I have stayed here multiple times. The house is great and the gravel bar in front of the house is amazing. My friends and I just didn’t want to get out of the river. I love this house and you will too!

Wonderful stay!! My family travels routinely to the area to see my brother and his family. I think we have found our new routine place to stay. So peaceful, relaxing, and private. Thanks for a great place to come to.

The host was easy to work with. But the cabin was much more dingy and dated than we expected. The deck area was full of spiderwebs and we could not even find a broom to knock them down with. Lots of wasp on the deck also. Host was super nice and check in easy but cabin was not as clean as we had hopped.

We got what we came for: A lovely and somewhat remote retreat looking(literally) over the Current River with a deck and a fire pit with comfortable beds, hot water, and enough kitchen gear to prepare meals. You can even do some light fishing from the old boat ramp but more to pass the time than get serious. This would be an amazing place for a family to set up as a Basecamp for a floating adventure. We were just two old dudes catiching up and hitting rhe river and it was more than we needed but we loved it.

Family visit

The PERFECT place to catch up with family and enjoy the river! Looks just as it does in the photos with a very nice and safe cove for younger kids to play in the river with life jackets on.
