Sejour en famille

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour pour Noël dans la maison de Dominique. Marie Line qui s'est occupée de nous est très sympathique et réactive. Les quelques soucis rencontrés avec le four ou l'eau, on était réglé de main de maitre par Marie Line .

tres gde maison agreable et bien située , gd terrain clos avec portail au de centre de saint francois a coté de la gendarmerie precision cependant , la photo laisse penser que l on est a la campagne , mais pas du tout ,on est en ville avec une rue tres passante en face , un immeuble en face et un quartier derriere , mais cela ne nous as absolument pas derangé , d autant que pour le depart du carnaval on etait aux premieres loges ! , sejour tres agreable dans cette maison , petit detail les serviettes de bains ne sont pas fournies ,je confirme que les guadeloupéens sont tres accueillants ...sauf les coqs ! beaucoup trop matinaux ;-)

Nice place

The house is very nice, clean, enough space for 6 (4 adults and 2 child) with 3 large bedrooms Check-in process was a little bit difficult, the exact location should be sent via a link, it was hard to find it. In St-François there is often water shortage for 12 hours they have been prepared water in containers and provided big water bottles. We did not have hot water for 2 days, we found it was due to air in the pipes following water shortage, need to open the faucet for a long period of time. A lot of car noise comes from the street, but becomes more calm during the night. Air conditioning in the bedrooms only is well appreciated. Beddings are included but not bath towels. Kitchen well equipped. Dinning room has a big table for 6, but we always ate outside on the balcony which also has a table for 6. Land around the house is big enough to play with kids, with sometimes had the visit of hens and a roaster. There is a clothesline, a shower outside to remove the sand, a fence around the land which is locked with a padlock, parking large enough for 2 small cars. Good contact with the lady from the conciergerie via WhatsApp she is very nice. Need to give a deposit of 300 euros cash or check in case of damage. Except for the street noise, the location was very good, walk distance from a small beach, next to a small grocery, walk distance from the harbour, ( less than 2 km.) to a bakery, market. People are so nice in Guadeloupe!! We really liked this place, thank you!!!

Séjour 10 jours à St-François

Nous avons été bien accueilli dans cette maison près de la mer et la plage. Cependant, nous avons eu 8 coupures d'eau en 10 jours et 4 pannes d'électricité de plusieurs heures. Pas évident de se laver sans eau courante, pour évacuer la toilette, laver la vaisselle, etc...De plus, la maison est devant la route nationale qui est très bruyante. Des motos circulent à vive allure le soir, durant le jour le circulation est dense, camions, bus, etc. Finalement la proprio ne fournit pas le papier de toilette ni les serviettes de bain.
