Just a few minutes' walk from the center of Uzès (8min), charming villa set in very beautiful, quiet surroundings, in a dominant position with lovely, unobstructed views.

Architect-designed villa offering 180m² of living space, including a cathedral living room opening onto the garden, 5 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, fully-equipped kitchen, terrace and 8 x 4-meter swimming pool.

It is also possible to rent, at an additional cost (higher than the advertised price), a 70m2 annex (in addition to the house) comprising 1 bedroom, a living/dining room with 1 armchair convertible into a 160 cm bed, a super-equipped kitchen, a recently renovated bathroom, a toilet and a terrace overlooking the garden.

Possibility of renting for up to 14 people, with 6 bedrooms (by renting the main house and the annex).

14 deckchairs, several outdoor tables and plenty of chairs.

New quality bedding, 160 cm or 180 cm beds, one bedroom with two single beds. Cot available on request.
Cleaning: 200 euros for the main house and 250 euros for the annex and house.

Large private landscaped garden (2510m²), old trees, lawn, squirrels, birds. Large terraces. Exterior garden lighting. Large gated parking area, shaded by old trees. A small town steeped in history and steeped in ancestral traditions, Uzès is located in Languedoc Roussillon, between Alès and Nîmes. It was the first Duchy of France.

The town grew with the construction of the famous Pont du Gard, which linked the waters of the Eure fountain to Nîmes. A prosperous little town, it became a duchy in 1565, then quietly grew into the charming city we know today. Uzès is classified as a Town of Art and History. Take the time to stroll through the town center, with its shady lanes, grand townhouses, medieval arcades and Renaissance turrets. Lovers of quirky little shops won't be disappointed by their visit to the heart of the land of legends. Bookshops, bazaars and dream merchants line the narrowest streets of the town center.

Wonderful home near fabulous sites in Provence

We spent two wonderful weeks at Les Micocouliers, a glorious property on the outskirts of Uzes, our new favorite town in Provence. Uzes has great sights, restaurants, shopping, and two market days. The property is spacious and comfortable with a pool, private pétanque court, multiple seating/dining areas, numerous shade trees and beautiful olive trees. It is accurately represented by the pictures and information on the VRBO site. The property manager, Peggy, was very helpful and was in easy contact via WhatsApp. The narrow country lanes in the neighborhood were initially intimidating, but we adapted: that became part of the charm of the site (maybe don’t rent as large a car as we did). Uzes is, as we had hoped from our planning work, a perfect base for touring the area, with sites such as Arles, Avignon, Aiguë Mortes, St Remy de Provence, Les Baux and other historic towns all within 35-65 min drive from the property.

PERFECT!

This place is fantastic. The house is beautiful, has everything we needed, was in a peaceful location but just a short walk to the centre of Uzes which is full of wonderful shops and places to eat. I highly recommend it.

The house is beautifully situated in a very calm area of villas, but close to the town. A large, lovely garden, a well-maintained property, fully equipped kitchens, nice interiors and a helpful support from Peggy – we, a group of 4 families, enjoyed our stay in Les Micocouliers very much. We got to know Uzès and the region. And we love it.

Our favourite place in France

We have had three fantastic holidays at Les Micocouliers and cannot recommend it highly enough. The house is lovely, very recently refurbished, incredibly well looked after and equipped with everything you could need - particularly the kitchen. The extensive gardens and pool are incredibly beautiful and peaceful with loads of space for eating outside and an excellent barbecue. The location is excellent - just a 10 minute, very pretty, walk into the centre of town, and yet far enough away to enjoy the peace and quiet. The owner and manager are both really helpful and very easy to contact. Uzes itself is an absolutely beautiful town with an excellent market twice a week. There are lots of restaurants and shops - some a little touristy - but La Famille in the main square is one of the best restaurants you'll find anywhere - excellent food, a beautiful setting and run by very lovely people.

Very nice extensive gardens house very comfortable and close to town Kitchen was the best equipped we have stayed in. Only negative was the pool was very cold maybe not so much of an issue earlier in season

Superbe propriété -bonheur absolu

Nous avons passé un sejour magnifique dans cette magnifique propriété. Les atouts de cette maison sont: le magnifique jardin, la tres belle vue, le calme , la proximité du centre d'Uzes ( 7 à 8 minutes à pied pour etre en plein centre) . La maison est vraiment perlée...pleine de gout et de confort. Tout est prevu question question equipements ...tout est neuf. Barbecue, table de ping pong, terrain de petanque et filet de badmington ..le tout en etat impeccable. Nous esperons que la maison sera disponible pour l'an prochain

Un havre de paix

Grands-parents, nous avons reuni nos deux filles et leurs enfants pour une semaine fin octobre. Nous avons été très bien accueillis par Peggy. Malgré un temps moyen, cette semaine aux Micocouliers à été un moment de vraie détente pour chaque membre de la famille. La maison est spacieuse, moderne et largement ouverte sur la nature. Aucun vis à vis. Entre les boules, le ping-pong...et même un plongeon dans la piscine encore entretenue, les plus jeunes n'ont pas eu le temps de s'ennuyer. Ils ont apprécié de pouvoir se rendre seuls à pieds à Uzès. Nous avons visité en famille les superbes villages alentours...et la fabrique de bonbons Haribo. Les rapports par mails avec les propriétaires se sont parfaitement déroulés.

Une superbe semaine pour 2 couples avec enfants !

Maison refaite à neuf au printemps 2016 avec goût, très fonctionnelle avec tous les équipements nécessaires, superbe jardin paysager, accueil charmant sur place, hamac idéal pour la sieste, centre-ville d'Uzes accessible à pied tout en étant à l'écart de la ville ... rien ne manque et tout est réuni pour passer de très belles vacances ! Seul petit bémol : la température de la piscine peut chuter quand le mistral est de la partie... mais ça n'est pas suffisant pour atténuer notre satisfaction ! Nous recommandons vivement cette location !

Exceptionnel

Une villa exceptionnelle, sur un site magnifique. Nous avons passé une très agréable semaine à 15 dans cette maison rénovée avec goût, parfaitement équipé, dans tous les domaines : intérieurs et extérieurs. Les chambres sont spacieuses, le rez-de-chaussée est climatisé, la cuisine est équipé de tout ce dont on peut avoir besoin. La piscine et la terrasse sont au top. Pour couronner le tout Peggy nous a réservé un accueil chaleureux et très agréable. Nous ne pouvons que vous recommander cette magnifique villa.

Très belle maison, très propre et très bien équipée. Situation géographique idéale par rapport au centre d'Uzès. Quel dommage que nous n'ayons pas pu profiter de la piscine !!! Le jour de notre arrivée, elle était ... VERTE !! et nous n'avons pu la voir correcte que 4 jours plus tard, soit 2 jours avant notre départ ! Quelle déception !! A de tels prix de location, ce genre de chose n'est pas autorisé !!! L'entretien et le suivi de la piscine sont donc à revoir sérieusement. Très bon accueil de Peggy. Sans ce problème de piscine, le séjour aurait été parfait.

Ein Traum von Ferienhaus

Seit 15 Jahren buchen wir Ferienhäuser in Frankreich. Die Villa in Uzès hat unsere Erwartungen deutlich übertroffen. Die Lage in einer Art Villenviertel, nur 15 Fussminuten vom Zentrum entfernt, eine nahezu absolute Ruhe, ein großer Park mit altem Baumbestand, die für Ferienhauser luxuriös ausgestattet Villa kann eigentlich keine Zusatzwünsche mehr generieren. Wir werden sicher wiederkommen, zumal auch die Betreuung vor Ort durch die charmante und vor allem fürsorgende Peggy perfekt ist.
