My family and I absolutely loved L’Escapade! It was very clean, located in the best neighborhood, and my granddaughter especially enjoyed the heated pool! We were able to walk and/or ride our bikes into Seaside which was a plus. I would definitely stay here again!
My family of 9 stayed for a week, 2 adults 6 kids, 1 infant. The place was great. Beach access was pretty easy even with all the kids. The pool was great for days we didnt make it back to the beach after lunch.
Great house, setup and location for our family on spring break. Property management was great to work with. Our family would definitely stay there again.
My family and I had a wonderful time here. Pool, cold AC, enclosed patios and close to the beach. The daily allowance for beach rentals a good perk as well. We opted for bikes so we could ride to Seaside and Grayton Beach State Park.
Great family spot on a quiet street close to Seaside
We very much enjoyed our stay here. The house is very well setup with everything you need. The location at the end of a cul-de-sac is quiet and perfect for families, as the main drag is very busy and would be a little nerve racking with littles going outside to play. We will definitely be returning here on our next trip to the pan handle.
We had a great week in Seagrove with two of our daughters. Everything at the house was as described. It was a close walk to the beach and Seaside was within walking distance as well.
This house has all the amenities that you have in your own home, so there is no need to worry about things that are not provided because they are for your use. Great pool and deck along with a very comfortable layout of house.
Restaurants are all basically a 5 minute drive.
We had great amenities at L’escapade. The kitchen had plenty of pots, pans, plates and glasses. It was a little dated, but very clean and comfortable. An easy walk to the 30A/395 beach access.
We had an amazing week at L'escapade! House was perfect. Very clean. Kitchen was very well stocked with appliances, dishes, and all the extras you need for a getaway (i.e. spices galore, ziplocs, cookware, etc...). Heated pool was a huge bonus. Living area was so comfy and bright!
Will definitely book again!!!
Very nice house. Well setup with 3 main bedrooms downstairs and kids style bedroom upstairs in the loft. Spiral staircase up to the loft was fun for my kids (7 & 10) but my parents (75 and 78) did not like visiting them up there. The pool was lovely and refreshing and didn't need to be heated (memorial Day week). The VayK crash supplies credit was nice and allowed us to get the things we valued and not the things we didn't. The walk/bike to the beach was fairly straightforward and definitely manageable, with good sidewalks on the main streets and quiet traffic on the neighborhood street. But it wasn't so close you were going to run back and forth during the day for bathroom breaks or anything. Definitely a nice place, well setup, and stocked with towels and good pots/pans etc. Would happily stay there again.
We had a great stay at L’escapade, and Payton was very helpful when we had questions. Their binder was very thorough and easy to quickly look something up. Their recommendations on local restaurants was spot-on. We were close enough to walk to the beach and did that often. We had 4 teen girls who loved hanging out at the pool! This was the best-stocked house we’ve ever stayed in. The kitchen had everything we could ask for and the house was spotless.
This house was amazing! It was perfect for my family. The neighborhood was very quiet and the neighbors were so kind. This house felt had everything we needed from extra pool towels, chairs, boogie boards, and some extra pool floats.
Payson was very responsive when I had questions about recommendations about dining and activities in the area.
Our family will definitely be returning here for our next beach trip.
The location of the house was awesome. The house itself was great!!! Very clean. Large pool, that we all thoroughly enjoyed. The house was furnished with everything one would need. We have stayed in this location for the past few years but not this house before. Would definitely stay again and encourage anyone else to do the same. You won’t regret it. The house is surrounded by beautiful greenery. We had a great time and can’t wait to return!!! Lastly, the host, Mrs Payson was so easy to deal with and a wonderful help. We had no complaints.Until next year Florida,The Richard’s (Louisiana)
The property was a good find very close to downtown Seaside. The property was reflected well in the listing. Very private, quiet and the pool was a great option to use. Overall the property was nice but had a slight musty smell and could use some TLC and updates. Also heads up that the beds are pretty firm so if you like a more comfy or soft bed might want to bring memory foam toppers. We rented a golf cart to make trips around the area easier. The closest beach access is only walk up access (no parking, bikes or golf carts). The rental credit and the provided beach chairs made the experience even better. The in-unit washer and dryer was nice and made sure we came home with no dirty laundry. This is a local family property and that was nice to see and have familial touches.
The house was just what we expected based on the listing. The pool was so fun to have. We would go to the beach in the mornings and hang at the pool in the afternoons. It was about three blocks to the beach but on a hot day it was much easier to take the bikes that we rented as a part of the rental. You can't beat the beach access. It wasn't crowded at all and had crystal clear blue water. Being able to walk to Seaside was great too. We had older lids and would let them walk there by themselves too. It all felt very safe and charming.
I would highly recommend.
