The perfect chalet and location for families
We stayed last week (easter holidays) at Julien's chalet and had the best time. We were 3 families made up of 6 adults and 6 children and the chalet was absolutely perfect for us.
The chalet itself was fantastic and the location made it the perfect place for us. The slopes are less than a minute's walk away. You just cross the quiet road, go between a couple of buildings, put your skis on and ski down a blue slope straight to the lifts and ski schools at either Plagne Village or Plagne Centre. So easy. There's also a free bus every 20 minutes from right outside the chalet if you don't want to ski down.
The chalet itself was great. Very clean and had everything you need... including the essentials of a nespresso coffee machine, dishwasher, boot warming rack and a ski locker! There were enough bathrooms for each room to have its own, so no sharing needed. The communal area was large and the dining table more than big enough for us all to eat together.
Julien was the perfect host, helping answer any questions we had. He owns the ski shop below the chalet (you don't hear any noise etc) and I'd recommend getting your equipment from there. Also plenty of free parking outside. We had 3 cars and had no problems parking. Our ski holiday has never been so easy! We will definitely be returning to La Plagne and will 100% be staying at this chalet again if its available.
