Memphis Meadows - Collierville Home - privacy with great views

Built in January 2021 with exceptional privacy and views. Three (3) stories with garage/laundry room on first floor, residential living on 2nd and 3rd floors. Jacuzzi J-465 5 seater hot tub dedicated for guests on lower covered porch. Whole home generator installed in 2025.
Large outdoor porch with grilling located on 2nd floor provides nice views of wildlife around private pond, meadows, and woods. Located in Collierville (Tennessee) by a state park called Herb Parsons lake known for hiking, mountain biking trails, and fishing. Guests can take walks on Lakeview drive that circles the private portion of Herb Parsons Lake. The Wolf river is close by with options to go canoeing, kayaking, etc. Uber Eats is available for drop-off at this location.

Interstate I-40 is 15 minutes while I-269/I-385 is 8 minutes. Spring Creek Ranch (country club) is less than 5 minutes. Restaurants and shopping in the Collierville/Germantown area is 15 minutes (Carriage Crossing). Elvis Presley Graceland is 43 minutes. The Mississippi River, FedEx Forum, downtown Memphis, and Tunica Casinos are within 50 minutes travel.

This place is adorable and quaint. Hot tub was a bonus that we needed at the tail end of our road trip. Clean, easy access, and pet friendly. Wish we could have stayed longer because the area is beautiful, the property is beautiful and we were very comfy there. You won’t be disappointed.

We stayed here for a work trip that we brought our kids along on. They loved the hot tub and we spent some time hiking trails at the nearby park. The property was very clean and we really enjoyed our stay.

I loved getting away from it all and my fiancé and I really enjoyed the wildlife, privacy and comfort of this beautiful cottage. We will return soon when we need a break from reality that is a short drive away. Genny the host is extremely good with her communication and I strongly recommend this pleasant and quiet retreat.

We continue to return here while we visit family in the area. As usual everything was wonderful! Very clean, kitchen is small but very well stocked and perfect size for our needs. Plenty of towels, washcloths and blankets. We will be back!

Originally from Milwaukee (Wisconsin), we have been married for 30 years with two kids in their 20's. Genny does the hosting and Paul does the home improvements/repairs.

Why they chose this property

Memphis Meadows took 4 years of nights and weekends to build using reclaimed lumber, supplies, and materials. The majority of the building supplies were purchased from Facebook marketplace. YouTube and Google were key learning sources. Without a doubt, family and friends made Memphis Meadows become a reality with their help. All components of the building process followed TN county standard building inspections and approvals. Key fact of Memphis Meadows? Hurricane and tornado proof...because of 2x6 walls with blocking, excessive metal straps, and hurricane clips.
