French doors and is perfect for entertaining after meetings or drinks in the evening or relaxing after spending the day at the Grand Prix. Continuing through to the centre of the home is the kitchen/lounge area. The room was designed to act as a refuge with millicious linen furnishings, calming marble and bronze detailing on the bathroom vanity, automatic blinds and direct access to the peaceful garden terrace outside. Additional bathrooms were carefully considered to provide guests with hotel-quality accommodation, perfect for colleagues, family or for longer-term corporate assignments.

The interiors are awash with designer lighting sourced from New York and hard-to-find European fixtures. In addition, Garden Lane boasts modern day comforts such as hydronic heating, reverse-cycle airconditioning, double glazed windows and underfloor heating in the bathrooms. There is parking for two cars.
