Beautiful home that met all the needs of a family, gave us a feel for melbourne living. Fantastic location and access to trams. Host was helpful throughout the whole process. Would stay here again
Location of this property is excellent. Tram, IGA, great coffee & restaurants at the door step. Apartment was comfortable and exactly as described in listing. We will definitely book again.
Comfortable, stylish, convenient; ideal family accommodation. This is our second time staying at this fantastic property in Brighton East, and we came back because it’s hard to beat! Beautifully appointed property with super comfy beds, lounge and dining situation, well stocked amenities and lots of space for everyone. The two balconies are lovely and add to the relaxing air of the place. The fully functioning kitchen was a real plus, as well as the washer/dryer and air con. Location is excellent, being metres away from excellent coffee, an IGA and a tram stop to town. Jacqueline is an excellent host with strong communication and care, and we’ve appreciated her wonderful hospitality each time.
The last tram stop is located 1 min walk in front of the propeety. Great cafe across the road. Very enjoyable stay. Only thing to be mindful of is there are quite a few stairs in the property which don’t bother us. We lluved our stay!
This was a comfortable and well equipped unit in a convenient location to explore the bayside suburbs. It was quiet despite being near a main road. Excellent coffee shop and small supermarket across the road. The communication with the owner was excellent.
The property is accurately as described. Location is perfect I love the east brighton and surrounding suburbs. Easy to get to the city and other amenities. The house is tidy, trendy and cozy. Big thank you to the host.
Thank you . We loved staying at your funky apartment .
Lots of room for us to spread out . The outdoor areas were a bonus .
Great that there was a tram right outside the door .
We hope to be back
Lovely home and perfect location for a family stay
The house was lovely and the location was perfect. Tram stops right in front although we never used the tram service. Little convenience store and take away shops right at door step. The only thing was the house was full of owners personal stuff which meant all our clothes were kept in our suitcases but it wasn’t a massive issue.
Family of 5 (with three teens) recently stayed at the property for 4 nights. Overall the property was comfortable and provided everything we needed for our stay. The location was great, IGA & cafes at the door. The only things to be mindful of are slippery shower steps (main bathroom) and morning light in the master due to stairwell skylight (bring eye masks). We would happily stay here again though.
Stylish multi level apartment above offices. High ceilings, outdoor seating, great morning sunlight. Easy on street parking and plenty of nearby local restaurants etc. Not all rooms air-conditioned and not suitable for anyone unable to navigate stairs. Great property for AO and other Melbourne events if you don’t need or want to be in CBD. Very clear and detailed check-in instructions and good value for size and location.
Great location, trams outside the front door, restaurants and cafes close by. Spacious with lots of natural light. Being the owner's 'home away from home' it was difficult to determine what foods, drinks etc were the owner's and what were for guests. As mentioned in the site description, the flat does have three sets of fairly steep and narrow steps to negotiate. Parking is on the street and this is restricted to two hours during the day.
This lovely apartment in Brighton East was a perfect family holiday base. The property is as photographed, very comfortable with lots of space for everyone. Well stocked amenities so we could start functioning immediately, and the kids beds, toys, cutlery etc were really helpful. Super comfy beds and couches, and a high ceiling atrium feel made relaxing lovely. Great to have a full kitchen, washer/dryer and two bathrooms, so we could function as normal with everyone’s needs. Wonderful coffee and a small supermarket just on the street below, and the balcony was great spot to tram watch, while also a quick drive away from the train line. Amazing bonus, we had a great view of the city NYE fireworks! Jacqueline was super friendly, helpful and timely in her responses. Highly recommended
Nice spaces. Very complex staircases. A few cleaning issues... And lights were very complicated to find, some didn't work. eg could not turn off entrance light from upstairs.
Access into shower could be dangerous, as very slippery. Lovely views over Melbourne skyline. And I enjoyed the spaces and feel.
Spacious three bedroom home in quiet residential area outside the city center. Nice open floor plan living area and two great decks (with city skyline views in the distance). Easy communication with owners and simple check in. Renters do walk by the downstairs office but we did not see anyone on Fri-Sunday. Steps away from two coffee shops and several restaurants and small convenience store-grocery and pharmacy. On last stop of 64 Tram that offers cheap (though slow!) direct route to CBD. Do note the description regarding stairs—there are quite a few so those with very heavy luggage or with mobility impairments should plan accordingly.
Thanks for sharing your home with us. Great location and wonderfully comfortable home. Coffee and breakfast across the road a bonus, plus the No.64 tram worked a treat.
Overall, we had a wonderful time preparing and recuperating for our wedding. The property itself is unique and was a great location for pre wedding photos. For us, the location was great and we very much enjoyed the unique spaces, particularly the outdoor bathtub on the balcony.
The perfect apartment for our short stay. Such a beautiful space and so well designed. Loved having an outside bath under the stars.
Fantastic local shops for coffee and eats. Loved it!
We had a fabulous long weekend away! Great place with a beautiful city view. And the bath was magnificent! 👌🙌❤️

Hi, my name is Jacqueline and I host the City Views In Brighton East townhouse. My husband designed and built the development back in 2015 which we gladly called home for several years. Now that we have relocated to Cape Otway Victoria to renovate a homestead we would like to open this space and share it with you.
