Excellent!!

Lived up to all the descriptions and reviews. Right on the water (when the tide is up). Alex is extremely helpful for anything you need. We loved the location. Just a short drive from Bordeaux airport and also not far from Cap Ferret. Excellently located! House is also very airy, amazing views and well equipped. It has it all!

Wonderful house

Firstly thank you to Emmanuelle and Alexandre for checking us in, hiring bikes for us, and giving us loads of information on the area. They were very friendly and super communicative. The house is gorgeous, spacious, clean and well equipped. It was wonderful to be right on the beach, to have our morning coffee looking at the birds, the beach and watching the still water of the basin, and to see the amazing sunsets from the terrace while having dinner. We hadn’t realised that the tide would be out all day in the basin so we couldn’t swim, and the drive to the Atlantic with the august traffic took up to an hour, but we still did it most days to see the beautiful lege de cap ferret and the coast with the big waves. We loved the house in Arès, we enjoyed cycling to the boulangerie, the oyster festival and visiting Andernos for the Saint Marie fireworks. Arès itself doesn’t have great restaurants but it has an excellent wine and cheese shop, a good carrefour with late opening, and a fantastic weekly market. The house is fantastic, the only thing we found strange was the protective plastic sheets on the tables, cloth tablecloths would be much nicer. Overall a great place in an interesting area. Thank you!

Un séjour très agréable

Nous avons passé de super vacances. La maison, située directement sur la plage et proche des commerces de proximité, est très agréable. Parfait pour un moment entre amis avec des enfants en bas âge.

La maison est superbe, très bien placée avec magnifique vue. Elle est très agréable et très confortable pour les adultes et les enfants! On a passé un formidable séjour !

Tolles Haus in toller Lage

Ein wunderschönes Objekt in sehr sehr schöner Lage. Wir hatten einen traumhaften Aufenthalt. Es ist Platz für acht Personen. Es gibt eine schöne Terrasse mit einem tollen Blick über das Becken von Arcachon. Der Garten liegt direkt am Strand. Bei Ebbe ist das Wasser allerdings weg, der Blick aber nicht weniger schön. Die Vermieter sind sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und gut erreichbar (französisch und englisch). Es ist alles sauber und ordentlich. Bis zum nächsten Atlantikstrand benötigt man etwa 20 Minuten mit dem Auto. Die Strände sind alle sehr schön und gut erreichbar. Sufkurs und -verleih sind kein Problem. Der Ort und der Nachbarort bieten alles, was man so braucht im Urlaub inklusive mehrerer schöner Restaurants. In Andernos gibt es eine nette, kleine Fußgängerzone mit Strandpromenade. Verbesserungsbedürftig ist (Stand 08/2022) nur die Darstellung der Nebenkosten auf der Seite FEWO. Hier fehlen Kosten für Endreinigung und Kosten für Bettzeug und Handtücher. Hier muss man noch einen nicht ganz kleinen zusätzlichen Betrag einrechnen. Die Zeitung war bisher wohl eher über französische Portale gelaufen. Etwas schwierig ist auch die Kaution, die in Frankreich häufig noch mit Cheques geregelt wird. Da diese in Deutschland so nicht mehr verwendet werden, ist es für uns etwas schwierig gewesen. Man sollte es vorher telefonisch klären. Ansonsten aber sehr empfehlenswert! Gerne wieder! Vielen Dank an Alexandre!
