Kick back and relax at this oceanview condo where you can open your sliding glass doors and welcome in the Hawaiian sunshine and sea breezes. Inside this condo, you'll find a well-equipped, full kitchen, an intimate dining table, and a cozy living area with rattan furniture, a cooling ceiling fan, and a TV all ready for movie nights. This condo also includes a desk and chair and high-speed WiFi in case you need to do some remote work or schooling while away from home. You will also enjoy access to a shared pool just a short walk from your door.

You'll be within four miles of Kahekili Beach Park, Black Rock Beach, and Kapalua Beach, among others. End the day with delicious mahi-mahi from the Fish Market Maui, less than a mile from this property.

Another amazing stay

The property is always well manicured and exactly what we have come to love and expect from the Mahina Surf. This unit is adorable and everything the two of us needed. The bedroom door was slightly difficult to close but that’s the least of our concerns. Great experience all the way around.

Beware of Ongoing Construction

Overall, this is a great spot in Maui—we’ve stayed here before and really liked it. But just a heads-up: as of May 2025, there’s ongoing construction that wasn’t disclosed by the owner or Vacasa. They were redoing the common grassy area and landscaping - most of the grassy area is mud / dirt right now including immediately outside our our room. Sprinklers would go on and off throughout the day, meaning you’d either get soaked or have to wait to cross the shared grassy/pool area. Landscaping work was happening all week. Most of the apartments were roped off with yellow construction tape, which kind of ruined the vibe. Unfortunately, this all came as a surprise when we arrived. Had we known ahead of time, we would’ve booked somewhere else to avoid the construction hassle. It honestly felt a bit deceptive not to disclose this— the only response we got from Vacasa was a flat “truly sorry to hear that.”

Our team had notified guests about completed construction and ongoing landscaping, but we regret if this wasn’t clear. Some low-noise projects may have been underway, and newly planted sod was marked with caution tape and watered. We wish you had reached out during your stay so we could have assisted or offered alternatives. Your input is valuable, and we hope to provide you with a better experience in the future.

I didn't love anything. When I checked in, it was already after 10pm. I found all the appliances pulled away from the walls, the dishes and utensils were put onto the couch area and several outlet/light covers had been removed. I took photos and emailed them to Vacasa customer service. They responded by saying that because it was late, the local representative would contact me the following morning. The next morning I received a call from the local representative who informed me that there was a scheduled pest control service and if it was okay for them to perform the service at that time (around 9:30am). I had already left the room and would not be available till late afternoon. The local rep said that they could have me stay in another room that night. I went to see the rep at about 4pm and he said it was taken care of. I didn't think they would enter my room without my permission, but they had entered and I also didn't realize that they had treated the room with some kind of chemical(s). I had asked the rep if I am changing rooms, and he said there was no need to as it had been taken care of. Had I known that they had sprayed something in the room, I would have insisted on not sleeping in the room. I left the room to go to dinner with friends, so I was in the room for only a few minutes and returned later that night after 10pm once again. I took a shower and tried to sleep, but because of the chemical treatment, I got a headache and was having trouble breathing. I trie

Main complaint was fold out bed blanket not in unit, requested and said they would have someone bring us one. Never happened, whole week without blanket.

This is an amazing property in a great location. It's steps to markets/beaches/restaurants, but also feels very private. The one thing to note is the very early checkout (10am).

Location is right on the ocean. The Lanai is in the shad so you can stay out all day and enjoy the water without being too hot.

Very nice, beautiful ocean view. Every thing that was advertised was that and more. You can always want more but this was very nice. Location was great and close to alot of fun. Turtles who apparently beach there was very cool... do it again in a heartbeat

Office Staff Jimbo was great. Leaky Toilet

Wish I could award a five star as Jimbo in the office was exceptional. We rented 3 units. He extended the check out time of this unit to accommodate the family members with late departure flights. The toilet, however,needs to be chalked as it was continuously leaking, and the interiors of kitchen cabinets, especially utensil trays were a bit nasty. We were also told that guests only get one set of towels and need to wash them on our own during your stay.
