Meeteetse is a laid back and friendly town rich in history and beauty. It is home to the Black Footed-Ferret and you can learn about it in the local museum. It has breath taking views and abundant wildlife. It is a fishing, hiking and hunting paradise for many. Explore the Greybull River, Sunshine Lake's, Wood River and Kirwin Ghost Town. Don't forget your camera!

Absaroka Mountain View

We had a great time staying at Kristine’s place. The home was clean, spacious, comfortable, and in a great location. The yard was perfect for the pups. We had everything we needed. It was just what we needed for our stay in Meeteetse.

We’ve stayed here the past two years to attend the Pitchfork Ranch horse sale. The house is great. No issues at all and we love the location.

Relaxation and Comfort

We enjoyed the property and were impressed with the abundant space and amenities. Kristine the host, had the place well stocked and made our stay very easy. We hope to return in another season and immerse ourselves in the beauty of the surrounding area.

Relaxing, convenient, well furnished

This was a perfect place to relax after a few nights out camping. We loved the quaint town with big views, and the location was perfect for us to explore some really fine fly fishing nearby. The home is well stocked, very clean, and the fenced yard was great for our dog. Communication was timely, and check in/out was very simple. Would love to stay again sometime.

Perfect for us, inside and out.

This is the third time we have stayed at this property, and we'll be back. Well equipped, clean, and spacious, it has everything we could expect, and the location is perfect. Host Kristine has paid attention to detail that leaves nothing wanting.

A Beautiful Stay

The property was as advertised in the listings and the pictures were reflective and accurate of the property. If anything the property was understated and the pictures didn’t do it justice. It was well equipped, comfortable and you can’t beat the views.

Perfect Place to Enjoy Cody and Yellowstone

This home away from home had everything we would ever need. Grill in the backyard, pots, pans, plates , glasses and utensils. 2 coffee makers with plenty of coffee and cream. Laundry and dishwashing detergent. It was truly a home away from home.

Nice house in a great location

Great location and nice property. We had to call the property owner once and she responded quickly and addressed the issue. Can’t ask for a better location. We slept with the windows open each night and it was great. Nothing like snow on Memorial Day either!

Worked out for hunting antelope.

Used property for antelope hunting. Spacious house with a large garage for animal processing. If I draw the same area again, I will use again.

Great location and views!

We loved staying here! We could watch horses and sheep grazing the fields behind the house, or watch the sun set over the mountains in the front with the soothing sounds of the river flowing at the bottom of the hill. We played games by the fireplace downstairs and ate dinner at the picnic table in the backyard. There were a lot of thoughtful "extras" around the house too. Only down sides were minor - the downstairs bathroom door doesn't close all the way and the upstairs shower could use a new shower head, my kids wished they had fans in the two upstairs bedrooms. All in all, a wonderful rental and fabulous vacation! Would highly recommend!
