Great location, kind staff, cozy and clean apartment

The apartment was very well maintained and had all the necessary amenities. The location was near lots of restaurants and shops which was very convenient. And the staff were accommodating and helpful. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to stay somewhere in Lisbon.

Shops and restaurants nearby were good and parks close by. The distance to attractions wasn’t accurate on the listing as they were further than stated. The patio want pleasant to sit outside as you could smell garbage from the neighbours and the awning was very dirty. Host Paulo was excellent answering any questions and concerns. Luckily we were both short as anyone over 5 ft 8 would hit their heads on doorways.

Buena estancia

La estancia fue muy buena. El apartamento era pequeño pero perfecto para pasar unos días en pareja. Está bien situado, con estaciones de metro y tren cerca y pudiendo llegar a pie a las zonas más emblemáticas de Lisboa.

El apartamento se sitúa a 5 minutos del centro, cerca de todo lo que se puede visitar. Es práctico y muy acogedor. El dueño presta mucha atención a las dudas, y recomendaciones. Para repetir!

A little small by US standards , but functional for us. Very clean with a great location. Paulo, our greeter was informative and professional and always only a phone call away. Glenn made booking and check-in very easy. A very good first Portugal stay for us.

Perfekte Unterkunft für unseren Städtetrip durch Lissabon.

Nette kleine ruhige Wohnung mitten im Zentrum. Von da aus sind wir überall meist mit der alten Bimmelbahn Linie 28 hingekommen. Es gibt einen kleinen Park um die Ecke, auch da haben wir einen Abend gesessen und noch einen Absacker getrunken. Auf jeden Fall perfekt für eine Städtereise.

Pas conforme à l'annonce ni aux photos.

Nous avons eu la "secret cave" au lieu du "secret garden". Bien placé mais très sombre (peu de lumière naturelle) petite fenêtre opaque au ras du trottoir d'un côté et petit patio (2x2 m) de l'autre avec des murs de 4 m de haut (pas de terrasse !!). La cuvette des toilettes, c'est les genoux et la tête dans la paroi de douche. Bonne literie et équipement correct .. seulement pour y dormir et si pas trop regardant.

Nice for short time

Decent location. Parking was a ten minute walk. Unit was cute. Not completely as described in the listing. I booked it for the view and for washing machine and it didn’t have either. The pics posted were of more than one place. It’s definitely NOT the profile pic place. No view. There’s an outdoor storage room with a table and chairs. Never went out there. The washing machine was supposedly out of order so we had to go to a laundromat once. But the location was good and close to everything. It was very hot. Could’ve used AC but made due. The property manager was great!! Very attentive!!

Typisch portugiesisch

Eine typisch portugiesische Wohnung in der Nähe eines wunderschönen Parks, der zum verweilen einläd. Von Restaurants über Cafés bis hin zu Supermarkt (groß und klein) und Eisdiele ist alles in 500m Radius zu erreichen. Die Wohnung selbst war voll ausgestattet, inklusive Eiswürfel im Froster. Das Badezimmer ist für potugisische Verhältnisse groß(mit Fön) und verfügt über eine Duschkabine (>1qm) mit Massagedusche und sehr angenehmen Wasserdruck, das gab es auch schon anders. Wir hatten direkt mit Paul und Glenn zu tun, beides sehr angenehme Menschen die sich auch für einen Schnack mal 10 Minuten Zeit nehmen.

Nice apt, very small. Good for one person or couple.

Paul was very nice and helpful. Great neighborhood! Close to restaurants, parks and bars. Felt very safe! Bed very comfortable!! Walls thinner than I’m use to, so you can hear people in other apts. The laundry room is across the street, which I saw the morning I was leaving. The Wi-Fi kept going out!! Not great internet service! Bathroom was really small!! Very disappointed with the patio!! Never went out there. It’s closed in and not very welcoming! But overall, I’d stay there again!

Très bien mais en été

L’emplacement de l’appartement est absolument idéal ! Proche des transports et plein de vie. L’appartement est très petit mais ça va pour les vacances. En revanche il est très TRÈS humide ! D’ailleurs, signe qui ne trompe pas, le plafond de la salle de bain est moisi et les serviettes ne sèchent pas. Privilégiez d’y séjourner l’été pour éviter des déconvenues. La terrasse entre 4 murs est franchement pas terrible mais peut-être qu’elle est agréable l’été.

Good for tourists who don't spend much time home

On the downside : the Internet connection is non existent, the bathroom is very humid (and we were lucky to have nice enough weather to open the window) and there is no door between the kitchen and bedroom. On the good side : the kitchen has everything you need, the bed is very comfortable and both Glenn and Paul are very helpful and nice and answer super quickly. Would recommend.

The Stressful Nightmare in Lisbon

The conditions in the unit rented through VRBO were totally unacceptable. The unit was unhealthy and unsafe. Water had been leaking from a pipe above the bedroom. And the pipe broke causing a pool of water to form in the bedroom. Mold had already formed and there was a “blistering” of the wall on one side and near the ceiling caused by the water. And the owner tried to provide another unit in the same building, but because one of us has a disability - mobility and pain caused by arthritis, the alternative upper level unit was virtually inaccessible, unsafe and unworkable. And we had to move all of our belongings up steep and extremely narrow unsafe stairs. The initial rental unit was not what it had seemed as advertised. Far from it, it was very/very minimally stocked with paper goods, dishes and other amenities, and it advertised that there was “a laundry room,” The “laundry room” was the laundromat out the front door and a block and a half up the street. This was misleading. And when we informed the owner that the unit was totally unacceptable and we had to leave, he said he would gladly refund our payment on a pro rata basis. We used his numbers and concluded that he owed us a refund of a certain amount. He has been uncooperative and unresponsive to our most recent messages. It has been a very stressful and nightmarish experience. We hope no one will ever face what we just went through.

Good morning. We have recently hosted Cheryl and it was an unfortunate experience for us too. Her claims are unfounded and don't correspond to the real events. She arrived on New Year's day, was shown in and all went well. She confirmed how much she liked our apartment and how happy she was there in her 'new home'. I instructed my assistant to take extra good care of her since she is older and she made it clear to us prior to her arrival that she is a difficult traveler. This is not a problem and we were happy to provide her special attention, above and beyond what is normally required. My assistant offered to clean her laundry for her during her stay with us to make things easy for her. After a week with us, we had an unfortunate issue and a pipe started leaking causing water damage in the apartment where she was staying. We had workers come IMMEDIATELY to repair the leak and to make the apartment perfect again for Cheryl. Luckily we had another unit available in the same building, and we moved her to this unit and she told us it would be fine to stay there until the other apartment was ready. This all happened on Friday, so we agreed to move her back on Monday which is when everything was ready for her. In the interim, she decided to move elsewhere and then started to become aggressive with us. I did my best to respond to her nicely and to try to resolve things, but it was difficult to come to agreement about anything. Her comments posted here are simply untrue in light of all we did for these guests and what great care we took of them during their stay with us. Her evaluation constitutes a libelous fictitious version of what really happened. This guest should be avoided.

La cuisine est bien équipée. Le lit est grand et confortable. La salle de bain est petite mais convenable. Il y a une mini cour entre 4 murs, pour pouvoir manger dehors et aérer les pièces. Je recommande pour un couple, bon rapport qualité prix.
