Kahana Sunset is an ocean front resort with 72 low-rise units on quiet Keone Nui beach where, often, the only footprints you see are your own. The sand is pristine, the turtles & tropical fish are abundant, and the waves are family-friendly ~ whether calm and gentle for snorkeling or with sets of waves rolling in, perfect for the body surfers in the family. Each day brings a new beach experience.

Our 1100 square foot home is 150 feet from the beach. It has been beautifully and totally remodeled. We created a spacious living, dining, kitchen area, and powder room on the lower level. Upstairs is the master bedroom with a fabulous view from the lanai and a guest bedroom. Both have remodeled bathrooms with spacious showers. Our home is beautifully furnished in a tasteful, understated tropical décor.

Just inside the door, you'll find a custom 'cubby credenza' with a bamboo basket 'cubby' for every member of your family. It's the perfect place to stow your towel, keys, cell phone and beach bag! The gourmet kitchen with its spacious granite peninsula is well-appointed, with everything you need when you decide to dine in. You'll find flat screen HD TVs in every room with a Bose in-wall speaker system and Bluetooth connected audio system for your phones and tablets in the entertainment center. Free WiFi. From the lower level lanai, you have a stunning view of the ocean and the gardens.

We keep our home very clean* and in top condition. In 2016, we put in a new refrigerator and totally redecorated - new barstools, all new upholstery, and new mattresses.

At sunset, everyone gathers at the beach to watch the most spectacular sunsets on Maui. After sunset, the grills are the place to be ~ with guests sharing favorite recipes, restaurants, and island activities.

Kahana Sunset is a special place where your family can share time together, make new friends, and create cherished memories. Most of our guests come back to our paradise year after year. We hope you will too!

The condo was clean, comfortable and lovely and the property grounds were beautiful with lush vegetation, lots of birds, whale sightings and sea turtles. We especially enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere, friendly other guests, and ground keepers.

This condo exceeded our expectations on every level. This was our young grandsons first trip to Hawaii and our family was comfortable with plenty of space for everyone. Kahana Sunset has an excellent swimming beach that the kids loved. Bananas, lemons and papayas are growing on the property along with other lush vegetation making our Hawaiian experience one to remember. We will definitely choose Condo B2 for our next visit to Maui.

Amazing Property

This is one of the absolute best VRBO properties we have ever stayed at. We were not lacking anything in our condo. There was even more provided than I would’ve expected. The property was quiet very well maintained. We’re talking about coming again next year and I would stay here again.

Great place to stay with kids

We had a wonderful time staying at Kahana Sunset. Loved hearing the waves crash from the bedroom and seeing views of the sunsets from the lanai. Beds were very comfortable for our family of four. The pool was perfect and the grounds staff were all so friendly. We hope to be back !

We had a great stay as a family of 5! The location was great- and the property was quiet given it was over Thanksgiving week. The property had almost everything we needed to make ourselves and home and we had plenty of room to spread out. The host was awesome and quick to respond with any questions we had! We will definitely book again!

Great location especially the private beach. Unit is updated and well appointed particularly the kitchen. Beds very comfortable. There was an issue with AC but quickly resolved by management company.

Perfect Home Away From Home

Perfect home away from home. We had everything we needed to prepare meals in the kitchen or down at the bbq. Relaxing, reading and having our morning coffee or evening cocktails on either balcony was amazing. The sounds of the ocean from our master suite was a true joy. This was our 4th time staying at Kahana Sunset and can easily say this has been our favorite unit.

Unit was very clean with new amenities. The kitchen was extremely well equipped. The only thing missing was a griddle pan and If I would have found one at the Napili Market, it would have had one. Everything else was there without want.

A little bit of everything in all the best ways

Kahana Sunset B2 helps provide a vacation with something for everyone. Just a short drive to Kaanapali and Kapalua but with a private, quiet beach. The unit was well-appointed with plenty of supplies for staying in and enjoying the view from the deck, but with plenty of eating options nearby as well. The space was comfortable, clean, and well loved. Thank you for a wonderful trip!

Amazing week with family

Kahana Sunset is a nice property in a great location to a grocery store and attractions. We enjoyed the fact that the complex is small and not crowded like area resorts. The beach on the property is beautiful and fun to snorkel. We usually saw 4-5 sea turtles every night. The condo itself is updated and had everything we needed. We loved having a view of the beach from our lanai. We hope to stay there again soon!

I'm from Colorado. I'm an empty-nester now, but our kids have been coming to Kahana Sunset for more than thirty years. They still do! My granddaughter now swims in the pool just as my daughter did. I love the outdoors, camping, golfing, and the ocean. Kahana Sunset is the perfect place for me to relax and renew.

My late wife and I have vacationed at Kahana Sunset since 1987, coming back year after year. We became a part of the Kahana Sunset family years before becoming owners. It is a family, a community of guests who come back year after year. We've become friends with other owners and guests who vacation there at the same time every year. This place is somewhere your family will make memories too!

What makes this property unique

Kahana Sunset is more than a 'property'. It is a resort community. It is a place where you can meet someone in the pool who vacationed there with their parents thirty years ago and now has brought his or her children. Families come back year after year.
