The house was very clean and very well stocked. Everything was labeled which made the stay very easy. Loved the backyard! And the front porch! Location was great for access to the south hills and downtown.

Overall decent stay. House was clean and check-in was seamless. House layout was a bit different than expected and not ideal for baby and elder parents, however not surprising knowing Pittsburgh's hilly landscape. Was great for dog but yard was infested with ticks.

I’ll be arranging for Witt, our trusted pest control company, to come out and spray for ticks. They specialize in both interior and exterior treatments to provide a thorough and effective solution. While being in a wooded area can occasionally lead to ticks appearing, the fully fenced yard does help reduce their presence by keeping deer out. Your input is incredibly valuable in helping us address this proactively and maintain a safe and enjoyable environment.

This was a great property. Dog friendly for sure. Two sets of steps to get in, but other than that, just steps for the basement area. Dogs loved the fenced yard. It was a very comfortable stay. The road is very busy, but people seemed to be understanding if they saw me backing out of the driveway. Lots of tvs to choose from, and places to hang

We were so very pleased with Chesleah’s home. It was easy to see that she loves her home and goes out of her way to provide every comfort for her guests. We loved our stay and think Chesleah must be a very sweet person, indeed!!

Highly recommend

Great host, location and property! It had everything we needed and more, was clean, and check in and out was very easy. The host was absolutely wonderful and very accommodating. I would definitely stay there again!

Great for Families with a Dog!

Everything was beautifully decorated and laid out for our family's stay, and everyone found a space that they could enjoy, even our dog, who enjoyed the spacious fenced-in yard! We also enjoyed playing some of the board games that were available.

Family Reunion in Bethel Park

Stayed for a long weekend to visit family in BP. This house is great for accessing all things in Pittsburgh(public rail transportation is just down the street). Inside of the house is very comfortable and clean. Our Golden Doodles loved the big back yard!

The hostess with the mostest

Chesleah was phenomenal. She was there for me anytime I needed her and was very communicative. Definitely going to be coming back whenever I hit town absolutely obsessed.

Stop scrolling! This is THE PERFECT SPOT.

This adorable house is the perfect spot. The attention to detail is amazing. A well stocked kitchen, so comfy beds, space to spread out, close to downtown-what else could you ask for! Check-in process was a breeze. Communication with Chelsea was superb! Will be booking again for our summer visit in the Burgh.

The best little family reunion

This house was exactly what we needed to visit family in Pittsburgh! We had 7 adults stay in the house and each little family unit had their own space. There was plenty of common space for us to hang out, watch football, eat food, and play games. Chesleah was so great at communication leading up to and through our stay! If we needed anything she was there for us! The kitchen is well stocked and the house is clean, comfortable, and nicely decorated. We would absolutely stay here again!

Not as secure as advertised

The backyard is not fully secure like said and our dogs got out multiple times easily. Needs to be fixed before others stay and find their dogs missing too. Need to bring your own paper goods including paper towels and garbage bags….

Overall it was a nice property. The only issues were the AC unit on the main floor bedroom, issues with the code access, and the bugs. The AC unit in the first floor bedroom didn't vent the heat outside, so the unit blew both hot and cold air, which made the room uncomfortable. The bugs were everywhere. It would be better if it was treated a few times during the year to reduce the impact to people who stay there. Lastly, it was required to download an App to get access to the house, which we did. However the App couldn't download the code needed to unlock the door. We had the leave the back slider unlocked, so that we could get access after the host let us in the first day. Not ideal, but we made it work. Other than the minor hiccups, we did like the house and we would stay there again.

Our property is treated quarterly for pests both inside and outside, with the most recent service conducted on 7/9/25, just two weeks before your stay. I'm sorry to hear about any inconvenience, but unfortunately, I wasn’t made aware of any issues with bugs during your stay. If you had let me know, I could have arranged for Witt to come out and address the problem promptly. Additionally, regarding the door access, the code provided allows you direct entry by inputting it into the front door keypad. Using the app is not a requirement for access. I’m glad we were able to work through any challenges together, and I appreciate your feedback as it helps improve future stays.

Cleanliness and security

The owner was very communicative and responsive. However, the cleaner of the property is extremely incompetent. The owner did waive our cleaning fee and had the cleaner come back out but everything was still dirty. From the dishes having food on them, to our pillows being stained, everything was gross. We had to smell everything to make sure it was clean before using it. The house was in a great area and the layout is nice. You can tell the owner or some work into making it look nice but it has not been kept up on. There was a mouse in the basement and mild in one of the bedrooms. I love the owner but I would not stay there again. Also the security system didn't work. The screen wouldn't load on the main floor nor the basement and the owner couldn't get it fixed.

Perfect for family and my dog!

The Dog Haus is the place to stay in Bethel Park, PA. This house and the host are the definition of perfect! We had four kids under 10 and 3 adults stay for 4 days. There was space for everyone and the house had all of the amenities we ever needed. My dog, Andy, LOVED the yard and found plenty of places to lounge inside. The dining table is large and accommodated all of us at meal time. The dining area, surrounded by windows, looks out onto the big, grassy back yard. We felt secure in the home and even though there are plenty of windows to look outside, the layout of the property still gave us privacy. Our host was easy to communicate with and promptly answered any questions that arose. If you are looking for a place to stay in this area(especially if you want a pet friendly place), then this is where you need to stay!! Thank you for giving us a place to relax!!!!

Lil Dog Haus was great for the family!

We came in to visit family in a neighboring township. This house is exactly as pictured, both dog and kid friendly in a nice neighborhood. It’s close to shopping, restaurants, and can easily access downtown. I would rent it again!

Weekend getaway

We enjoyed our time in bethel park. The house was great four our large group and 2 dogs. It was a great location to get to all the places we wanted to do. Chesleah responded quickly with questions I had. I recommend this property.
