This beachfront duplex has everything to make this the best vacation ever! Recognized by VRBO as a premier host property, Linda's Lanai features a shared pool and hot tub, extended driveway for multiple cars or a boat, covered parking and washer and dryer. Linda's Lanai East has 3 floors with 5 bedrooms, three of which have breathtaking oceanfront views with their own private deck. The space sleeps 13 and has a large common area with a full kitchen, living room and dining area. The living room couch pulls out to a queen size bed. A private deck leads around the pool area directly to the uncrowded beach for easy access and your own personal spot in paradise! When heading back from the beach, the private walkway features a rinse station for yourself and beach items. For further rinsing off, private outdoor showers are located on the ground floor. An outdoor gas grill is available for cooking the day's catch and enjoy dinner on the back patio pollywood dining table with chairs overlooking the beautiful ocean waves.
Have a large family? Rent both sides, East and West, sleeps 28 with 10 bedrooms and 8 baths. There is an interior connecting door to allow guests access to both sides.

Great girls get-away

We had an amazing time, the house was huge, clean, and well stocked. We enjoyed the easy beach access, hot tub on the cooler days, and laundry for all the towels. Amazing spot to hold all of us!

Family Getaway

Linda's Lanka East was perfect for family, it accommodated all of our needs and was very clean. The beach was "right" there and the pool made a nice filler. We would love to visit again, highly recommend.

Lovely holiday at the beach

We enjoyed our stay at Linda's Lanei. Views from the bedrooms were terrific with excellent sunrise and sunset views. Kitchen is well stocked. Owners were very responsive with timely responses which were highly appreciated.

Thanksgiving at Linda's Lanai East

This is an excellent property for families to enjoy some time at very beautiful Emerald Isle. Check in was extremely easy and our host Jody was very responsive to questions we had during our stay. The location is within 10 minutes of whatever you may need - grocery stores (2) and restaurants. The Dollar General is right around the block for quick trips. The property had everything we needed for our week stay during Thanksgiving.

Much needed break

Needless to say life explosions the last few years necessitated a much needed vacation. Beautiful views, restful home, responsive hosts, and perfect weather made this trip a true blessing.

Amazing find, right on the beach!

This place was everything I was looking for. The rooms are spacious, clean, and comfy. The kitchen was stocked with pretty much anything you might need. The pool and hot tub being right next to the beach was SO relaxing. It was so nice waking up in the morning and sitting on the porch watching the ocean. Amazing place to stay!

This house was perfect for our family. Hosts were very responsive and description is accurate. Could of had some additional tall chairs on the porch to be able to see the ocean. Pool was great!

Nice house right on the beach!

Our weather did not cooperate but house was as pictured! I really liked that there are 3 beach front rooms. The only thing I did not love is the shared pool area.

Overall great stay. One bedroom listed as having sofa bed in addition to queen bed - no sofa bed, only a chair. Very nice facility that needs to consider replacing the carpeting and providing additional basic products like paper towels, toilet paper, as well as kitchen hand towels. Overall, a very comfortable stay.

Great family fun!

This house is very nice and in a great location. Linda was way to work with and a gracious host. Our only issue would be that the kitchen inventory needs to be updated. We are a family that eats in and loves to cook. Highly recommend this house ! Thanks for the great vacation!

Wonderful Week

Our family of 7 adults and 3 children had a wonderful week in this home. The pool and hot tub were great to have available. The rooms were comfortable. Plan to wash the towels that are provided or bring extra. The owners were very responsive when we had a question. We will consider coming back again.

Great place for a large group

Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. The house was clean & welcoming with easy beach access and a great view from 3 balconies. The pool and hot tub were also great perks. Kitchen was well stocked and numerous bathrooms were well appreciated. We had some minor issues with appliances that we were able to resolve (coffee maker, ice maker, dishwasher). It was a great week at the beach and we would definitely consider renting this place again.

Like that location is beachfront. Problem was oven was dirty, we would not use it. Outdoor grill was dirty and we would not use that either. Kids enjoyed pool and hot tub.

Great getaway

Good getaway, with a great location to the beach. Dollar General so close which was great for those last minute things you need to pickup. Good space and layout for families. Only critiques/feedback: pool water was pretty chilly especially the first couple days, but I think the weather had been cold before we got there. Overall the house was clean, but it was the unseen things that were not - blender, cooking dishes, grill etc. And we wished we would have had access to a vacuum while we were there to clean sand - which would help keep the place cleaner in the long run too. Overall, everyone said we would come back again in a heartbeat!

Girlfriends Getaway

We had a group of 6 for an annual GF getaway. This was a perfect location! The attention to details was appreciated. We had a glitch in the keypad but the response time was immediate and it was resolved quickly. Everything was clean, spices and basic needs were available. The ice machine was not working but there was ice provided or left behind in the freezer. My crew was impressed with the crab crackers that were also available as we tried the local seafood which was also so convenient and perfect for our group! We did not have to trave more than 10 minutes to get to anything we needed! Great vacation spot, right on the beach, super convenient!! We plan to return!! Thanks for a great stay!

Melissa and Jody made Carteret County their home after living in Central and Western North Carolina. They have truly immersed themselves in the Salt Life! Jody, a native Marylander and avid home chef, has become very knowledgeable of local seafood and collects his own blue crabs, shrimp and clams. Summer weekends are often spent kayaking in the Sound, enjoying Salt Life with friends on the sand bar or fishing for whatever is in season. In the fall, Jeep rides on the beach followed by a low country boil are a great way to spend the evening!

What separates this beach rental from many of the others, is this property provides all of the amenities to make this the best beach vacation ever! Linda's Lanai is recognized by VRBO as a 5 star premier host rental,.Three of the five bedrooms have sliding glass doors with spectacular, unobstructed beach and ocean views. The fully stocked kitchen has all of the cookware and dinnerware you could possibly need. The private heated pool and hot tub are only accessible to Linda's Lanai East and West guests and sits down inside a private deck walkway for privacy. Boogie boards and beach toys are available to guests. The wooden deck extends around the pool straight to the beach for easy access. There are two stations on the deck to the beach, one has a bench to sit down and organize and the other has a shower station. There are additional out door showers on the ground floor between the house and the pool and that is also where the gas grill is located. There is covered parking for two vehicles and an extended driveway allows for additional parking or boat parking. The ground floor contains a laundry room with washer and dryer.
