Very Pleasant Stay

We really enjoyed our stay. The property was very convenient to the event we were attending. The house was clean and the large backyard was great. Would definitely stay here again.

Functional fun

Close to all of the things we needed . Lake stores and food! The house was very comfortable. The best stocked kitchen I have ever been to for a guest house. Beds were so very comfortable. Definitely will be back.

Very clean place

The house is an older house, but we found it to be clean and overall, a nice stay.Pros:Plenty of rooms and spaceCleanCons:Welcoming communication was the least of any house we had stayed at.There was no check-out info sentDriveway is very steep entrance and that was not mentioned. Our midsize SUV was close to dragging on entrance and exit.Although not a requirement - it's the first house we had been to that had no soap or shampoo provided.Toilet paper was the thinnest toilet paper we have ever seen

This little cottage is so much better in person than the pictures convey. We had so much fun and the hosts of this little abode could not have been more kind! Book it, and you won’t be disappointed. I am SUPER picky about these things too!!

Hiking in Kentucky

Greetings, I booked the trip to go hiking in Kentucky. Hiking is only fun if we can bring our Pitbull and our German Shepherd. The house was wonderful for us and for the dogs. There was plenty of room for all of us in the house and there was a generous back yard.to enjoy The locations of the house is outstanding, there is a shopping center across the street. Walmart and a Dollar Store in walking distance. I forgot my shampoo at home and walked directly in the Dollar Store around the corner to buy some. One is out in the country but there are all the conveniences of the city too, the best of both worlds. The inside of the house is very cozy with all one can ask for, there is sufficient room for 5-10 people. All people were super nice, one could feel that they wanted us "tourists" in the area, and they loved talking to us. I had some enjoyable exchanges with the workers of the store across the street. The local cuisine is excellent. We ate at the restaurants around us and enjoyed some of the local beverages. There is a "Big Boy" Restaurant nearby, they serve breakfast. We loved this place, we don't have "Big Boy" in our home area. The hiking was outstanding. Cumberland Falls was a lifetime experience I wound't want to miss, so are all the sandstone arches around London. I would recommend this house, this host, this location and this type of vacation to all people with children or dogs.

The Perfect Stay

Evelyn’s cottage was wonderful! The hosts were easy to work with and were very accommodating. The house was well-stocked, and everything we needed for meals was there-except the food, of course. Laundry detergent and fabric softener were available for us to do our laundry. We didn’t take any dirty laundry home. I will stay there again if the situation brings me back to the area.

Lovely, spacious, and clean! Private, yet convenient location.

We really enjoyed our stay. The home was spacious, clean, and well equipped. The home, especially the bedrooms, we’re very inviting & beautifully decorated. The kitchen was well stocked with all we needed. It was also very nice to use the washer & clothes dryer. The hosts even supplied the detergent & fabric softener. It was nice to not be surrounded by other homes, yet an easy walk to stores & restaurants.

This was perfect for our 4th of July weekend. We were a short drive to the lake which was great. The house was adorable and very well stocked.

Great Cottage in the middle of town!

It had been a year since we had seen our family, so when we planned our visit, we were so happy to find a place near family that would allow us to bring the family pet. The house was well appointed and charming and the gas stove was fun to cook on! I only wish the weather had been nicer so we could have had the chance to use the grill while we were there. Maybe next time! The house is located within walking distance of Walmart and a great Habachi restaurant! But it still felt private enough to walk the dog in pajamas! Would totally rent again!

Nice cabin!

Nice cabin for our family to meet up to go ATV riding! Parking is great for trucks with trailers. Spacious and great amenities! Close to restaurants and shopping, nice quite area.

Staying at Evelyn’s Cottage

This property is as advertised and in a great spot for our motorcycle trip. We were able to ride all day and come back to a quiet neighborhood with restaurants within walking distance or with delivery. Well insulated spacious bedrooms allowing privacy and easy sleeping. We would definitely recommend this place for a group of friends or family! Thank you to the owners for honest advertising.
