The house in Carlton was ideal for us to stay for a family event. We were 3 couples and a baby. The house was very comfortable, tastefully decorated and well equipped. We had a most enjoyable and comfortable 5 day stay.

Great location really close to Lygon St & the Museum & Exhibition Centre

We absolutely loved staying in this townhouse! It is extremely well positioned and very quiet at night. The beds are really comfortable & it is well facilitated. We will be back - my 13yo daughter wants to come back as soon as possible! The host is excellent & gave great advice about restaurants & things to do.

Great little spot. Clean and functional, has washer and dryer, kitchen has oven, dishwasher, microwave and coffee pod machine . Heating in the lounge room only and no spare blankets but was ok. Weirdly could not find any knives and forks?

Great Location

Stayed with two friends while attending a conference in the city. Very cute cottage, beautifully decorated and in a perfect location. Clean and ideal for what we wanted. Bathroom and toilet are down some very steep stairs so less suitable for older travellers, those with mobility difficulties or families with small children. A very short walk to Lygon St and all the eateries. Walking distance to the Queen Victoria Markets (under 25 minutes). Good communication with host. Thank you for a very pleasant experience.

Very steep and narrow stairs without a full handrail and very narrow bottom stairs. Bathroom basin tap only had hot water and poor flow. The dryer, although new had a grinding sound. The lounge and kitchen chairs could do with a clean. The microwave was positioned on top of the fridge which made using quite dangerous. The locks to the back gate and entry door are not user friendly and lighting to gain access at night could be better. The front bedroom doesn’t have a window, and the skylight shade did not work, nor was there a beside light unlike the other bedrooms.

This property is part of the Northside story. Being over 100 years old it encompasses the character and charm of the area. We have lovingly renovated and restored our Terrace and are excited to share this with you.

It provides such a great base to see the city and then come back to and stretch out and unwind.

What makes this property unique

We loved the entrance to the home It is tucked away in a typical Melbourne Blue stone lane framed by the stunning bougainvillea. It is dripping in history and story and provides a light filled lounge that you can just watch the world pass you by from the windows.
