The Villa St-Leon - Vallée Jeunesse Québec

Villa St-Leon is located in the middle of nature, on an enchanting site, on the banks of the Jacques-Cartier River. This house in the forest, which can accommodate 19 people, is accessible by car, and you will also have access to the outdoor activities of Vallée Jeunesse. Just a few minutes from the famous Village Vacances Valcartier, this house is perfect for travellers who want a quiet and friendly place, as well as proximity to the biggest attractions for sightseeing.

Waking up in nature every morning, visiting Old Quebec in the same day, going home to dinner with friends and enjoying an outdoor fire or in the fireplace of the house, that`s the agenda waiting for you! Villa St-Leon is vast and warm. You will find all the amenities for cooking, as well as bedding and bath towels. Note that the BBQ is only available during the summer season.

Surrounded by giant trees, near a river, your stay will be a perfect balance between the outdoors and urban life. 30 minutes from Old Quebec, you can easily drive to the heritage sites not to be missed, and enjoy the nature decor of your travel home. Ideal for groups of friends, families, or even lake-to-shoulder business meetings, the house is vast and allows everyone to retreat lonely or to experience an unforgettable holiday as a group.

Like a resort estate, the site of the Valley has several other houses and cottages, gathering places, and access to the Jacques-Cartier River. The places are quiet and conducive to exchanges, gatherings, unforgettable moments. Each visitor will feel like they live out of time, the space of a stay.

ACCESS
Access is easy by car and you can easily get to Old Quebec in 30 minutes. In addition, you will be just a few minutes from the famous Village Vacances Valcartier, a tourist site for indoor (Bora Park) and outdoor water slides in summer, and tube slides in winter. Plus, in a few minutes by car, you can enjoy many resort experiences, such as a day at Le Castor Golf Course, a visit to the Ice Hotel, a rafting experience, or a day at the magnificent Aroma Spa. The Valcartier military base is also accessible to visitors, through the Le Castor center.

OTHER THINGS TO KNOW
Following the visit of some city dwellers, we would like to clarify that being in nature, surrounded by trees and near the river, it is quite normal to see flies, mosquitoes and other usual insects. Be sure to hold the doors close and bring a repellent to make your stay even more enjoyable.
Also note that the chalet is centenary, it comes naturally with faults;-).

BBQs are only available approximately during the months of May - September.
The river is open to swimming and fishing during the summer.

CATERING WORK
Villa St-Leon is undergoing restoration work to preserve its heritage character and original character. During your stay, you will discover a refreshed ground floor with a renovated kitchen as well as some restored floors.

The photos currently displayed in the listing partially reflect the current condition of the property since some interior spaces will have been restored by your stay, while outdoor restoration work will continue over the summer.

Specifically, the exterior appearance of the villa may differ from the photos displayed and scaffolding could be visible on site.

Depending on the progress of the work, a one-time presence of workers could also take place on weekdays during the day. Mild to moderate noises may occasionally be noticeable.

Access to the Villa is suitable and safe during this time.
