Casa El Delfin, 1st Floor - Main Level- Estacahuite

Casa El Delfin is a 3-level house only steps away from one of the most beautiful & peaceful beaches on the Pacific coast in Oaxaca, Mexico. It's located on the bay of Estacahuite just 5 minutes away from Puerto Angel (a small fishing village) & 45 minutes from Huatulco Airport. This fully furnished rental is for the main level (1st flr.) with a private entry. It has 2-bedrooms, 1 bathroom with full-size kitchen, dining & living room. The ocean view from the house is unforgettable.

Casa El Delfin is made up of three separate apartments all equipped with consistent Starlink WiFi access and air conditioned. There are ceiling fans in all rooms. Each living room is equipped with a Smart TV. There is also a rooftop bungalow available for renting.

The 1st Floor (Main Floor) {this listing} has 2 bedrooms each with 2 matrimonial/queen-sized beds. There is 1 bathroom with a full-size kitchen, dining room and living room all completely furnished. This floor has its own terrace and mini palapa with attached bar-top table. This space is 3 steps down from the street entrance.

You will be able to view the beautiful sunrise and sunsets everyday of your stay at Casa El Delfin. You will have full access to 3 beaches to snorkel, swim, scuba dive, or just enjoy the sounds and breeze of the ocean air. There's some of the most beautiful coral reefs and fish in this area. There are several open-air restaurants/bars on the beach close to the house and small grocery stores in the neighborhood for your convenience. This is truly paradise.

Casa El Delfin, Entire House can also be rented for big family events and gatherings. The total house (all 3 levels included) could accommodate up to 16 people comfortably.

All levels share a secure parking area and BBQ grilling space. There's also plenty of on-street parking. If the 3rd level (rooftop bungalow) is not rented out, all guests will have full access to the rooftop for sunbathing and enjoy the beautiful views. Each floor has its own terrace space with hammocks to enjoy the ocean view. There are also tables, chairs, & benches for outdoor dining. Kayaks and life vests are available for our guests free of charge. There are exterior security cameras 24/7.

There will be a building staff member available 24/7 for your convenience and will greet and let guests in when you arrive.

We do have external security cameras (no audio). There are no interior cameras. They are installed for the entrances to the property and in the exterior terrace passage areas. These are on at all times. This is for liability and safety measures for our guests.

The location of this property is perfect. The beach is right in front and takes 30 seconds to walk there. Beautiful swimming and snorkeling with food and drinks at the beach available. Very roomy sccommodations with everything you need

Very unique experience at the end of a road. Felt very safe, beautiful ocean views. Neighborhood not too walkable for older folks but fine for young healthy people. The small beach was pristine was the best we visited in the entire area.

Quaint getaway

The residence is lovely and close to the small beach. The road is steep and narrow getting to the area but this adds to the quietness. The area has a general feel of authenticity with rustic cantinas. Did note new buildings going up nearby. They waves were a bit bigger than we thought but beautiful to watch and can swim near shore. We enjoyed the simplicity of this place and felt relaxed.

Exactly what we needed

We wanted a quiet vacation away from tourism. This is exactly what we got. We took their rental to the grocery store (not walking distance) and stocked up for breakfast and lunch/dinner was mostly on the beach w one of the local seafood restaurants. The local people were super friendly and helpful. There were life jackets but not sure if they had any for kids, because we brought our own. There is a snorkel rental too, across the street. We spoke Spanish and it was a plus for the property manager whose Spanish was his first language. LLSI, the manager was super attentive. The beach is small and serene. Some days it’s choppy, other days it’s calm. Excellent time. There are ants around too, but if you keep your food in the fridge it’s totally manageable. I highly recommend of you want something simple and restful.

Perfect Week at the Beach

We looked at several properties and really wanted somewhere we could comfortably stay with our two kids and be near the beach. We wanted them to be able to swim, snorkel, and play at the beach easily but not be all crammed into a hotel or have to buy food out for every meal. Casa Delfin fit the bill and we were so pleased with Luis and Felicia’s helpful and quick communication. They helped to set us up with a ride with Diego, who was so kind and a careful driver. His car had a/c too, which felt really nice on a hot day. Check in went smoothly and Andrea showed us around the house, helped with bags, and gave us the 411 on which beach was best for the kids. Throughout the stay, she was available to help with taxis and laundry, which really made everything so smooth. The house is so perfect for a family- plenty of beds, spices and pans for cooking, wifi, drinking water, and of course, a gorgeous porch for enjoying the view of the ocean. The tv was sometimes a little laggy- maybe it needs a hardwired internet connection, but the wifi speed was good for us on our personal devices, so it wasn’t a big deal. Luis and Felicia’s recommendations for meals were spot on as well. We really enjoyed Cafe Sicaru, which was just reopening after hurricane/new baby. Overall, it was an excellent stay. I felt jealous of myself as I walked just a few steps home from the beach and showered off with the outdoor shower. Oh- the kayaks and snorkel gear were perfect too!

We built our home on this property to totally take advantage of the spectacular views and sea breezes of the Pacific Ocean. There is an amazing view from every room. You are literally just steps away from one of the most beautiful and peaceful beaches in the area. Casa el Delfin is suited for all guests, whether you're on your honeymoon or vacationing with your whole family, we can accommodate you. Our home is very spacious, clean, secure, cozy and welcoming. What makes this property unique

If you're looking for paradise, you've found it here. This is the perfect place to relax and spoil yourself with all the natural beauty that surrounds you. This is a very friendly, safe, area full of the richness of the Mexican culture, good food and shopping from artisans for keepsakes. If you're looking for the night life, just minutes away you'll find nearby Puerto Angel, Zipolite and Mazunte.

Puerto Angel (small fishing village) is a short walk away by the main road and you'll find a couple of small supermarkets and a fruit/vegetable market, as well as some beach restaurants and street food. Medical services are also available.

Pochutla, 20 minutes away by car, is the favored market town for this large area and where you'll find all you need for food shopping, banks, & main hospital.

Estacahuite is pretty peaceful. At times, there may be dogs barking and roosters in the morning, music playing & fireworks especially around the holidays, and possible construction sounds which are all part of the neighborhood. We do have a 12:00 am (midnight) quiet time at our home.
