Summary:
Located in the heart of the Bishop Arts District. If you appreciate great architecture, custom details and want a boutique guest experience, this is your place. Easy access to all major highways, downtown Dallas and walking distance to the areas best amenities. PLEASE NOTE: QUIET HOURS ARE 10:30pm - 6:30am.

The Space:
This unit is on the ground floor and has great interior details that include built in custom veneered cabinets, full wall-to-wall tile in bathroom, polished concrete floors, stainless appliance package, concrete counter tops, large pantry, fully furnished kitchen wares, place settings for 4, large closet, blackout shades, VOC free paint and stackable washer/dryer. This unit sleeps two people on one king bed and one can sleep on the oversized couch. Air mattress available upon request. Located walking distance to all the area's best amenities.

Guest Access:
Guest have access to the parking lot, breezeway seating area, and front courtyard seating area.

The Neighborhood:
The Bishop Arts District is a neighborhood rich in history, and was the site of Dallas' busiest trolley stop in the 1930s. Since the area's revitalization, the Bishop Arts District has been featured in the New York Times, USA Today and The Daily Beast for its small-town feel, hidden-gem appeal, and close-knit community. Located in the heart of North Oak Cliff, the Bishop Arts District is home to over 60 independent boutiques, restaurants, bars, coffee shops, and art galleries, making it one of Dallas' most unique neighborhoods.

Getting Around:
Uber: Readily available and can get you downtown Dallas in 7 minutes and approximately $7.

Dlink Bus: Bus stop is out in front of the building on the adjacent property. Search DART to learn about pricing and schedules.

Dallas Street Car: Local stop is at Zang and Davis .4 miles from the building. Runs 7 days a week to Downtown Dallas from 5:30 am to midnight and is Free. Frequency is every 20 minutes.


Guest have access to the parking lot, breezeway seating area, and front courtyard seating area.

Interaction with Guests:
I work closely with my co-host assistant Alex to make your trip the best it can be. She and I both live in the neighborhood and are available for simple questions and more serious concerns. We love helping guests but also have kids and busy lives. Most questions can be answered by reviewing the listing information and we are available to answer everything else.

Great Location

My husband and I had a date night and wanted to explore the Bishop Arts District! We loved the location of this condo! We were able to walk easily to all the shops and restaurants. The bed was comfy and we enjoyed the message chair- such a neat feature and actually was pretty good! We would stay here again! Recommend going to the Kessler Theater and watching a show that was the highlight of our trip!

Spacious Loft in Art District

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the Art District. The loft was spacious, very clean and located a block away from all kinds of little shops and places to eat. We felt very safe in this area. A lot people were out walking their pets in the morning. We had a competition at the Convention Center in Dallas and had no trouble getting to and from the loft each day. I highly recommend staying here!

We were in Dallas to attend our daughter’s graduation from physical therapy school at TWU. The Bishop Arts Hotel is located in the heart of the Bishop Arts section of Dallas. There are a myriad of eclectic shops and restaurants within easy walking distance. Perfect location, great stay!

This place was super clean and the neighborhood was nice and safe. The only complain that I have is the parking lot is very small. We drove my husband's F-250 and we were unable to get out of the parking area once the lot was full. If this had been communicated up front, we would have drove a different vehicle.

Awesome unique condo in the heart of Bishop Arts District!

Stayed here as a quick getaway with just my wife and I (break from the kiddos!). We wanted to check out Bishop Arts District in Dallas and you couldn’t get a better location to where it all was happening. Literally barely a 3-5 minute walk to the center of the District. The place itself was super cool, trendy and overall vibin. We got the Suite 2, and it was plenty of room for both of us. Everything worked perfectly, the kitchen was more than enough for what we needed, living area was super comfortable and the bed itself was relaxing. A huge bonus was the awesome massage chair, my wife and I must have used that like 4-5 times each the entire weekend there, such an awesome touch. We dealt with Alex and he was very friendly and responsive and made sure all our needs was met! This for sure will be a staple in our rotation of places to stay, no doubt. Highly recommend staying here!

Clean, modern loft

Had a short stay in Dallas and this place was perfect. Easy access to the condo, very convenient parking, and a very clean modern setup inside. The property manager was very responsive to questions. Also enjoyed the neighborhood - was able to walk to some local spots for food or coffee. Would definitely stay again!

Bishop Arts Lofts

The apartment was roomy and the bed comfortable. No bedside lamps, though. The bathroom had a useful counter for cosmetics, etc. Detergent for one use of the clothes washer was available, and coffee and filters were available for the coffeemaker. The location was very convenient to restaurants. We happened to be there during the Mardi Gras parade in Bishop Arts, so that was a fun experience. Off-street parking was convenient and necessary due to the street traffic. Since we had lots of flight issues (due first to covid, and later to the Dallas weather) I communicated frequently with the host and most everything was rearranged successfully. The only problem we had was with the WIFI. It went out on us, and although I reported it immediately, it didn't get fixed during the last two days we stayed on the property. So the technical part of the "team" wasn't as responsive as the reservations manager.

Excellent location

We were absolutely thrilled every day of our trip by how lovely the walk was to all of the stores and eateries. I’d definitely stay here again! The apartment was more hotel style than other rentals I’ve been in, so it’s just up to what you want in a visit.

Hard to beat

The absolute best thing about this place minus the amenities of the apartment is its location. It’s as close as you possibly get to the best of Bishop Arts without actually living in Eno’s or Oddfellow’s.

My husband and I loved staying here! The location was fabulous! Walking distance to all the great restaurants, shops, etc. in the Bishop Arts District. Loft had basic amenities with a great air conditioner! Full kitchen with ice maker. Plenty of linens and king bed comfortable. Ceiling fan didn't work (batteries dead in control?). Wish there had been coffee and supplies to go with the tiny coffee maker. Unable to stop up bathroom sink for husband to shave and shower only (tub doesn't have a stopper). There is a great massage chair that only acts as a recliner...no controls to actually "massage". Overall this was a great place for a weekend get away.

Construction of the B.A. Lofts was completed in the fall of 2016 and is a ten unit building that accommodates short and long term guests. The goal for this project was to create a building that blended into the historical fabric of the Bishop Arts District while becoming an architectural high point of its own and celebrated by many generations to come. Since its opening in 2016 this new construction building has been the goto property for short term stays in the Bishop Art District. The building offers all the best comforts of new construction with a unique and custom design aesthetic that only this building can offer. This is the first choice for design minded travelers looking for a boutique accommodation. The property owner and developer of the building is not only your host but a long time neighborhood resident. A 21 year real estate professional he has built a dedicated management team that focuses on dependable professional services, something that is often missing in short term rental properties. All details have been considered and this property is one of the few offering each guest with a computer generated door code unique to each booking. Christian and his team are always eager to meet new travelers and help facilitate a great travel experience in the Bishop Arts District neighborhood.
