We had the absolute pleasure of staying with Georges and Marie-Christine, and they truly went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and at home. From the moment we arrived, their warmth and generosity were evident.Georges, a remarkable historian, has authored or co-authored 60 books on D-Day. His knowledge of medieval Norman history is equally impressive. We thoroughly enjoyed our conversations with him. He’s not only incredibly knowledgeable but also passionate and engaging. It felt like we had our own private historian guiding us through the rich history of the region.Marie-Christine was equally gracious and kind. She made us a memorable homemade quiche that was not only delicious but also made us feel personally cared for. Her thoughtfulness throughout our stay was truly special. This lovely couple made our trip unforgettable. If you’re looking for a beautiful stay combined with genuine hospitality and fascinating conversation, we cannot recommend Georges and Marie-Christine highly enough.
