Large, comfortable house

My husband and I enjoyed a lovely week at this property with our 20 month old and my parents. The beds are comfy, the kitchen is well equipped and the general living area is good. The pool area is great and a really good size. It’s a quiet location with access to the riverside path which we made use of. It is good that the pool is slightly set away from the house to avoid any accidents with little ones although ensure you pack your mozzie spray as we got a lot of bites! We hadn’t realised that towels weren’t provided although the host kindly lent us some. A supermarket is within a short walk but public transport in the area is nonexistent. We managed to organise taxis however I would recommend a car. There aren’t really any restaurants locally so we spent a lot of time in Bergerac which is only 10-15 mins drive and very pretty. Overall, a lovely house in a peaceful area for a quiet break.

Family get away

This was our main two week holiday my daughter and new Husband joined us as well as my mother in law. So our ages ranged from 23 to 73 and it's safe to say we all thought this holiday was fantastic. Lots of room and modern features in a very French modernised property all done sympathetically and ouzing charm. The pool has to be the biggest we've been able to enjoy at the VRBO properties we've stayed in as well as having a nice shaded area for those of us who burn easily. It was a nice surprise to find there is a very short walk to the Dordogne river and pleasant walks along a tarmac path/service road. As it's self catering a local pizza place was great, as well as the supermarket also in walking distance. On arrival we met Damian and we don't speak much French or he English although more than my French, we used Google translate for any areas we struggled to understand. He was really helpful and nothing to much trouble. They were apologetic on our arrival the pool cover wasn't working but it was open so we could use the pool and it was fixed the next day which I thought was great in them making sure from the off we had a great time. I would definitely recommend this property for a relaxing getaway and I think we will be returning for another holiday.

Un excellent séjour

Nous avons passé une excellente semaine en famille, dans ce gßte trÚs agréable. Céline, Thierry et Damien sont trÚs sympathiques et nous ont trÚs bien accueillis. La maison est spacieuse, remarquablement agencée et décorée. Le chemin et la piste cyclable le long de la Dordogne menant à Bergerac sont également de vrais atouts. Encore merci pour cette belle semaine. Nous recommandons ce magnifique gßte sans réserve !

Une belle semaine de fin de vacances

Merci pour cette agrĂ©able semaine de vacances. Le gĂźte a profitĂ© aux adultes comme aux enfants. Une belle piscine et des espaces extĂ©rieurs qui nous ont permis de nous retrouver Ă  12 et de passer de bons moment. Un bel agencement et amĂ©nagement intĂ©rieur. L’accĂšs au chemin le long de la Dordogne nous a invitĂ© Ă  quelques footing. Les propriĂ©taires ainsi que Damien qui nous a accueilli ont toujours Ă©tĂ© trĂšs rĂ©actifs vis Ă  vis de nos demandes. Séjour trÚs agréable

Tres bel endroit

Le gite est renové et fonctionnel. La piscine est un vrai plus notamment avec la partie de 50 cm ideale pour les enfants. Elle est securisee et en contrebas de la terrasse. Environnement calme et parc tres agréable. Prevoir d'emporter des solutions pour les moustiques. Accueil chaleureux et disponibilité des proprietaires. Nous conseillons.

Bonnes vacances entre adultes et enfants dans cette belle maison à se dorer autour de la belle et grande piscine. Dommage que les moustiques et les fourmis ont été du rendez-vous. TrÚs bonnes prestations dans l'ensemble. Les serviettes de toilettes seraient un plus pour une prochaine visite.

Vacances familiales avec enfants et petits enfants. Ce gĂźte se prĂȘte Ă  ce type de sĂ©jour. La piscine est idĂ©alement situĂ©e en contre bas , ce qui permet de garder du calme prĂšs de la maison. Excellent séjour

Belle maison rĂ©novĂ©e avec goĂ»t, spacieuse, calme, trĂšs bien situĂ©e. Son accĂšs direct Ă  une piste cyclable est un vĂ©ritable plus. CĂ©line et Thierry sont des hĂŽtes accueillants, trĂšs bien secondĂ©s par Damien sur place. Ils ont Ă©tĂ© trĂšs rĂ©actifs suite Ă  un dysfonctionnement rencontrĂ©, rapidement rĂ©solu. Je recommande sans rĂ©serve cet hĂ©bergement oĂč nous avons passĂ© une excellente semaine Ă  7 adultes.
