Welcome to Oak & Ember House, a luxuriously renovated country cottage where elegance, warmth, and a hint of playful indulgence come together in the heart of Bundanoon. Set on 1200m2 of beautifully established gardens, this four bedroom retreat is the perfect backdrop for slow mornings, long lunches, and star studded evenings in the private 8 person spa.

The primary living area features an expansive kitchen, living and dining area with a soaring cathedral ceiling. Full height windows capture views out to the lush gardens. This space also features a large wood burning fireplace – perfect for those chilly Highland evenings.
The house also has a second living room, or as we like to call it, the ‘Whiskey Room’. This room has an old-world charm and is adorned with books and decorative vintage pieces to really give it that warm and cosy feel. The Whiskey Room also has a gas fireplace to enjoy –perfect with a whiskey/ red wine in hand. The room has plenty of seating and is a great space to gather with friends or to snuggle up with a book.

A beautifully renovated open plan kitchen with high end appliances, gas cooktop, a 3m island with bar stools and walk-in pantry stocked with cooking essentials. This kitchen is perfect for you chefs out there!
The ideal space for creating memorable meals—or simply opening a bottle of wine and grazing.

A large covered entertaining deck flows directly from the main living space out to the gardens. Your perfect setting for al fresco dining, relaxing, or sharing stories as day turns to dusk.

A luxurious eight-seater spa sits within the sunken firepit area of the garden. Magical at night, refreshing during the day. (please note - the spa area is currently a work in progress – decking to come!) Please always supervise children.

The house offers one main bathroom plus an ensuite off the master bedroom. Both feature marble floors, heated underfloor heating and cosy vintage lighting for that hotel level comfort.

The garden also features a sunken firepit area—ideal for toasting marshmallows and stargazing.

Enjoy a short 15-minute stroll to Bundanoon’s village centre where you will find cafés, shops and friendly locals- everything you need for a relaxed Highlands stay.
