Come enjoy paradise in this renovated two-bedroom, two and 1/2 bath condominium with recently added AC in West Maui, Hawaii. With a panoramic view of the ocean, Kahana Sunset Unit E6, is just steps away from a private sandy beach. The two-level condo, which sleeps up to six, has two large private lanais (balconies), one on the lower level, one on the upper. Both have spectacular views, stretching across the ocean to the nearby island of Molokai.

The condo features a remodeled fully-equipped kitchen, full-size washer and dryer in unit, free high-speed Internet access (WiFi), ceiling fans, baby equipment, water gear, and much more...

The Kahana Sunset complex includes one of Maui’s most gorgeous white sand beaches, off the reef-protected Keone Nui Bay. Sea turtle and whale (during whale season) sightings are commonplace. On the Kahana Sunset grounds, there’s a heated swimming pool, separate children’s pool, lush tropical gardens, a community herb garden and several barbeque areas. Other features include keyless entry to your condo and free covered parking in front of/or close to your unit. Once you’ve settled in, you won’t want to leave this peaceful, tropical paradise!

Located just eight miles from the charming old whaling village of Lahaina, Kahana Sunset is on the west side of Maui, between Kaanapali and Kapalua. Shopping, dining, horseback riding, hiking and championship golf courses are only minutes away.

The location and property were great! Beautiful view. The host was not communicative, especially when we were lost getting there. The listing has an incorrect address and we didn’t hear back when reaching out for help. A window in the second bedroom was broken and the AC was very difficult to utilize. Overall, clean and beautiful spot but wish the host had been more helpful.

We loved our stay here. Very well stocked and comfortable. We had two adults and two older teens and all felt like more than enough space. Beautiful sunsets viewed from the lanai. We really enjoyed being able to walk down to the beach and float and snorkel then rinse off and jump in the pool.

Great spot for a good price.

We really enjoyed our stay here. It was hard to find the address of the property and when I used the location, the GPS took me to the wrong place. It is waterfront and there is a small beach area but you can’t really lay on the beach here.

Perfect little getaway with the kids

Just finished spending two weeks at this beautiful boutique resort. The kids absolutely loved splashing around in the pool, the grounds were very well kept by Junior and Lance. (groundskeepers) they even had some fruit grown on the property (coconuts, and papaya) that they sampled to the kids, which tasted amazing! We will definitely be staying at this resort property again

We are the Colman family and we live in San Diego, California. About 10 years ago we first visited Maui, loved the island and haven’t visited another Hawaiian island since. A couple of visits later we discovered Kahana Sunset and fell in love again. Several visits to Kahana Sunset later we decided to buy and purchased unit E6 in March, 2009. Then in June 2012 we completed a major renovation that upgraded the kitchen, added a half bath downstairs, new flooring and furniture throughout the unit.

Why they chose this property

You will not find many properties like Kahana Sunset. It is most known for its private sandy beach on the charming Keonu Nui Bay. The bay is great for swimming and snorkeling and filled with the giant sea turtles which are a common sighting. The property has a pool, children's pool, two bbq areas and a large grassy area which is used for the annual Easter Egg hunt. The people are very friendly and you might make a new friend.
